2006 4.7L had 275 horsepower and 2007 4.7L had 268 horsepower due to SAE testing showing the decrease in horsepower inline with changed testing methods. The 1998-2005 4.7L has 235 horsepower.

THANK YOU for the SUPER review--- I was looking at a GX470 but I think I like this better and i will NOT be doing any "rock crawling" but only light to basci 4 wheeling on basic service roads--and for snow here during winter..
The LX470 is objectively better than the GX470, but one could argue that the kdss equipped gx460 is better at off road however the LX leads in payload capacity and cargo space.
The j100 never had front locking diffs, ONLY some had rear lockers in the 98-99 model range.
