    I don’t have facts about them but they’re cute and awesome and I have a few coming in backyard yearly. I got a feeder for them and put nice sugar water and now they sit and feed daily and go away. Beautiful and brings me joy just to watch them

    My favorite hummingbird fact is that, in the tropics, there are mites that live in flowers and they use the birds to disperse by running up the beak while the bird is feeding, and running down it at a subsequent flower.

    The amount of G forces male Anna's can can withstand when doing their mating dance swoop is amazing. I believe it is 9+gs. And all with a body the weight of a nickle.
