    That's so cool! Thanks for sharing. Thinking of getting a Pinsim as well. I currently have a 43" virtual pinball machine cabinet and an authentic Medieval Madness pinball. But I tried pinball VR the other day and may need this too!

    This is definitely the future of pinball... I want to see something similar for bowling as well... Where the ball is real... But you don't need an entire lane.

    Looks amazing! I've recently rediscovered pinball and wanting to recreate an authentic as possible experience. Have been looking at virtual pinball cabinet systems and while nice, they're also very expensive when you add all the equipment. The pinsim controller on the other hand seems like a really smart way to combine pinball's tactile side with the ability to change your view in 3D (something you can't do with the virtual pinball cabinet).
    If you are able to compare, where would a pinsim setup be inferior to a virtual cabinet type setup, do you think?
    Thanks for these vidoes!

    Look like a quest 2 headset. How was the image quality with the headset? Is it easy to read the text and smaller details on the tables? Thanks for your great videos about VR pinball.

    I really like the idea of this, but it seems to me that it's lacking in weight. I would imagine a little nudge would send this wanting to topple over. The pinball legs seem something of an extravagance since you're view is obscured. You could make it a stand-up pedestal and add weight to make it more stable. I'm not knocking your build. These are things I've thought about recently contemplating my own build.

    Are there detailed plans online for building something like this? I was considering building a full virtual cabinet with its own computer hardware but after trying some BR pinball I was blown away by it how it made aiming and playing feel just like playing a can IRL even more than a virtual cabinet, so now I just wanna make something like you got there to play with while using my Index

    Can you provide a list of equipment used? Not familiar with those buttons.

    Very nice!! How do you have your sound settings configured? Do you have sounds go to VR headset as well as the 2.1 ssf setup? How do you achieve this?

    Awesome set up! How did you secure the lockdown and side bar?

    • @thevrguys7912
      @thevrguys7912  3 роки тому +1

      Lockdown has some heavy duty velcro holding it down, side rails are just small strips of heavy duty double sided mounting tape

    What's the launcher called? What VR headset are you using and what kind of PC (specs) are you using to drive this?

    • @thevrguys7912

      The launcher and other software are covered in part 3 ua-cam.com/video/V0BVrNQ_U-U/v-deo.html
      I use a Quest 2, the PC is a Ryzen 3 3100, 16Gb RAM with a 1660ti, nothing too crazy.

    Does the tactile feedback feel like pinball solonoids or more like controller vibration?

    • @thevrguys7912
      @thevrguys7912  3 роки тому

      In between, much better than controller vibration. Solenoids pair well with the exciter speakers but overkill in a pinsim where space is a premium IMO

      2. I for the pinsim, and 1 for my Oculus Quest. I also have an aux cable running from the pinsim to the PC
