I have built about 10 boards and more than half are silent. The best switches I’ve found were the nightcall linear. Loved this build!
I can’t find “nightcall” switches. Do you mean nightshade?

I've been loving the WS Light Tactile silent a lot. They have great feel and a really nice bottom out. No mush, no noise, factory lubed. Currently have them in a QK65 and it's a jam.

Great video, not sure I could do a silent board though as tweaking the sound and hearing the different results is one of the primary reasons I enjoy building keyboard. Thankfully I work from remote most of the time but do keep a nice thocky but not too loud 65% to take with me if working at a customer site. So far it hasn't annoyed anyone yet! Congrats on 80K Subs!

Love your content and this video was very nice. Please please please get a larger tank for your poor Betta. It's very often pushed by stores that they can fit in tiny tanks, but they require a bare minimum of 5 gallons to have a healthy full life. Anything smaller is detrimental to their health regardless of how they appear; also an air pump and/or filter is usually highly recommended for them even if their water appears clean.
I don't intend to come off as a hater, I do genuinely enjoy your videos, just as an animal lover it hurts to see a Betta jammed into such a tiny setup.
Edit: Just saw your reply to someone else; I'm stoked to read that you got your fish a larger tank!! Thank you so much and I'm sure your Betta is much happier too! :)

When they say 'silent' - they don't mean 'silent' as such, right? Although - I'm impressed with the substantial reduction in noise from those new switches. Very nicely done.

Wow those silent kits sound amazing but i hate that system - i prefer the much simpler system of my old Logitech keyboard K120, coz that system looks so complicated - Each key having so many components, mechanical and electrical (those prongs) ....eesh... I mean that just means more things that can go wrong! No?

My biggest gripe with custom keyboards is that most of them come with a US layout. How does one get a keyboard with EU layout and keycaps in their language?
For my silent board, I'm using Haimu x Geon HG Red Silent reds. They're like half the cost of the Lichicx switches

I don’t know if any keyboard can really be called a productivity keyboard without a split spacebar… the gains are just so massive compared to stuff like a volume dial

One thing i realize is that with this board, using a translucent/shine through Wrist rest is going to slap.

Quite a stupid comment. I don't understand the cult of people trying to make keyboards as loud and annoying as possible.
Especially if someone on a call with an extremely loud keyboard.
