Didn't realize the app only had the option to start charging (and not set a charging window) until after signing up for a new electric plan that gave me "free" charing from midnight to 3 am. Saved me a few hundred bucks as I will not need to buy the gen 3 wall connector and use my current gen 1 to charge at 48 amps. I plan on using the app to start the charge and use the iOS shortcut/automation for stopping charge.
wall connector has the best way… no confusing nonsense. Start charging/ End charging. Mostly everyone will want to start and stop charging and just want a simple time window that can be set. This is where too many tech heads end up in a room OVER DOING IT with all the tech and forget the best way is the easy str8 fwd way.
