A Swiss staple is “schnipo” - the abbreviated form (the Swiss LOVE their abbreviations) of Schnitzel pommes frites.
Definitely wrap up your dinner with a meringue, “e feini schoggimousse”, or “es Coupli”! Yummm!
Swiss cuisine is exceptionally seasonal compared to North America, so menu offerings might not generally be as broad - but the ingredients will definitely be fresher and much of the time way tastier!
One tip, Andrea, the second syllable in the word “lettuce” isn’t pronounced in a way that rhymes with the vowel component of “juice” - it sounds more like “let us” spoken quickly together. [letəs]🙂
