Every new PSP video you release means I download 5 more games on my PSP that I’ll probably never have time to get to. But if I have time one day, I’m going to have a helluva collection 😊
being grown up sucks huh? i got this packed game room with a huge crt and all the consoles with everdrives and optic drive emulators i could ever want. zero time to play, a wife and two kids. i gave up on rpgs all together and try to give some games a 20min play from time to time and thats that lol
If I may make a suggestion; I would suffer the same issue and I found a solution for it.. Pick any 2 games you'd like to get through and completely ignore everything else until a game is completed.. The reason for 2 games is to bounce interest between them. A bit burnt out on one? Switch to the other, BUT ONLY that other pick. I have found far better success in getting through the busy days and just focusing on a couple at a time. To be clear, continue to download whatever as much as you want, it's half the fun, but only play 2 titles at any given time.. Fight the temptation to try a new suggestion as well .
0:15 Fist of the North Star Legenda of the Dark King 1:43 Dead to Rights Reckoning 3:13 7th Dragon 2020 II 4:53 Killzone Liberation 6:27 Coded Arms 7:57 Ape Quest 9:22 Fate Unlimited Codes 10:55 Pangya Fantasy Golf 12:33 Untold Legends 14:04 .Hack//Link 🩵💖🤍💖🩵
I love my PSP. I bought my first PSP and Untold Legends and Lumines on release day. It seriously the best handheld I own with the Steam Deck being second.
Some bangers covered here, especially Coded Arms! Dead to Rights Reckoning is one I wasn’t sure would fare well on PSP, but looks quite good! Also, glad to see Untold Legends shouted here, as I had a blast playing that one with my nephew back in the day! Another awesome episode man! Also, that PS1 collection looks familiar at the end 🤣👍.
Dead To Rights: Reckoning was the first PSP game I got. I was stuck on the final level for absolutely ages until my mate came around and did it first try! I was happy but also kinda annoyed he did it for me, until I remembered I did the exact same thing to him but it was at his house on The Getaway on PS2 3 years prior. Great childhood memories 😆
Not having a second stick on the psp has been one of the dumbest things sony did. Theres a reason the controller for the ps1 and ps4 were pretty much the same.
Killzone liberation and resistance retribution are playable on PS4, ive been loving playing them again on console, these games are nostalgic and then some for me
As someone who never had a vita, the second stick on the ps4 really helps resistance retribution as well as the syphon filter psp game, plus some have trophy support now to so that's a nice addition.
Another cool thing about Coded Arms 1: I’m pretty sure it’s the only game on the system with procedurally generated levels. Every session is a unique experience.
Fate/unlimited code was a super impressive PSP game for being as feature rich as its PS2 bretheren. It's just a shame that the platform and its button layout made it all but impossible to do the ludicrously high execution combos that the higher level of gameplay demands (there are some absurd combo videos out there and many are even doable in actual matches!). This meant that the more hardcore players treated it as a novelty rather than a portable training tool. Fate/Tiger Coliseum was a really silly but fun battle game tho.
The PSP was a glorious system, so it's nice to see it's library get further spotlight. My own purchasing for the system was limited by it's memory card, but it's always good to keep in mind potential game purchases for the future. 2:20 - The arcade-point scoring nature makes this look a lot more appealing and it's movement looks very natural for a 3D shooter without twin sticks. The camera angle on screen and the lock on button seem to do a fine job of giving the best view without a need for camera control. 4:03 - Hilarious seeing the contrast of it's in-game chibi models and the 2D artwork. 8:12 - That would explain why I never heard of this Ape Quest here. I didn't download a game until the 3DS. Gosh, it looks cool though. 9:00 - Gosh, I do miss Ape Escape. This game looks hilarious. A nice, simplified take on a turn based RPG but still retaining plenty of fun elements to it. 11:17 - Pangya is a real visual treat. I've loved the entries on the Wii and it'd be cool to have it on PSP.
Hot shots tennis, is totally slept on and has loads of depth and rpg elements. The tennis game play is strong and gets really difficult towards the end. Also plenty of secrets to uncover.
Just wanted to say that a couple days ago I tried out 7th dragon 2020 because of this vid. It's way more fun than I expected. I've sunk like 20+ hours in just a few days. Give it a shot it's so good, it does nothing special but it just does everything right that it turns into something special. Thanks for the suggestion.
