The size of her face in that era & her denying & lying about her weight & health absolutley enrages me... her talking about ounces like they're milestones while she's 500lbs over weight, was bleeding none stop for 2 years, every infection known to the medical world & her big old moon face while she vlogs from a mattress in the living room & she had the fucking nerve to lie to people because she cannot take accountability is just the perfect example to explain why she's a decade into a weight "loss" journey with not a shred of progress.
She can honestly claim that she “never saw 600 lbs on the scale” because the scale that she uses (a My Weigh xl-550) only goes up to 550lbs, and the closer you get to 550, the less accurate it is. She purposely bought one that only went that high, even though the same exact brand has several that go to 700 and even 800lbs (she even mentioned this when buying it) for a comparable price range.
Mattress was a chair AND a maxi pad… and I know no one was steam cleaning or stain treating that either 😓😓

Honestly think about it realistically. She wasn't freebleeding on that mattress. It would have been seeping through to the floor, and all along the rest of it. We never saw anything like that. They also would have drug her azz to the ER. They weren't complete monsters.

A mattress, soaked in blood, never drying, with a 600lb woman sitting on top of it all the time would have a horrible smell that would just make the whole house reek. She went to restaurants, other peoples houses, walked around Walmart and Target and didn’t leave a trail of blood wherever she went.

@Cerenu Exactly 💯! When a woman is so large they have to use a wiping wand with tissue on the end of it. How could she not cross contaminate? She would have to do the same with a soapy wash cloth. Unless someone is washing her. She has admitted she can't reach her lady parts. So, is she using the wand now in the shower or skipping the 🧼 soap? 🤢

MBP mentioned how gross it was that she went to the hospital but didn't change her clothes or shower. After being in the ER she definitely should have taken some effort to clean up so she didn't catch some other bug.

@alle2740, I would have to be near 💀 to not shower before going to the hospital. I mean, unless I was gushing blood or having a heart attack. What if she had to have a catheter or pelvic exam. I suppose she wasn't embarrassed.

I have chronic illnesses. Anytime I go to the hospital I feel *gross* when I get home. I’m usually too tired to wash my hair but I shower, scrub my skin, toss the clothes I wore in the washer immediately and put on clean clothes. The fact that she didn’t do that is disgusting and pure laziness.
Especially when the hospital is a good place to get MRSA. She thinks cellulitis is bad. I had MRSA when I was 6-8 years old because I was in and out of the hospital frequently. Ended up missing Halloween one year because I had to have a massive abscess on my side surgically drained, and then continually manually drained for about a week. Thankfully my brother went trick or treating for me 😂 but it’s no joke, she’s lucky nothing happened to her, especially when being obese makes you more prone to infections

Someone on her My Fitness Pal at this time said she was 620.

This is also around the time she was bleeding nonstop. There is no way she had a proper waterproof cover on that mattress... or any cover. She was just laying down towels and free bleeding onto them. And since she wasn't properly wiping or washing her vulva/genital area. I'm surprised she didn't get a horrific kidney infection from all the bacteria traveling up her urethra.
She was also definitely 600lbs in this era. She claims that 572 is her highest recorded weight and was never 600lbs... guess you can't be 600lbs if you just stop weighing yourself.
She was getting kidney and uti infections. She even got a crazy belly button infection. But instead of telling the hospital about the bleeding. She got antibiotics for the infections. It wasn't until the bleeding was consistent that she finally admitted to the bleeding

also it really bothers me when she flat out lies and says that the doctor found a lot of bacteria in her blood. As someone who has survived sepsis recently, I can say with confidence that it takes hours, not minutes for bacteria to grow in your blood. Also, if that really were the case, she'd be admitted to the hospital rather than being sent home. Gorl's a lah
I had a friend who was diagnosed with sepsis and was sent home 🤯 She might not be lying and she could’ve gone to a hospital/ doctor that wasn’t competent. 🤷🏻♀️

@@elizabethcook9310yep me too. I didn't have a highly elevated level of infection, so they gave me pills and sent me hone. I insisted they look at my file where I just had two recent sepses due to a very resistant bacteria. (not MRSA) and to please put me on IV antibiotics. Eventually they did and sent me off and let my own doc handle it the next day (who had told me I was fine the day before when the first symptoms already happened but wasn't visible in bloodwork or ultrasound. I ended up at the ER the same evening, so it happened rather quick. But I ended up 10days on IV, then 4 days to check if I kept doing okay as this was the third time after just about 4 days home to be readmitted and get another round of AB. That was the last time, luckily. But I did have to really convince the ER doc and I am happy they listened because I don't know what would have happened if I had gone home.
You should be more concerned with bacteria in your blood than a high WBC, generally speaking. Not that the latter is good, but it being in your blood means you are in sepsis and that is pretty darn ass serious.

