- An enjoyable hours session spent at the rather charming station of Chislehurst on the South Eastern Mainline where we see plenty of services from Southeastern.
Chislehurst station was opened in 1865 by the South Eastern Railway when the cut off line to Dover was opened. Initially the station was called Chislehurst and Bickley Park.
In 1868 a new station was opened south or the original towards Tonbridge.
The line and station were modified to accommodate quad track running at the start of the 20th century (1900s)
The station sits on a junction serving the South Eastern Mainline and the Chatham Mainline for trains running into and out of London Victoria.
This stations biggest claim to fame is the Chislehurst Caves which are in very close proximity to the station. The caves are part of an old mine that was used as a makeshift air rade shelter during WW2, because of its success you would see thousands of people getting off trains here to head for the caves.
My next station will be Elmstead Woods. Which quite possibly is one of the most beautiful stations I've ever been to.

Definitely one of the most popular trainspotters in Britain, very impressed with your videos, as a lifelong train enthusiast myself I’ve been watching your content since I was 9
Well that's very kind of you to say, I know I am popular but to say I am one of the most popular really does mean a huge amount! And thank you for staying with my channel for so long now!
Good film at chislehurst
Thanks very much!
Great video, mate. I'm looking forward to Elmstead Woods video. By the way, keep up the good work and thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks very much once again
James Bond made an appearance at Chislehurst. 007. Fab video.
Probably the best ones, though, are 700 007 and 707 007. I have images of both.
I'm not sure which I prefer...
Hi Tornado922. Great film at Chislehurst. Looking forward to watching the next film at Elmstead Woods. Kind regards, Chris.
Thank you kindly!
Mmm maybe I’ll go there. I’ll tell you what you’ve just inspired me to go to that station for Train spotting (keep up the good work definitely makes some more videos soon)
Well I hope you enjoy yourself if you decide to go there
Brillant video mate. You put on a good show
Ta much!
Well Mr Tornado922, just found your channel again after a few years (sorry!🤐) and a great film at Chistlehurst particularly with the recent additions of the Maidstone services and the class 707s.
and 5:14 what IS an act of heresey in my books is video-bombing trainspotters like some tosspot did to me at King's Cross earlier!
Hello there KingKarrot! Nice to see you back here once more! I'm glad you enjoyed watching this. It does get annoying when people walk out infront of me of me when they can see me filming!

How did you even forget that Southeastern run with 377's as well as 375's?
Up until this point I didn't even know that SE had 377s!