Killzone and Pangya might be underrated but are also two of the best PSP I own. KZ is an amazing take on what is normally a FPS and I prefer it this way over the standard games. And Pangya golf takes a great game like Hot Shots to another level. For sure dont sleep on either one of these killer games.
I remember "coded arms" and Contagion . It was a surprise to see "Konami" actually making FPS games . Too bad they cancelled the PS3 version . That game looked very promising
dragon 2020 and pangya are fantastic i can personally give my seal of approval. I don't know why i never played ape quest tbh, i assume i had some issue installing, because i loved every other ape escape game out there. There's one for your hidden gems list. Saru Get You: Pipo Saru Racer. The racing game from ape escape. It's truly very very good! it's got this mechanic where you can shrink your car and go faster but lose control, or expand the car for more control but less speed. It sounds dumb but it works great. And makes sense because the cars are actually like some roller suits for the apes or something, not cars
I've heard about 7th Dragon 2020 II but haven't played it myself. I'm not a big fan of turn based combat but the character creation seems interesting to me. I remember being really excited about Fate Unlimited Codes since it was the first game in the Fate series to come out in English. I had fun playing it, though I didn't play much after unlocking all the characters. Still have it installed on my PSP though! Untold Legends was my first PSP game! I got it because I saw it as Sony's spiritual successor to Champions of Norrath. I haven't finished it but I'm pretty sure I'm near the end. I gave my guy two swords. I'll have to pick it back up again some time!
Pangya was Amazing, when i was traveling around Europe trying to find a job, and finding only disappointments, this game was the only Company i had to keep me up
that's some very good games. its even interexting what they used, if they baked texture atlases or used vertex lightning in different ways.. some cool stuff visually. Ofc all the gameplay mechanics are pretty generic though. Sometimes I wonder if the only way to make a game last is through its story and presentation.
hi! i've spent the whole evening looking for a game that i saw in some psp video like this. it was a game where you run a shop and i think the rest was some kind of rpg. was it in one of your videos? if so what is it called cause i'm going crazy!
The PSP was an amazing handheld, seriously it had so many great titles that I dare to say that over the 70% of the entire library was just hidden gems or even simple entries of popular franchises that came and went. If we talk of PSP games that barely or hardly ever heard someone mention it, there are: Crush 3D: An unique 3D-2D fusioned platformer puzzle game. Hot Pixel: A great Wario-Ware like game that probably it's the only one alternative that exist in general. 😂 Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines: Probably the most underrated sequel of the entire franchise and it was quite good. PQ: Practical Intelligent Quotient: An amazing and super long IQ puzzle game that involve boxes and steps. Shadow of Destiny: Despite that was a port of an old PS2 game, hey it was amazing game to play it on the go and is a hidden gem, so it counts. 😂
These are all good picks but games like 7th dragon 2020 and .hack//link were only officially released in Japan. It can be hard to call a game underrated when the game in question isn't even playable for most of the world. They apparently have fan translations, but that means your only option is digital. Not everyone can or even wants to do that. Please try to emphasize this. I really do love your videos regardless of the subject, but its incredibly disappointing to try and look for these games only to realize that their physical releases are in Japanese only. I apologize of I sounded harsh because I still think your content is top quality.
Also dot hack link is notoriously bad and far from underrated. Every dot hack fan knows to steer clear of that one unless u have literally nothing to play and ur a masochist
Every new PSP video you release means I download 5 more games on my PSP that I’ll probably never have time to get to. But if I have time one day, I’m going to have a helluva collection 😊
Haha glad the videos help out!
His PSP and PS2 videos are easily the best at this. Those consoles are just FILLED with so many hidden gems
Same. Except for my rg353m and not a psp
being grown up sucks huh? i got this packed game room with a huge crt and all the consoles with everdrives and optic drive emulators i could ever want. zero time to play, a wife and two kids. i gave up on rpgs all together and try to give some games a 20min play from time to time and thats that lol

