I have a stoopid question may be SO i have a 1TB SSD Nvme on motherboard. I have most improtant Softwares installed on this NVM SSD I want Additional 1TB SSD or HDD internal for storage and secondary tasks, If i install HDD will i be able to partition it and will it show up a DRIVE? How is it different from external one ?
I am building a Computer with the Montech King Pro 95 and according to newegg, it indicates there is up to eight 3.5" bays, but I don't see any where to install these HDD's in that case.
I have a hybrid bay type, I guess. Annoying part is that the bay slides out of the glass side, not the plate side. So I have to take the tray out of one side, put the HDD in, slide it back in the one side, then open the other side and screw with the wires. ... Then go back in the glass side to connect the data cable.
Hey thanks for your video but when i started the diskmanager he instantly asked me to initialize a new harddrive and asked me if i want MBR or GPT....when i closed this window to do what you showed, "new simple volume" was greyed out.

I've heard some people in forums say that you have to be careful with which sata cable you get to make sure it matches the machine you're using like in terms of provider or brand or something? they claim it can damage the components if the wrong on is used. Is this true? or are all sata cables safe to use?
i have one problem. I have a case on my power supply and i dont think i have it already plugged in, but i have the power cable seperatly. I dont know how i can plug it in the power supply, i have to take off the case??? or something else?? (im talking abt the sata power cable)
when i plugged my HDD in my monitor said no signal after plugging it back in, so then i plugged my SSD back in and my computer showed up on the monitor.. is it a bad HDD?
