That makes sense. She uses the pillows to prop herself up so she can be at an angle. I'm a massage therapist student and we learned about pregnancy massage and how pregnant people can't sleep on their back because the fetus adds weight onto the veins. I think KEY WORD IS I THINK it may be the same case for our girly pop. Ik she's not pregnant but she does have extra weight on her stomach

Hotel housekeeper here , you can ask front desk for up To 4 pillows ( of course it’s different each hotel I imagine ) also you can ask housekeepers and if you have a room with a pullout bed couch or rollaway bed , they have extra pillows in the closet :)

Literally the whole point of journalling is to get your thoughts and feelings out, and free writing is one of the best things you can do if you don't have a therapist. In my personal experience hand writing out my free writing has always felt more effective, because it's about your feelings, not caring about the presentation

I think i can shed some light on her journal hoards. People who feel like they have lost control, especially if they have an eating disorder, will do anything and everything they can to maintain either to themselves or others, that they have everything in control. Having lots of notebooks and planners is a superficial appearance that someone is organized and knows exactly what they are doing. Most of the time, the journals will remain half empty, empty altogether, or there will be journals for very specific things when they could be combined together.

Since you speak from experience (I also struggle with journal hoarding), have you figured out ways to combat it? How to commit to using a journal? I have so many just sitting around, but if they're gonna be thrown away or lost, I'd at least want them thrown out/lost with a story to tell instead of complete waste. I don't know if I'd be able to sell them off, either, since they're just cheap ones anyone could find.
@xobunnyfangsxo you could always donate extra ones 🥰 But for ones you have already started, trying making the pages your write in more personal in the sense of how it looks. Like for me, whatever i write i add stickers i really like or doodles on the pages so i feel compelled to keep going with that journal so i dont 'waste' the stickers or drawings. If you grow an attachment to it and like how it looks you are more likely to return to it😁💖

As an American woman, what "impresses" me is the sheer volume of items she gets. And almost all of it, extremely low quality.
When I shop, it's high-quality stuff and fewer items that last me, and it has to be on sale. She buys nonsense!! If there is a cheap dollar store, she will be there!!

The way she just buys books and sticks them on a shelf to gather dust without reading them just kills me. And I say this as an avid reader and very serious book collector. Buying a hard copy of a book is so expensive, I refuse to buy one unless I’ve already read it and absolutely loved it
I often buy books and hoard them, but then I have two English degrees so I’m used to having a long list of to-read books. I just love looking at them, read or not

wtf is with the constant references to how bad diet soda is? Out of ALL of the unhealthy, horrible life choices she makes, drinking diet soda doesn’t even register. I don’t understand why she makes a big deal out of it, and I certainly don’t understand why the audience makes a big deal out of it.
Diet soda is no worse than most other mass manufactured beverages. Those bottled waters have tons of microplastics and are basically overpriced tap water in wasteful single use plastic containers. But at least these beverages don’t have a ton of calories, which is really where she needs to focus. Drink all the diet soda you want, but eat better and move more!
Diet soda is a horrible thing to put into your body, and I say this as someone who used to drink a can of diet coke everyday. I don't know why this still needs to be said, and I'm not sure why you compare that to drinking water but there is not one single ingredient in diet soda that is good for you.
I think (if I remember correctly) there is research that suggests diet soda will actually increase your hunger signals while also improperly hydrating your body. Also, when you're thirsty, it can be mistaken for hunger. The caloric content is whatever to me because she may/may not be counting properly anyways if at all. However, there is something to say about the people that think if their drink is 0 calories, then they can eat more, too. Amber may be falling victim to any or all of those things, so I think that is why people harp on it so much. I don't really care other than being concerned about her tooth enamel.
Diet soda has additives that are very similar in composition to certain hardcore drugs, but the problem isnt if you drink it from time to time, but everyday in huge quantities. You become addicted to certain components in the sucralose. its healthier to drink a simple sugar soda once in a while, than taking diet, artificial drinks everyday and as a replacement for water.
@@csf801I wasn’t comparing it to drinking water, I was only saying that I don’t understand why people harp on her for it… and I was making the point that the BOTTLED water she showed has harmful components in it as well. I know all of the negatives to drinking diet soda, my point was that in her case, it’s not something she should be focused on. It’s the least of her issues. Make sense?

