My buddy just replaced this module and his truck fired right up after I forwarded this video. He was panicking about getting to work tomorrow and a 60 dollar part fixed his problem before the dealership wanted 1000+. Thanks OP
Just did the FPDM in my 2013 F-150 FX4. Had a dealership tell me it was the pump itself, so glad I didn't listen to them! 10 minutes of work, and the truck started right up, thanks for making this vid!

I replaced it about a year ago. Truck is now doing the same thing. Did the fuse 27 swap but still not starting (Crank, no start). Is there a way to test this module to see if its bad before I go buy a new one?
I'm dealing with a 2013 that had blew fuse 27 (fuel pump) used starter fluid to get it going until I could replace it. Worked fine but once in a while not start but crank, then fire right up. Now its cold it may take a few primes of ignition to get it started but after that it runs and drives fine. No codes, hope this works.
I just changed pump my 09 f150 xlt 5.4 started ran for a second and died now i got crank no start im not sure where the pressure sensor is there isnt one on fuel rail but seems like it is not getting fuel i can hear the pump come on though when i turn the key
But why does fuse 27 blow up , I’m modded (2012 5.0 ram air intake boss mani headers and tune. I believe I’m having this issue along with fuse 27 melting but thing is I never had this problem when stock
I can not get it to unclip Update. I got it unclipped it was packed with red clay dirt. Had to tap it till I shook all the dirt loose. Horrible location for the thing!
Take a look at the canister purge valve. I was having similar issues, as well as not starting after fueling and that fixed it. Part # CX2695 for a 2014 5.0

Cleaned throttle body and sensors. Found this did the job perfect, thank you.
Fuse was burnt but wasn’t the issue, tried the module next and that was it. Thank you!
Shit mine was burnt too I switched and still no start , fuel pump wouldn’t be a complete loss of money tho my gauge doesn’t work

Same thing for me on ‘14. I did the same until I I replaced the fpd. Time will tell i guess.

how did you know for sure it was the module? My truck turns over but its not starting. Everything sounds normal but not catching.

Most likely not. Probably a stuck float on the in-tank pump assembly
