I'm Swiss and live in Zürich. I don't know why I love watching people enjoying my beautiful city so much 🥰 glad you like it
I love experiencing a new country through you both! Makes me want to add Switzerland to my bucket list too. Can’t wait for the next adventure!
thank you so much for coming along!
Schnitzel is my favorite German food, but Sauerbraten with dumplings would be one of those joys you can’t get anywhere else!
Excellente! Danke!
Hi Hilary and Greg just catching up on you Zurich adventures. I wanted to say I’m so excited for you guys to be checking off some of your bucket list adventures. Zurich is now on my list of countries to visit. Sending you guys love from Mexico. Enjoy!!!!
I am enjoying seeing you in this new adventure in life,
thanks for coming along!
Hi, just wanted to say that fire roasted chestnuts is also a very popular Portuguese thing.
Love your channel!
I’m enjoying watching you experience Europe. We have a timeshare in PV and have followed you for years. My wife and I travel to Europe every year and love seeing your expressions as you see things for the first time. It reminds me of our first visit.
wow--that is cool! Thank you so much for coming along!
amazing! Now I wanna travel to Europe! Saludos desde Cuernavaca
07:50 There are hot chestnuts everywhere, not only in Switzerland, especially in winter they are often offered at the Christmas market
I think I saw hot air balloon on your bucket list! That is how hubby proposed. You will like it. It's a peaceful feeling!
So fun to follow you two! Can’t believe this is your first time in Europe! You MUST go to Spain!!!! It is outrageously beautiful; I just know you will LOVE it!!!
I have a feeling that’s next for them.
@@goldvideo well if it is next, I hope it’s Andalusia. Granada, Córdoba, Sevilla …
It's so funny when you talked about the chestnuts. I had never eaten roasted chestnuts, nor saw them anywhere before I came to Tbilisi, Georgia. They sell them everywhere on the street here and are very popular. I always think of the "chestnuuuts roasting on an open fiiiiire" when I see them, so I'm glad you thought the same! 🤣
oh wow! That is awesome!
I think they sell them everywhere in Europe! I have seen them in many places.
Pursue and capture your dreams good job you two
My favourite German food is spatzle and of course German Red Cabbage served with Roast Beef and gravy, hope you get to try some.
Would love to go to Zurich, Chris. ♥️🎶🥀🎶♥️🥰🍷🧀🥨
Cheers to you guys for the wonderful videos.....planning to go in south of France next year....and see you both in puerto Vallarta in November....enjoy those moments...💗
Zurich is truly amazing, no doubt about it....but wait till you get to Paris. Can't wait to see that thru your eyes.
When I was there everything smelled like piss and a homeless(I assume) person rampaged in the mcdonald.
The sights are beautiful but I would never want to live there.
Chesnuts! When I saw the big thing on the street, my first thought was brownish Esquites in Zurich?.!!
Ich liebte es, von Michel Thomas zu lernen. If you can locate the AUDIO only recordings of German with Michel Thomas you will get the basics to build your learning on... I loved traveling Germany and France... You are going to LOVE this adventure!! Hopefully you will make it to Spain and Portugal as well.
You can get roasted chestnuts in the streets in NY when it gets cold!!
so happy you guys are traveling in Europe!! 🥳🙏☺️
eeeek us too!
Les sigo desde México, lindos lugares. Saludos!!!.
Buen trabajo chavalones 👍🏾
It looks like you have fun and you should add on your bucking list a trip to catar for the world cup 😃
Hola! Actually, going to the World Cup is on our bucket list!!! ;)
You Guys should go to Jordan and try the falafel there! My fiancé is Arabic and Arab food is AMZING! 🫶🏻
that's a decent pour!❤
Yes!......and probably the food, too!....
Run Kennons Run

Hello another great video. The 50 dollar bill looks like the 20 dollar bill in Canada.Stay safe.
Though it was nearly 40 years ago, I remember more German than I know Spanish after living in Mexico for 2 years now. Maybe because I was younger, but it’s weird when I’m trying to learn more Spanish.
Yep, it's all good except the prices of things there. Germany and Netherlands also. Enjoy your travels and the wonderful train system to get you there.
Wow no lo puedo creer la palabra gratis algunas palabras son muy parecidas al español saludos 🖖🏻
🤣😂Awesome though🤩🥰
Traveling Europe. I preferred the Netherlands. But nothing beats my homeland (Mexico), why? Because most view Mexico in one dimension as just Mexico inhabited by mexicans. But Mexico is melting pot of cultures.. Spaniards, Russians, Germans, Middle Eastern, Dutch, Gringos, Canadians etc etc.