Being unclean, sitting constantly and holding her bladder for too long are all the causes. I have the exact opposite body of Amber but I’m genetically prone to them on both sides of the family, so I’m all too familiar. Gotta bathe, get up and move, and DRINK WATER.

Each time I have to give blood they have a hard time finding a vein. When I had to get surgery once they couldn’t find my vein to place the iv in so they had to use an ultrasound and located one😅
They just keep on pokeeeen and it’s excruciatingly traumatic to our gorl. Nobody else has ever gone to the dr before.

Ngl there was one time in high school I had a fever and I kept blacking out every time I stood up. I ended up laid out on the couch just sobbing because I really felt like I was gonna die. I was also told to stop being dramatic, but like shit was scary 😭🤣
I would think it would be so much harder to get up and down from the floor than to stand up out of a chair. There is something I am not understanding about this, unless she rarely got up at all
It was harder at a chair because she wouldn't have anything to rest her weight on as she pushed herself up...she can't use the table because it would lift if she leaned on it.. whereas on the floor she can get on her knees .. take a break... Use the couch to lean on while she gets herself up, and doesn't have to worry about anything being behind her or around her that she could trip on

Her high white blood cell count and bladder infection were, in fact, uterine cancer. This was all leading up to her cancer diagnosis. Some women believe they are having a UTI when it's an issue with their reproductive organs.

The fact she was shocked about the toenail drama absolutley astounds me, we've seen her unclipped trotters, we know full well she hasn't cut her toenails since she was 16, that's the last time she saw them.

I have worked in Dermatology 16 years and Cardiology for 6 years before that. Cellulitis is because she lost her toenail, not because she’s “gross” or “obese”. My son’s Dad has gotten it twice from wounds from work and he is extremely clean. I got it in high school in my wrist and had no wound or injury and I am very clean and wasn’t obese…..then. My 3 year old got it when he had a healing scrape on his foot that I kept clean. Some people are more susceptible to cellulitis.The first round of antibiotics didn’t work because it was given to her for a UTI and those aren’t as strong as ones for Cellulitis. My son’s dad was in the hospital for a week on IV antibiotics and pain killers, it is very hard to get rid of sometimes.
I can just imagine the obscenities Ricky was muttering under his breath when he moved that mattress 😂😂 and Eric just saying what he’s thinking but adding a real life ‘lol’ tone to it 😂
Using a mattress as a chair alone should be the biggest sign that you need to lose weight.

what do you mean? your bladder is part of your urinary tract, it's not just your urethra. They call it a UTI if it is in any part of this tract, from kidneys to urethers to bladder to urethra. Bladder infections are not usually a little more serious as a UTI can also refer to a kidneyinfection. Now THAT would be a little more serious, those can cause sepsis, which happened to me. Bladderinfections are usually seen as "simple" in (young) women. There are factors that say it is complex, such as being male. For males it may be a bit more serious because it is already harder to even get a UTI, so a bladderinfection could be a bit more serious or harder to treat. Men typically have longer antibioticcourses than women.
But bladderinfections fall under UTI so again, they are not "a little more serious than a UTI".

One of the causes or risk factors is inadequate wound care and bad hygiene. Yes, skinny people can get it, but we all know why it is more prominent in obese people. She does not need to make excuses

Salty, I’m so depressed. I’ve been having the worst day I’ve had in such a long time and this video reminded me that a horrible person , with no skills makes more money off UA-cam than I’ve made trying to do everything the right way. At first this depressed me more but maybe - just maybe if this girl can find something that makes her life bearable - maybe I can too. And at least I treat the people in my life better and I’ll never end up like this
❤ I think I heard this from a motivational speaker, "Success is progress towards a worthwhile goal". That makes a lot of sense and puts some pieces of the puzzle of life together for me. It's always bothered me when people assume what others would value and respect, that everyone shares just one definition of success. This quote gave me some relief. We get to set our own goals based on what we believe. And notice he didn't say how much progress- just as long as it's in that direction. comparing your income to Amber's is meaningless as that's that's not how you'd want to make a living anyway; to have millions of people you don't even know gawk and stare and despise you. Be thankful you didn't wind up with that life.

Yall... As someone training in the medical field, the nurse who found a vein to place the IV deserves a goddamn medal. It's always so difficult to help or revive obese patients. Diet and lifestyle is a ridiculously important risk factor. You can drown patients in antibiotics and supplements, but you can't really help them if they're compromised in the first place, like putting tape on broken dam. Also, for ALR's case, the most likely cause of her UTI is her holding in her pee. Combined with the poor hygiene and poor immune system, an inflated bladder causes injury to its walls, and the collected fluid serves as a good culturing environment for bacteria.
