Great video, I enjoyed your tour very much. Watching this video gave me a sense of nostalgia too, the finger in the corner throughout the video made me think of my dad.
Hi Matt, I carefully planned that finger in the lens! It’s funny as the livestream interface grays out the side of the screen so I didn’t discover it until later after it posted. Thanks for the comment though. It was fun to have people watching in real time and asking questions.

The 3-cabin is about the same number in production. Depends on the family or need for crew.

Hi Scott, what are the sail locks you are using for the main and reacher halyards?
Hi Kev, the spar on Utopia is from Southern Spars. The reef hooks on the boom are from Karver. Procedure is to raise the sail above the hook, open the hook with a control line and lower the sail into the desired hook and close the hook. To release, loosen the cunningham, raise the sail up slightly (there are marks) and lower the sail past the hook.
why is there no chainstopper installed?? Anchor winch companies all say not to rely on the windlass on anchor. All recommend using a chain stopper. But I dont see any manufacturers installing them. Concerned why???
Thats correct. You do not want the tree to be on the chain. This boat has the anchor on the bridge deck. Stress is relieved with a bridle. Anchor is accessible and can be locked in place. The boats with the anchor at the cross beam can also be locked. They also require a bridle.
what does the following mean "hookah, brownie, spreader, reacher ,spinacker, stacle, halliard, shiv, code zero, barber hauler, solen, traveler, transum, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc"?

You were my inspiration! I learned a few things from doing these. Like not have you finger in the lens for example!! I've got a feature length video coming out on sailing Utopia. Editing now. I think it will go just a little beyond the 5 minute attention span. :-)

can the HH55 accommodate the fantastic helm station seats of the HH66?
Yes. There are a couple of approaches to doing that. Would be glad to elaborate. scott@rocknaks.com
What would be the limit for the weight of a dinghy/tender?
The 14' dinghy that is in the video is 215kg, engine 114kg, fuel and stuff in the dinghy about 25kg. With all that there's room in the davit design to handle water being in the dinghy. The above is about a large as you'd want however the boat has good weight carrying capacity.

Why is the present owner selling ?
Two friends own the boat together and one expanded their business and has not the time to use the boat. The agreement was if one has to leave they sell the boat.
@@ROCKNAKSYACHTSALESINC Thank you Scott.....totally realize that question is none of my business and your answer has me understand the reason this yacht seemed to be used as a coastal cruiser. In your opinion...what would this yacht need to be " circumnavigation" ready ?
The boat could leave tomorrow. There might be some additional spares and depending on your specific knowledge set some additional tools and medical kit. Otherwise, it has the correct sails, dual autopilots, and safety gear.

Hi Anthony, the one line outboard seems not to affect the solar output. Even so, it can be moved early to the gutter on the side. The boat in the video has 1.5kw and makes power by the end of the day with everything but the AC turned on.