That means a lot, cheers Chris!
I really enjoy the narration and production of your videos. Nice job 👍
Thank you very much!
I spent hours and hours on coded arms when i was a teen staying up late af getting in trouble for missing the bus to school XD
Haha such a cool memory!
Gotta love the simplicity and value of this channel as a way to find interesting Games. Thanks for the amazing service!

I was surprised as well man, ended up being a great little action game!
PANGYA!!! My man that was such a good comfy game to play. I still absolutely love it

The ps1 never had analogue stick when it released but I get your point, you get used to it.
Lmao kid doesn’t know psx doesn’t have analog sticks
🫵🤡
Psx was the first with analog sticks
Killzone liberation and resistance retribution are playable on PS4, ive been loving playing them again on console, these games are nostalgic and then some for me
So glad both games got a rerelease!

HELL YES! More PSP! I love it!
Hope you find something you like!

Fate/Tiger Coliseum was a really silly but fun battle game tho.
I still play unlimited codes if I want to jump in a fight quickly im using vita tho not psp
LOVE THE PSP CONTENT BRO THANK YOU TVGS 🐐

Already played 5 of them! Nice series
Thanks Zeno!

I'll second that!
Recently bought a PSP, and I'm getting a new battery and sd card. It has so many games that never got a port...
One of the best handheld libraries!
Love 7th Dragon. Plan to play the 3ds entry.
Legend 🔥 Love your videos
Thanks Julio, I appreciate that!
I remember "coded arms" and Contagion . It was a surprise to see "Konami" actually making FPS games . Too bad they cancelled the PS3 version . That game looked very promising
Thank you for Coded Arms, have test on PPSSPP and love it!
Such a great FPS!
I always get at least one gem I've never heard of out of these and Pangya is it today. I'm a sucker for decent golf games.
Sweet a new list of psp games 🎮 to add to my game 🎮 list

Hope it worked out man!
Love your videos mates, but you ought to use the native resolution for the games.
These Japan exclusives are killing me! I just want to play them on my NA PSP!
Waifus playing golf - I’m sold!
Haha hope you enjoy the game!
I didn't even get a notice about this video but I'm watching it as we speak

More psp videos please good sir!
5:18 oh gosh i remember playing this on my phone using ppsspp and how they did not fix a bug 😂

I’ll check it out!
Which music is that on the end of video?
Weird hearing FATE being described as a graphic novel :)
More 2d action rpg (16-32 bit) please !
Which untold legends for PSP is best?
i need more games like max payne (not on psp tho) and dead to rights reckoning
10:55 is actually a South Korean made game and is fun on PSP😊
liberation looks 👌 , hd ❓
OMG someone besides me has heard of Pangya! Anyone who enjoys the Hot Shot golf series should check it out
Totally agree!
@@thatvideogamesshow I've heard tell that it's based on a Korean MMO but you don't need to know anything about it to enjoy the golf.
who is the pink haired pirate on the thumbnail? is she from 7th Dragon?
Francis Drake from the Fate series.
The Warriors!!!
I enjoyed my time with Pangya
Such a fun game!
You know what, screw it, keep putting hot anime girls in the thumbnails, it actually works. Long live the psp!!
There are so many good fighting games on the PSP but the D-pad wasn't that great. The Vita d-pad is so much better
Totally agree, absolutely love the Vita's D-pad.
Just please tell me who or where from is that girl on a the thumbnail.
Oh yeahh
Hope you enjoy!
I miss my PSP so much. I had an awesome library but I sold it all for beer and weed when I was younger 😢
Oh man sorry to hear that!
Dead to rights looks like Max Payne clone
100%!
💚💚💚💜💚
Judging by 3rd game 7th Dragon is not underrated.
woooooo pangya woooooooooooo
