I feel you, man. As a viewer I felt the void that Andre's passing left as well. However, Andre was part of the channel, for that reason only it is important to grow within the channel you've made together, imo. Don't delete what was the two of you together, just evolve.
You'll find your footing again, but pain like this takes a long time to deal with. It doesn't heal (time doesn't heal shit), but you'll find a way to give it a place in your soul, wounded as it is. I'm saying this from experience. Grief can paralyse and hurt badly. The why, cripples just as badly, even though God works in mysterious ways. A big digital hug from the Netherlands. I hope you and your family will find a way to deal with this pain and you'll be a massive content creator in 5 years, with Andre standing by in spirit. I know he, and his big smile, is still with you. ❤🩹

Having fun doesn't mean you're not still grieving. But grief is love persevering, man. It just means he's with us. Of course creating is a thing that comes from the heart, and it's not easy to do when your heart is broken. Burnout is also very real, so if you need to take breaks or reduce your upload schedule or anything, never feel pressure from us, we want what is best for you too :) I think it would be a shame if you quit, we would miss you, but life comes in phases and nothing lasts forever.
I joined the channel for your Wheel of Time coverage and had such a good time watching you all enjoy the world that I love so much. Andre was such a a great part of that, his insight and intuition were so strong and his heart and wit were obviously both bottomless. He is missed always. My family does a toast on special occasions for our loved ones who are no longer with us or too far to join us: "To Absent Comrades" Dre now has a place in my toast tonight.

I started watching your channel when you and Andre did your Squid Game reactions, and since then have occasionally checked back to watch your other reactions that piqued my interest. I didn't realize Andre had passed until this video though. Absolutely heartbreaking. Andre was amazing and so damn funny. His laugh was pure joy and always made me smile. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you keep going though, since your reactions continue to bring joy to so many, myself included.
I lost my mother a few days ago, so I can definately relate wanting to remember and honor someone you love.

I recommend watching not so niche series and movies, I know I'd definitely love the humor on some classics like Pretty Woman or Peaky Blinders & see y'all tear a new on Julie Plec with the Vampire Diaries series. You guys have something real & special in a nihilistic world, don't let that ember die.
Thank you for making this video. The genuine friendship and reactions are why I initially started to watch, but it's how real and thoughtful you are here that hit me hardest. What you said about working on projects and not necessarily getting to finish with those you started and appreciating those around you and continuing to find worth helps. I just want to say how happy I am I discovered this channel through your WOT reactions. 2023 was an extremely tough year for me too but looking forward to your content did in some small way help to relieve the stress and anxiety. I loved your reactions to season 1 so much, I was just as excited for your reactions to season 2 as I was for the actual show. What you guys have been doing does make a difference; there's so much negativity on this platform so I truly appreciate this channel being an antidote to all of that even when you discuss more serious topics. I can't express how sorry I am about Andre's passing - I lost a friend unexpectedly back in 2021 and although we weren't super close it still left a hole that to this day I can't really ignore. That made it difficult to fathom losing friends that I have an even deeper relationship with. The healing process is never linear but I'd like to think he's still with you in spirit as you continue on with the channel. I think you're carrying on his legacy in some way and as tough as it's been I'm so glad you've stuck around. I wish the best for all of you in 2024 and pray that this year brings less stress and sadness and more peace for you guys ❤

This is the first video I've seen from this channel, idk why it was randomly in my fyp but I've lost important people too so I just wanna say that sadness and depression don't look the same day to day. You can be at your lowest point and laugh or your highest point and cry. I try to remind myself every morning that the people I love knew how much I loved them and that they loved me, and that alone makes their loss a celebration of life. Because how fortunate were we to have had those people in our little lives? Healing isn't letting go or moving on; healing is acknowledging your hurt and loss, understanding that it's a reminder of love and not the absence of it and moving forward with it in your heart. 💜

Like many, I found y'all through Wheel of Time during season 1 and you guys had the most amazing rapport. When I found out about Andre, I was shocked and saddened and I'm sure that was only the TINIEST bit of how you were feeling. This season's reactions was definitely different without him, but it was my most anticipated to watch (Watch the episode, the next day start refreshing for the reaction from you all!).
I'm glad you are taking time to reflect. Grieve. And the grief will never be gone completely, though you learn to live with it. Be inspired by it. And grow with it - even if it is so incredibly hard. Y'all are amazing. Remember that.

