Its always a pleasure to seeing Sweet Maddy on the videos, and in the pits. JTR RACING are the best kind of people. Tii and Randal are a riot. I can't wait to see the whole gang at the Jim McClure Nitro Nationals in Rockingham two weeks from now. Thanks Jack for the awesome coverage, We appreciate what you do and never miss an episode.
@@cycledrag OK jack, it's a toss up between 2 so rather than flipping a coin I will tell you both. Dennis the Nitro Menace Fisher was not only running for the event win at The Jim McClure Nitro Nationals at Rockingham, but that finals win would also win him the Nitro Funny bike championship for the year. He was running an experimental clutch set up that year and it needed to be water cooled after every run, so the water buckets and towels had to be brought back and forth to the return road each lap. Griz was his crew chief that year and they were short of time and help so Smokin Joe Peterson and I got drafted to man the water for cooling back and forth to the big end for them. Dennis put crew shirts on us and we got to staging lane for the final and championship run. It was an incredible experience being able to help Dennis and being part of his incredible championship season, I got to keep the crew shirt and have a great credit on my crew record. Dennis is the best kind of guy, and from V-Rods to Nitro funny bike he is always a threat in the other lane. Then equally as significant to me was Having Tii Tharp stop by the pit with Racing Legand Scot Wood in the Golf cart and many Taco, after eating Fresh oysters that we had brought up we all loaded up headed out to JTR Racing and Tii took us up in a hydraulic crows nest that had been a Nascar video command trailer. I will never forget being up in the sky looking down over the Pits with legends, champions and friends with the greatest view ever of the Rock. I have decades of incredible memories, but those are the 2 that stand out in my mind.
Awesome in depth look into the topfuels. These are the ultimate 2wheel machines. Even though they only use the rear tire making a hit..lol. great video again jack.

I must comment on the dude that pushed you away. I raced AMRA back in the day for 8 years. Stock to pro modified. I was treated the same by a top fuel racer by the name of Ray Price. Me and my brother were standing a foot away from his spectator yellow line when he demanded we were too close. We clearly were not. And we were set up and racing a short distance from him and his crew. Weather I was a spectator or racer, didn’t matter too me. Spectators pay extra then to enter the pit area. Kind of hurt to be told like that from someone most people look up to. I don’t know who the woman was that followed us to apologize for that. Possibly his wife? Don’t matter. Glad to hear. Better coming from Ray but it was all good. Lots of racers you interview for a few seconds, I can tell they got shit on there minds but still stay respectful for those few seconds. If your sport doesn’t allow you to do the right thing, find one that does! I watch Cycle Drag whenever you have a new video. I miss the sport and you are bringing me back. Don’t be discouraged! Keep up the good work.
