The Sanskrit term ‘kaivalya’ is very often translated by not only the western scholars but also the Indian authors as 'salvation'. It is, thus, essential to understand the distinction between these two concepts concerned with the ultimate destiny of all mortal beings of this universe. Salvation is a term from Christian soteriology and it means deliverance of a human being from the original sin and its consequences brought about by a faith in Christ. In this video Babaji and Rajiv explain that kaivalya is very different from this English word salvation. To understand kaivalya completely requires some exploration and deep thinking. It cannot be simply mapped on to the English word salvation in an eagerness to translate. They argue and convince us that it would be better to leave the word kaivalya as it is, without any translation.

Kaivalya means complete engagement in devotional service to Krishna. It also means one centered devotion.

It means merging with the infinity with liberation from your existence.Becoming one with paramatma! It is not prema it is peace! Prema has too much vibration & ripples! Peace is the permanent bond.Prema can be inciting to achieve ultimate peace!

May be he means, through Prema (Bhakti Marg), you can achieve Kaivalya. You correctly said that Prema is not the ultimate state, but a way to achieve.

Excellent 🙏🙏 clarified many confusions, Sayujya is No-pain state where we are liberated from Material conditioning and Rest 4 Muktis are actual states to get "Ananda" in personal association with Lord..

I hope Rajeev Malhotra understands that he is promoting a very specific interpretation within Vaishnavism sect of Hinduism in some comments made by revered baba ji. I don't intend to say that doing this is wrong or baba ji should not express concepts as per his accepted Guru parampara. Instead what I mean is that it will be great if Mr Malhotra adds this disclaimer. The views expressed on Kaivalya here differs from another Vaishanav sampradya. For instance if I were to consider Ramanuja's Vishistadvaita school of philosophy (another school within Vaishnavism) then Sayujya is only true moksha. Kaivalya also has different meaning in Sankhya, Yoga etc. In Sankhya it means achievement of separateness purusa from prakriti. In Patanjali yoga system it means atman manifests in in its own pure state. Ramanuja's interpretation also is somewhat aligned with Paatanjali. I really hope that when he does such series he consults experts from all these individual darsana and as many different Sampradya within a sect as possible. Only then somewhat comprehensive/deep meanings of these terms will come out. Besides hinduism, Jains and Buddhist also assign a different meaning to this term as per their philosophy.
That said this series is an eye opener for many and much needed and likewise appreciated. Pranam to both you for spreading Dharmic thoughts.

I have a question, something which has confused me so much!!
Why are Congressi against Hindu despite many themselves Hindu?
People like DVS also do Narmada Yatra, with blessings of a Shankaracharya... That too on foot..
But are first ones to appease the fringe M
    And spit at Hindus...
Or Gandhi who wanted Hindus to introspect on themselves in Moplah but was happy abouts M's and ready for a Kaliph and praising the guy who justify their brutality.
But said Ram Ram all the time
Very Confused. How can a devout (not just by name)Hindu but soo against Hindus? Because I have 2 such work colleagues.... It baffles me. They were about to weep on abrogation of 370 but are completely silent on Bengal!!! They read Hanuman chalisa, do Puja and often times know more about rituals than me!! Please explain this paradox in some video!!
I have read that even many communist supporters are Devi worshippers, especially of older generations!!! I beleive many people couldn't understand Gandhi because of this confusion and hence were following him. It is so confusing and baffling because can't put them in any set bracket or label!!

sir I really request you to please explain us about the explanation given by paramhansa yogananda on the serpent and the fruit story relating it to kundalini and the tree to the upside body where the muladhara is the first then comes all chakras when muladhara is the basis of everything..hence the sleeping kundalini exists in the muladhara and slowly rises up.
So the fruit is associated to the sexual pleasure and bad effect of kundalini .. hence as they taste the fruit they break the immortality by falling into the sexual pleasures or kama which resulted in the serpant or kundalini to rise a bit
I don't really understand completely but can this be justified via sanatan dharma as shri yogananda guru shir yukteshwara did which shri yogananda quoted in his autobiography.
Please shed some light as I do think that there is some link which has been completely missed and the crux is same.
    Thankyou sir

Kaibalya is rightly said KEBAl or only. What is that only or who is that only. Here It's not clear what does only mean. As per "Arya Shastra Pradeep" written by 'Ramkinkar Yogotrayananda' ji it means the complete seperation of Jeevatma from Prokrity. We all know formation of any living beings or any animate things are only possible when Jeevatma(Chetna or Chaitanyo or Purush)
comes in contact with Prokrity( Shakti or Nari).
This is the fundamental principle of Samkyo Darshan.
After rigorous practice or Sadhna someone comes at that stage of realisation that he/she is not a body but something else. He or She then realises this something else is as Jeevatma, a part or associted with Paramatma. Realising his or her real identity he wish to be separated from Prokrity. At that stage Jeevatma feels "I", kebal or only I & cycle of rebirth ends here. THIS is called MOKSHA or KAIBALYA or Kebalatma or Atma only. This is the scientific explanations of Moksha. Thank you.

Mukti/Moksha is NOT becoming part of Brahman. Such philosophy makes Brahaman has parts and hence Vedic assertion that Brahaman is Akhanda (partless) renders false. This kind of philosophy is anti-vedic and should not be followed.

Moksha or Mukti is the Mochana from Narag or hellfire and entering into the Sayujya or eternal bliss in Kaivalya or Swarg through the worship of one and only Paramatma, the creator of the universe.
