Informative video from the case study. Could you please make videos on how a student explain he will come back to home country after his study diploma programs
This could take me awhile to do because there’s various ways to cut the cake but I’ll put a tab on it and see what I can do :) thank you for your kind suggestion!
He has up to 1year tuition costs ready and the business will keep providing for the rest of the family and his second year. I've seen people approved for less
Yes, no visa officer looks at a file the same and some can get away with less! But there were other aspects in the application that led to the refusal but the focal point in this video was the proof of funds. It’s not to discourage prospective but provide insight on how they can better their application. Appreciate your comment tho! ☺️

Can you make a dedicate video on "How you will explain visa officer that you will leave the country at end of the course, when your intentions is to get Canadian PR." As I always mention can't resist to say "Love your expression & style of presentation" 🤩❤😍
Hi Rachel, Thank you very much for the information. I have been living a frugal life and saving for my Master 's fee. Your information helped me what I need to keep in mind :) Thank you so much and happy weekend :)

Yes i got my approval, its abit tricky to know which section in your application are wrong. I recommend you guys seek help by certified agents to help you guys through the process.
This is clearly under the required amount. $700000 cad doesn't count here. Because those properties need to be sold to pay for that. Which is neither quick not a guarantee to sufficient proof of funds.
can you make a video about the authorities that want to see your proof of intentions to leave canada after studies when you actually want to stay for pgwp ?
I applied for a visitor visa, I proved I had 16,000 CAD plus 4,000 USD in Paypal. In addition, I proved that I own an apt and a store which pays taxes etc... guess what ? I was refused lol
It’s so weird… I have a friend who is currently studying at Lambton (same 2yr diploma program) but her proof of funds are only around 500K Philippine Peso and no sponsor, but her visa was approved. 🤔 Is it because of her well written SOP or something else?
It could be several factors and also depends on the visa officer reviewing her file. Not all visa officers look at a file the same. But I’m glad it worked out well for your friend! ❤️
hi! did you have financial evidence that would cover your tuition and living expenses during your 2 year program (im just assuming you studied a diploma please correct me if im wrong) when you applied for your study permit?
This video is meant for me. im also Nigerian and my study permit application was denied September 1st because of this exact statement "I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status." I would love if you can explain more on this
I'm going to study a 4 year program , and I showed pof for a year only and my study permit got approved. I showed funds for my whole year including, tuition and living expenses. IRCC recommend to have 10,000 CAD on top of your tuition fees.
@@digitialdriver5252 yes! My tuition fee for the whole year was 15,080 CAD, and I showed that I had paid for my first semester and that was around 8,270 CAD. I showed the whole amount from my LOA and not from the website

They are based in Scotland and have business. They just sent me few documentation, from which bank statements says 170 000 Pounds in savings and a million in assets. What do you think about my chances of getting a visa
As far as I know you do graphic designing right? And if so...can you give me an honest review whether taking graphic designing as a career a good choice or not
Honestly, I wasn’t able to find a job using the education I got in Canada. Due to time pressure, I had to hop on the first skilled job that I managed to get - which was not related to graphic design at all. I am now learning to apply those skills in what I currently do as a content creator. But your circumstances may be different from mine. As far as I know, it is an in-demand job here in Vancouver (to say the least) as most businesses heavily rely on getting their word across through digital means. So still worth pursuing (especially if you like it :P)
From my perspective, it hard to explain to return home country after diploma. As all we know diploma is low cost area for international students and after completing they pursue for PR??
I didn't understand total cost is 24000 Canadian Dollar but how it came out in x2 49000 Canadian dollar . Can you please just explain me that I can calculate my one
Cost is usually given for 1 year. Total cost is calculated based on the duration of the program. Here it is a 2 year program. Hope that answers your question
For a 2 year program, is it required to show proof of funds for 2 year tuition fee and 2 years cost of living even when I’m applying with my husband (sp + owp)?
Generally, it’s better to show at least that amount or over. Because the main concern the visa officer will have is if you will be able to financially support yourself and your family during your stay. We can’t rely on future income bc we don’t know what lies ahead. So in the POV of the visa officer they want to see if you can manage from the get go, so you won’t be financially vulnerable in a new country.
I hope i don’t get denied because I’m using my Post 9/11 GI bill (educational benefit for American Veterans) that can be used at any school of my choosing. So my education will be paid for me by the Veterans affairs here in the states.
You can always make a reapplication but consider addressing the problems in your previous refusal. Take note, your immigration history is on record - and some visa officers consider that as a factor in the decision process for your new application.
My questions are 1. Why they want students to leave Canada after completing their education? Canada is an immigration friendly country right? 2. Can education loan (enough amount for 2 years tution+misc expenses) statements from bank also lead to visa rejection?
Hello. These are just my two cents for this questions. 1. I believe the reason that they want students or they want to be ensured that students will leave after they graduated is because the reason was to only study in Canada. Not because they want to live there(well we all know that it’s one way and one step to get a score for PR application). Just like various VISA applications, you have to ensure them that you won’t be staying there for other purposes other than studying. Canada is is an immigration friendly country, yes, but you still have to proof clean intentions upon visiting the country. 2. I believe, yes. Because that just means that you/your sponsor doesnt actually have the capacity to support your stay in the country. I believe you have to show proof that the money you have was accumulated over the years or there is a in/out cash flow. Not just a one bulk of cash deposit in one time. Cause there were some cases that the money was just put there in the account just to show proof of funds, but once approved, it will be returned to the owner, meaning it’s just for show. You have to proof that you have the capacity to be able to sustain your finances and study in Canada and won’t be doing any illegal stuff to acquire money. I hoped I helped :)
Additional for question 1, since you are applying for a Student Visa, you really have to proof that you are just going to study and would go home after the study period, no other intentions. If you plan to pursue and apply for PR afterwards, you still can do it. The immigration officer already know that you are planning to get a PR in Canada since being an international is one of the steps to get a score, and most use these approach. You just have to proof that you are not planning to do anything other than being a student. Once your Visa is approved, they cant stop you for your next steps :)
