The one issue I actually had with Cold War was that it's campaign was extremely short. It can literally be completed in like a few hours. Compare it to Black Ops 1 and 2, and it really shows how short the campaign is. Granted, they seem to have sacrificed the length for options and details, but still, when playing as a customized character for the second time in CoD, I'd have liked to spend more time as them before getting shot.
This is facts I feel like there should have been something where bell has to be a one man show and destroy the CIA and Perseus after Adler tries to kill him

If you pay attention to how Mason talks to Bell you can see how he talks to them like he felt bad, like he knew what Bell is going through

Mason and Woods weren't aware that Bell had been brainwashed.
I think they were because we played as Mason in the first campaign mission alongside Adler and Woods. They knew, but didnt partake in the actual process like Park and Sims did

I love the parallels that the stories have, with Cold War being unique but also a sort of love letter to the original Black Ops. And the fact that this combines the worlds of Black Ops with the new Modern Warfare, whose campaign I also loved for its homages to CoD 4.

The Ending was overwhelming I didn’t like how we didn’t encounter Pearsus ONCE!
Perseus isn't just one person, as he said once you get on his side (Very bad ending). Besides, you could have them meet, but in exchange you have to kill Park, Mason, Woods, and Andler.

The campaign was a solid 9/10 it would be 10 but the story wasn’t that long which I didn’t really like.

Zombies innovated with Easter eggs , multiplayer community was great wager matches, and campaign was the best story of alllll the cods. Just wish Cold War would add more frequently and I love the Stitch B01 reference from Rebirth but the warzone map isn’t rebirth it’s Alcatraz. This just seemed really rushed and it’s a really corny rip off of B01 with bad characters and lines

And yeah I fully agree with you the campaign felt so rushed and the corny lines were just bad. cold war's mp is mediocre, it has some great maps and stuff but it has sbmm and a slow progression system to grind for a ttachments and stuff.....
No kidding Cold War multiplayer and the skill based match making makes it unplayable it’s so trash
The Cold War campaign honestly surprised me with how good it was, fantastic follow up to the bo1 campaign and the ost probably the best since Bo2 if not even better

Identical or not the Campaign was incredible. Loved the references to black ops 1, 2 and 3 and some of the horror elements they added and the different endings. I hope they make a sequel to cold war that takes place during the years Mason went missing after his "death"

I honestly liked the second option in Cold War of killing Adler and the rest ( I know I love woods and mason ) but the replaced mason so woods was the sacrifice of my loyalty and that ending is much better in my opinion

Its a possibility however, they never gave us a clue or statement that indicated that either Mason or Woods knew about Bell’s brainwash

One of my favorite similarities is how in Black Ops, the way Woods saves Mason after they repel out of the crashing helicopter into the Viet Cong occupied building is the exact same way Woods saves Bell when they infiltrate the Russian base and Bell gets clobbered by a Russian Gaurd. Both times, Woods kicks the gun out of the person aiming at our Main Character and snaps his neck.

I feel like due to Cold War being taken over by Treyarch from sledgehammer, as well as the challenges the game developers faced during the COVID pandemic, I think this was done on purpose, but I still think it's a great game and there were a lot of features I found to be fascinating in the campaign!

Loved the campaign, loved the replay-ability and loved the twist that Bell was actually a bad guy. That's what caught me.
There’s a part with Charkov in the mission where you have the choice to kill or frame him. When he’s on the phone when you meet him to poison him, he references a “Nikita” on the phone. In the next installment on the Black Ops campaign, I predict that Dragovich makes a return into the story. Just a theory, probably wrong 😂

I had recently picked up cold war, I bought it on Tuesday and beat it yesterday/wednesday. I lobed the game and found it fun especially going back to yamantau and playing as mason and getting to see the numbers for a bit. I do hope we get another black ops game featuring Alex mason

The weird part for me in Cold War was that Mason was ok with bell getting brainwashed. At this point he already saw what could happen if the brainwashing went wrong and still worked towards it. Outside of that, I feel like the campaigns are getting shorter and shorter which is sad if it’s true.

Pretty sure that’s cause this game was gonna be just cod: Cold War with sledgehammer and Raven and have a similar story outside of black ops universe but when treyarch took over they just shifted it into a black ops story hence why the og characters play minor roles there just shoved in to a already planned out story

I got the same experience I did with BO1
And the WTF moment hit me just as hard as it did with BO1, just wish the campaign was longer and that we would get to see the original voice actors for mason and woods

I liked the finisher maneuver where you can kill them or use them as a shield and I hope that comes back
They just need to bring bo1 back so many great memories and hours spent on that game