It is so hard to lose someone. And if you feel you need to step away from the channel for a while, don’t hesitate. You need to take care of yourself and your emotional health. Adison, Happy New Year, This has been a very tough year for a lot of people. You lost Andre. I am 73 and this year my kidneys failed, and a very rare condition made it necessary for my right foot to be amputated. . At one point I was close to checking our due to multiple infections. We never know when life is going to kick us in the teeth, But its how we deal with adversity and loss that's important. You have a ton of people pulling for you and supporting you. So when those rough times hit, and they will, let those 40k people who care a lot about you lift you up.
Please don't quit the channel.... you are way too talented and entertaining. Best reactions on UA-cam by a mile!

She was my best friend and had been eith me since I was just a little kid. It comes in waves and it never goes away, but little by little we learn to let go of the pain and look back with fondness. I started my journey with this channel during your Hellbound reactions and the chemistry between yourself and Andre was what made me stay. I remember when his dance video was uploaded and how absolutely blown away I was by his talent. It was the next day when you announced of his tragic passing. I only have a parasocial relationship with you all but his loss was nonetheless devastating and felt. I was genuinely surprised this channel /seemingly/ bounced back into putting out content and can only imagine the struggle and how difficult it was to keep moving forward. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend I did wonder what happened and why he was not there for your GOT reactions. I lost my childhood best friend since we were six years old and I am now 55. She is gone 10 years now and I still miss her and talk to her everyday. He is a part of you and always will be. You will find yourself missing him even more during big milestones in your life like birthdays, weddings , or birth of a child! That just means he is still with you still loving you as much as you love him. Notice I said love present tense because death does not remove the love and what you mean to each other. God is PURE LOVE. I am glad you are still moving g ahead with your channel he would want everything g that is good for you. Bro, I'm so sorry. I lost my best friend in 2011. Very suddenly, very unexpectedly. Dude, it takes SO much time to recover. You'll never fully be over it, of course, but it does get better. My sincerest condolences to you and yours and by extension his, I can only imagine the pain of loss to that extent but i know a little of how it feels when a good man is gone before his time. It has been a tough 2023 for sure, and I wanna say Thank You, Adison, for sticking with us and the channel. I’ve been proud to support since Shadow & Bone S1 (Netflix did us dirty) and the family has come so far! Seeing you carry the torch after Dre (RIP, always missed) passed away has been inspiring, plus expanding the family and trying new genres & collabs. Losing the ones we love most is beyond hard. Grief is not a straight line. Seeing you still having fun moments on camera has been great - best example was your reaction to the WoT S2 announcement 😆! That’s the unique thing. I caught onto your channel because I check out all the Harry Potter reactions. That's what brought me here. And after watching the first two HP reactions, I went looking to see more. I loved how you seemed right in tune with the story, right on top of the wisdom woven through that saga.
I am so sorry for your loss. It's the nature of things that life is a gift, but it's still only on loan. We all have to let it go one day, and we practice for that by the losses we suffer on the way to our own end. The things that last are the immaterial. I am just so sorry you had to begin that experience so early in your life.
I hope you continue with the HP reactions. It will be hard at times; Harry goes through loss, but he presses onward. There is so much that seems to resonate with you, you understand the story SO well. I hope you will see it through to the 8th film. And not only do I recommend it for you for your own sake, but I have to say watching how you react and even seem to see what's coming, it's very comforting to me. Too many people these days are unbalanced. They compensate for what they believe are faults. They try to be someone they're not. They treat gentleness as a weakness instead of a strength. But I see a confidence in you, an accepting spirit, and a wisdom and humanity that is reassuring to see in one so young. So sorry for your loss Brother. I miss him too. He must have meant so much to you. He is still sitting next to you in every video talking all that mess and enjoying those shows with someone that meant so much to him. I Hope this new year holds more smiles than tears for us all.
Thanks for being so open with us. Grief is a very difficult thing to navigate and it never really goes away. I lost my father some years back and you really just have to take it a day at a time, embrace all the memories (the good and the bad) and never stop talking/thinking about Andre because he'll always be with you. I pray this year is a blessed year for you and yours, remember that even in the dark moments God is walking alongside you (although it may not always feel like it). Live in the moment always.
I just found your channel, I didn’t know your friend but this was a beautiful video. I think he’d be proud of it. Honestly I feel like we get caught up in making things sleek and clean and marketable etc but you lose something in that, the humanity, the reality, the interesting messy bits that we get attached to when watching your content. I think it’s lovely that you are keeping Andre around, I really enjoy that he’s still part of your channel. It sounds silly but I do worry about the creators I like and their relationship with their channel growth. But this was an extremely refreshing perspective!!! I’m glad you aren’t fixating on your analytics!! Because from what I can tell, you make really insightful and authentic videos and that’s something to be proud of.