Does anyone actually journal? If you do, do you use a format ? I have tried it and honestly dont get the hype. Maybe its my personality or something just either felt depressing to read what i wrote or like i was trying to gloat.

I have a collection of mental health problems and find it helpful to write my thoughts out to label distortions and figure out what I’m feeling.
I think she uses it to talk about how wonderful she is and how evil that haydurs are
I journal! But Im disabled and neat and even really important to me memories just leave my mind permanently really fast. I just got done writing about how I encountered two rodents stuck in my brother pool while swimming today, knowing to anyone else itd be weird to bother writing down, but I like looking back and having memories on paper and think it'd be nice to remember that I was able to save them. I also journal as a timeline creator, it helps recalling situations or conversations that happened in the same day/days as other things Ive journaled. So i just chronicle events and feelings of the day and slap a sticker on the page and call it there!
and I personally believe she'd commit to the mental gymnastics as justifying things as needs

The types of journals where you create your own spreads was exhausting, i wouldnt write much after. So i moved onto a hobonichi weeks-- it's pre-made and has a small space for each day and a page on the right side for whatever you want. I didn't have much to write about or say, so I used it as my work/school/life planner. I eventually got into a habit of writing and realized that the weeks size isn't enough space to journal anymore lol. So now I'm onto the A6. I write a full page of stuff. Sometimes it is depressing but I like looking back and seeing how far I've changed and grown. I put receipts from the day, any photos, fountain pen ink samples.. I talk about what I did that day and how I felt. Write about new things I try. Any conflicts or things that bother me. And i miss a few days sometimes but i fill in those pages retroactively somehow anyway. Write about anything. I had a TBI and it affected my memory and speech, so the "bookkeeping" of my life ended up helping me so, so much. I would've never remembered some things if I hadn't written it down. Even the mundane or boring things i wrote gave me so much insight to what my life was before my injury
But yeah. If you don't have much to write or say, start with a smaller size. Less pressure to fill it all in lol, the Hobonichi brand is just perfect for me and my fountain pens.

I live a pretty busy and active life 😂❤️ not even i could journal that much and i am busy not house bound
I can’t use holiday accommodation bedding.. I take a bottom sheet, a blanket and my pillows.. I’ve been on 18-30 holidays, I know the kind of stuff that goes down 😅 unless they clean with holy water I’m not using their bedding or towels 😂😂
I hate to admit, but I bring paper plates, napkins, and plasticware to hotels as well because we know we’ll be eating out and bringing leftovers or desert for the next day or ordering pizza, and a lot of times you can’t get any eating utensils at places without room service.
Well but this makes sense lol you’re not getting pillows blankets and bed sheets because you don’t trust the cleaning service at hotels 😂
You could pack a set of cutlery and a small plate for everyone. Or get some picnic ones if you are travelling light. That way they aren’t single use. Personally I hate paper plates they are hard to eat off.

I feel like the reason why she has these hauls of useless things its because growing up she didnt have the chance to indulge in shopping sprees. I'm sure that as a kid who was abused and in a troubles situation, she would see every item and want it like all kids do, but never had a chance for it.. And its clear that growing up, neither her foster home nor her biological parents had a proper eye-to-eye talk about saving money or how to be responsible with money when you become an adult. So as an adult, it makes sense that now that she has her own money and freedom to buy whatever she wants, she goes and does it, compulsively as well, which feeds into her anxiety issues. Also its a known fact, those people who feel empty emotionally will try to find some kind of fulfillment in material things, make it worse if she already has anxiety and has a tendency to become addicted to things.

Something I’ve just now noticed is that I’ve never ever heard our gworl mention reading any of these books. Has she ever said “I’m going to sit out in the sun and read,” or, “I’m going to take Twinkie-Star to the park, and I’ll layout and enjoy a few chapters.”
