So those are actually the factory side rails! I wanna say they have two options of either a narrower style like we have on our Wrangler or a wider style like he has on the Gladiator. Eventually we will both be going with some frame mounted rails that can handle some rocks a little better. The factory ones are strong but still a body mounted rail. Thanks for watching!
Hmm interesting I haven’t heard of that before, but could be true. We didn’t do that and haven’t had any issues, but that doesn’t mean it’s right. We hit Poughkeepsie, black bear, and Imogene last weekend so it saw a lot of flex and highway miles getting there and no issues.
Nice video, appreciate that included TIPS that worked and those that didn't seem to help. How long would you say it took to install just the lift? The kit says 3-4 hours but I have seen videos where it takes a lot longer. Thanks
Well it’s kind of hard to judge… recording an install makes it take wayyy longer. Also we did his replacement front bumper in the middle and had some issues there. If I had to guess if it was just two guys and doing on the garage floor I would say roughly 5-6 hours with the correction brackets.
@@BreacherUpOffroadCustoms Thanks, we did it today. Took about 5.5 hours on the garage floor in the heat and humidity, from start to clean up and a short break for lunch. We put on the longer mopar crontrol arms instead of the correction brackets. We had a really hard time seeing any real length change in the supposed longer control arms. Thanks again.
@@retiredoutdoors7796 Nice I hope my video might have been some help! I haven’t looked much at the longer Mopar control arms, but hopefully you get some good performance out of them!
Were these stick 33s? Was curious what that would look like with the spacers on my currently stock Mojave if I plan on running these tires a little longer
Yes this was with the stock set up on wheels and tires! It looked a little silly with the smaller tires... but it wasn't unbearable if you had to run it like that for a couple months in my opinion.
@@HerringtonLives For the ride height I just went center through the wheel up to the bottom of the fender. The control arms were close to where they mount to the vehicle… Probably 6” away. Then just on the driveshaft. I never measured any pinion angles.
Great (helpful) video. Thanks. I learned I'm having someone install this on my Mojave.
No problem! It’s not too horribly hard, but there is a decent amount of work to it for sure!
What's the model step rail ya got?

I believe your not supposed to torque the control arms and track arm until you have the weight of the vehicle on the wheels.

When you were doing your measurements, what point were you measuring to?

Like your shirt, where you get it from?
My buddy is a Matco dealer so he hooked me up with it when we built his shop.
What aluminum front bumper did you guys put on this?
I honestly can not remember. I’m gonna have Daniel reply to your comment when he can and he’ll give you that info 👍🏼
MP Concepts Forged Aluminum Front Bumper I ordered it from extreme terrain
Awesome I’ll check it out!
