very informative i used topamax for migraines years back and i lost so much weight and as soon as i couldnt afford the co pay i just quit cold turkey ..now im prescriped contrave..ill let you know how it goes..

It has it's pros and cons. Definitely one if your not use to stimulants ease into it and not take the full dose immediately. Dr might suggest to take half bc they are made to be broke in half in tablet form.
There’s one more to add to the list soon: Rybelsus (oral semaglutide), with new, higher doses (25 and 50mg), should be receiving FDA-approval for obesity later this year. First oral GLP-1 to receive that indication. 🌟

I have been taking phentermine for 2 months with no problems. I am 26. All of a sudden I have chest pain and throat is so tight it hurts to breathe in. My heart is beating very fast.
I hate food. I don't understand how people enjoy chewing and swallowing food. I find it easy to keep slim. If I could eat grass I would. I find food repulsive.

But the weight-loss is minimal, and the potential side effects are highly embarrassing and messy. 😢 Personally, if you were looking for something relatively cheap (aka a non-GLP-1), yet fairly effective, I’d talk with your doctor about Contrave or Qsymia. Assuming you don’t have any contraindications, that’d seem to be a good path to do some research on and see. 🤔 The newer GLP-1s will usually be better for weight-loss (for most, but not all ppl), but are very expensive and frequently in shortage. 🤬

Phentermine worked for me..but the side effect was massive..never trying it again.

Noticed with Qsymia didn't have that rebound effect. Where as soon as you stop it you gain dbl.the weight bk.
