Hello! I'm a person who uses Orlistat for a while. I lost 0.8kg/week of using. Here's some things to know to make the most of Orlistat ( based on my experience?) -make sure you exercise.. Only for 30 minutes is also okay! ( I walk on treadmils for 30 minutes with incline 10 speed 3.7, or walk for at least 5000 steps a day ) -Olistat MOSTLY absorbs digestive enzymes (lipase-colipased). So when choosing a diet plan, try to make it as close to your "eating normal" as much as possible. INCLUDE some fats in your meal for it to work! Ortherwise Orlistat is kinda useless if you 're undereating/ no fats in your meals - If you want to, have LECITHINs ! For me, is Orlistat - wait 15 mins - meals - wait 15 mins - Lecithin pills. Lecithin speeds up your metabolism and is a wonderful combination with Orlistat. - At the end of the day, if possible, let yourself get some VITAMINS, Orlistat slows down your body absorption of nutrients. So multi-vitamin pills might help with that and fight the side effects. -If you don't have side effects its okay to not have vitamins ( I don't bc I dont have any bad side effects on me and i. Doing fine) *OTHER TIPS FOR ORLISTATS I have: - Orlistat slows your bowel movements, so if possible, try to do your number 2 first thing in the morning. You can control it if you let it out on your own terms so it wont makes you burst your a-hole as some unexpected moment😢 -Drink hot water right before meal! It helps burn the calories fast, and do throughout the day with cold water, this sped up your metabolism a lot - I don't know how, but black non sugar coffee really helps with weight loss☕, if ypu drink it at some point of the day better with ice, if before meal (only breakfast) then id recommend do it with hot coffee first. -NO ALCOHOL! With Orlistat itd ruin your body..

@@dannykirsch You will, but the med will potentialize that as it will not allow your body to absorb even that tiny amount of fat. The long term results are significant when compared to only diet+exercises. It's a complement.

Im starting this today Alli So Ideally Im to take 2 pills per meal to get the full benefits. I am 168 pounds which is obese for my 5'2 frame Im hoping to drop 15 pounds. I dont have a gallbladder so I am hoping this works for me. 15g fat per meal is what Ive read from many people I will check back in a month and update you. My biggest down fall is sugar, but I do tend to eat alot of meat, heavy cream in my coffee so this will be a learning curve for me.

Yeah I only eat once a day for the most part. I've been that way a lot throughout my life and may snack here and there and eat twice (small meals sometimes but not often) so I'm on day 3 of a 30 day supply I don't plan on doing anymore than 30 pills. This is just a booster for me temporarily. It took me a long time to finally decide to try these bc a few people I know have either lost all of their hair while taking these or their hair has thinned out terribly but to answer your question, it only works with food in your stomach from what I hear so I take it once a day

Because all is available without prescription and orlistat is double the strength. You could double the dose of alli to make it the same strength as orlistat as they all contain the same thing

What a misleading response. Orlistat will NOT "burn" body fat if you don't eat fat. It works by sticking onto the fat in your gut from the food you do eat, that's why you take it with food. Eg if you eat a plain salad, you do not need to take Orlistat, there will not be any fat in the plain leafy salad the Orlistat can bind to.

It stays in the GI tract to block fat absorption by binding to an enzyme there. It doesn't work on burning existing fat, but if you're absorbing less fat, then your metabolism becomes free to work on burning what you've got stored.

@@cutekittycat521 it's definitely possible but it's not going to be easy bc there will be consequences if you eat more than 15-20 grams of fat in one meal. I think the pill works for people by mostly becoming a deterrent. Because people want to avoid those consequences. It sort of forces them to eat far far far fewer grams of fat than they normally would and then THAT results in the majority of weight loss. It's an accountability pill that's going to have you pooping roughly 50 calories of fat out per 15 grams of fat consumed. That's an extra 150 calories per day on top of whatever caloric deficit you're in from cutting your fat intake. It's not a whole lot in the grand scheme but it will be more than just diet alone. If you cheat you will have oily orange poop grease leaking from you without you having any control. Wear black and wear an adult diaper.
I started taking it yesterday & still no oily stool or oil coming out. I take it like 5 mins before every meal, I don't know the reason why is not working😔
You're not meant to get oil leaking out! Or when you go to the bathroom! It's a side effect of TOO much oil whist taking the drug! Aim low fat, below 15g per meal and you won't get oil.
I couldn’t go to a function because I was just to worried. Haven’t had any problems, but just didn’t want to risk it. Next time I’ll give myself a good 3 days without it before the function.

I heard that the multivitamin will not work well without having it with fat, however Orlistat as well should be taken within 1 hour as you have mentioned.
Most people are suggested to take their vitamins away from orlistat. In this case, you could have your vitamins before bed.

It doesn't remove existing fat. It only blocks the fat you eat with it.

Orlistat may block some absorption. It might also cause some indigestion and diarrhea if you take them together.

Changes in your stool is common with orlistat, however you should check with your doctor to be safe.

If you eat at a calorie deficit, yes your body should burn body fat.
What a misleading response. Orlistat will NOT "burn" body fat if you don't eat fat. It works by sticking onto the fat in your gut from the food you do eat, that's why you take it with food. Eg if you eat a plain salad, you do not need to take Orlistat, there will not be any fat in the plain leafy salad the Orlistat can bind to.

It stays in the GI tract to block fat absorption by binding to an enzyme there. It doesn't work on burning existing fat, but if you're absorbing less fat, then your metabolism becomes free to work on burning what you've got stored.

@@cutekittycat521 it's definitely possible but it's not going to be easy bc there will be consequences if you eat more than 15-20 grams of fat in one meal. I think the pill works for people by mostly becoming a deterrent. Because people want to avoid those consequences. It sort of forces them to eat far far far fewer grams of fat than they normally would and then THAT results in the majority of weight loss. It's an accountability pill that's going to have you pooping roughly 50 calories of fat out per 15 grams of fat consumed. That's an extra 150 calories per day on top of whatever caloric deficit you're in from cutting your fat intake. It's not a whole lot in the grand scheme but it will be more than just diet alone. If you cheat you will have oily orange poop grease leaking from you without you having any control. Wear black and wear an adult diaper.

Practically speaking, yes. Xenical is the brand name, but both are orlistat.
Take it either way. You'll see lots of dark orange OIL that your body expels and that is great!!!!!!!!!

You're not meant to get oil leaking out! Or when you go to the bathroom! It's a side effect of TOO much oil whist taking the drug! Aim low fat, below 15g per meal and you won't get oil.

I couldn’t go to a function because I was just to worried. Haven’t had any problems, but just didn’t want to risk it. Next time I’ll give myself a good 3 days without it before the function.
