Cheers for that Scott, really enjoy your work!
Thanks Bert. More coming on this boat and a brand new one soon to see the water.
Scott always does a awesome job with walking you through the vessel. Keep it up scott I'll see you soon for my HH55.
Thanks! Planning on having more detailed videos coming on sailing the HH55 and the new OC50 and HH50.
Gorgeous:)
One minute and there is a beatiful Swan. Old school meeting hightec, great shot!
Thanks. Well said.
Great video. I would have liked a little more on how this layout compares to the version with the helms at the aft in terms of sailing - particularly shorthand sailing.
Thanks for sharing.
Nice!!! Know i must have one....
Does the 66 have significant benefits over the 55?
Hmm the story of the swim ladder....its designed from behind the desk...Try open that swim ladder hatch from within the water, we had something similar and changed it because you'd drown behind the boat, Try open it fully on a bouncing boat, which makes the hatch close again in your face and then turn the ladder over the dead point whilst your body is in the water Its a serious risk. We solved it by putting a cassette ladder, it pops out on the push of a button..
All the newer models indeed have the cassette style ladders. You can flip the hatch up on this one but you need to practice it.
Continuation of another professionally done video. As a marketing suggestion - Put a link to your FB Messenger in the SHOW MORE area and deliver your specs and PDF etc via messenger. Contact me and I will let you know why this is a competitive advantage.
That looks like Flash
Incredible brutal racing machine, totally functional and not so much pleasure. There are others which are much more beautiful for that kind of money. Mono hulls of course.
Lots of choices out there and many are really good ones. This boat is really for people that want something potentially twice as fast as its brethren but be able to do it in comparable comfort. Boats like this are weight sensitive and you can carry more options with the 66' length but certainly not the hot tub on the bow. Although that looks like fun!
Scott, are you wearing wool socks?
I hate those forward helm station layouts..... fine if you are racing with a crew.... but has no business on a performance cruiser. I also dislike the stern mount tillers. Fine if you can remove them and use them in emergency or when it is warranted, but otherwise an impediment to movement on the aft of the vessel.
@14:30 is this guy on drugs? Self rescue makes me lough who swim that fast. How about how high is your knee to step on the ladder.lol or is just me?
Hi Celso, Hmm, drugs. That might be a good idea. Yes, if the boat is moving you're in trouble unless you have a transponder on. Concept is if you fall overboard at anchor, on the dock, or just sitting there like that crew that went swimming in the middle of the Atlantic (with no ladder) and only two survived because they eventually used the glass from someone's sunglasses to claw their way up the side. The three rung ladders don't stick down in the water enough. The four rungs do,
Lol yes that is the cherry on the pie the ladder will buy as it is impressive step ladder!
What a BS boat..
Whats the use of this video. The 4 people who want to buy it, buy it anyway, they won't even look at this video! The people who can't buy it (rest of the world) won't buy it. So better make videos about reachable ships for many people. BTW this is not a real sailingboat. Its more a floating RV with a sail.
I'd take those 4 people! Seriously though, interested parties are now looking at every potential source of information before they buy. And, on sort of an entertainment level, many like seeing high end performance machines. It's sort of like my Ford GT videos. The majority of people like seeing it but or more likely to buy the Ford Mustang but certainly like the family heritage. See my other videos on a variety of smaller boats.
Love the video and if I win the lottery I’m calling Scott first 👍👍
@Leo O'Neill I can afford it!
@Leo O'Neill I have now two yachts, both Beneteau.
You have two Beneteaus and you're calling this thoroughbred an RV with sails???? You are delusional. Beneteaus are the classic dockominium.