No digas mmdas meriyein
Por eso todo mexico es educado y tiene cultura europea. . .. si eso es.
@@franciscomuro4072 😜
By "gringos" you mean Americans?
Una pregunta: por qué los canadienses no son llamados gringos? 🤷♀️
Just imagine, Zürich and many other cities in Switzerland were founded and built by the romans. So many of the allyways you went through have been there since more than 2000 years and were often market streets in the roman empire! That's why those allys are so narrow and winding and not built for cars. They were made for Roman pedestrians, while the larger streets were built for Roman carriages.
Wait till you visit Italy you’re going to be so in love!
eeeek Italy is so high on our list!
@@kinetickennons we been there twice already because the food, the architecture, the feels is soo amazing
Thats because its not a train... it's a tram 🤣🤣🤣
So you guys are exploring where to move to in Europe now? Just asking.
not exactly...we're on a mission to pursue all of things on our official Bucket List! that list includes things allll over the world :)
@@kinetickennons Nice!
Greetings friends
Ok, just one more comment; when you get to Bavaria you may notice that German will sound a lot more harsh and boisterous compared to Switzerland, where the language is much more smooth and soft.
If you go to the south of Switzerland you will find more Italian spoken then German. You chose a beautiful country for your first European adventure. Enjoy!
thank you Sharon!
I think you'll enjoy Spain more, check out Barcelona.
Or for the real Spain, check out Madrid, Granada or Seville.
@@goldvideo Yup!
Yeah right in 1 day??
I hope you’re going to Germany. You have to eat ice cream there. I know no one thinks of ice cream in connection with Germany, but they really should! Amarena Becher!
ohh thank you for the recommendation!
People are making a line at swatch because Omega and swatch made a watch together and even in the usa they sre sold out
So German is easy? I would think it far, far more difficult than Spanish although I would like to learn German as well. Also would like to brush up on my French. I had three years of French in college but never got much exposure to it so I have not kept up with it and have lost a lot. i have had much more exposure to Spanish so I think of it as being easier.
nah--it isn't at all. We were just playing around with a few words at the beginning of the video we recognized!
I wonder...is there a way to sponsor you, specifically? Like, if you are in Switzerland or Germany, and we'd really like to see you eat an authentic meal, is there a way to "feed the Kennons" on this bucket list? Because I came to the channel to learn about Mexico, but now you are stepping into worlds I know (and others, too). I think people would love to see you have a proper cup of Swiss cafe, or rouladen, or...you get the idea.
Hola Heidi! Thank you for this. We have a link on our website where people can send us $ via Venmo and I suppose that could work. Or maybe we could like create something special for "buy us dinner" somehow?! I'll start to brainstorming. Thank you! Hope you are doing well!
@@kinetickennons I think that's a good idea. You show us Mexico, and we'll show you the world, one dinner at a time. Maybe "This dinner sponsored by..." but make boundaries so you don't get forced to eat or experience something you don't want or can't.
One additional thought: you probably don't want to give away your upcoming locations, but maybe you could a little? And people could target sponsoring specific things for specific locations. Because you'd want the $ while you are AT the location, not after you leave.
It's that pretzel better than a tlayuda from Oaxaca.🤔
Probably less germs on it
I was so listo to hate this...Mexico es mi patria chica. But you two work wonders wherever you go. It must be freezing, and can you really trust the street food? No avocados!!! Kill me now. Les amo.
haha awww. Thank you so much for this! and thanks for coming along!
It’s such a pity you are not in Mexico anymore but on the other hand it’s great you’re visiting new and interesting places. If you learned Spanish you will learn any other language without problem. 👍🏼
thanks for coming along!
Loud as usual, telling everyone - hey we are Americans and we are here
I always love to be in a country that doesn’t speak my language…why? Cause you can get lots of free stuff for being a foreign
I'm Mexican and lived in Germany years ago. I didn't want to keep learning German. I have the B2 level. But I don't use it in another country. And German language is very difficult to learn. Really.
I'm learning French and I love it and is more similar to Spanish. Instead German 😂 like nothing in common but it's very easy to pronounce being Mexican because the pronunciation is kinda similar but without the robotic of the German pronunciation.
I like and miss the German nature, and bread.
You could improve your English
Yes German bread! Nothing compares!
guys this is not mexico lol
In Europe, people usually jog in parks not on the city streets. This is considered gauche.
oops.
