This is one of the best Annihilator line-ups featuring Wayne Darley on bass guitar and Dave("Malve")Davis on guitar; two old friends of mine from the Victoria metal scene of the early 1980's. This is a great song by a great band that deserved more from their home country of Canada. Proof that rock will never die.
wayne darley was annihilator bassist during their classic formation ( jeff waters..aaron randall...dave scott davis..randy black..and wayne darley himself)
Rampage blew them all away. This guy looks/sounds like he should be in a glam metal band. Funny how Waters did everything in his power to make them as accessible as possible, diluting their sound and power and in the end as the fans screamed a return to thrash, he acknowledged who pays his bills and gave them want they wanted.
@@friedjubes5991 simple truth bro, don't get yer panties bunched up, accept it like a man, they were a great band now there a joke living off the first 2 albums as the fans ultimately decide whats good or not have forced him to return to attempt thrash and abandon the poser hard rock he turned them into
@@mikerauter1859 explain that though? The only reason they never got famous across us was because they never play over here since the 80s , how about you do some research buddy your a casual
@@friedjubes5991 Ridiculous, you obviously don't even get my point - compare the aggression of Alice in Hell with albums 3 -4 etc, Waters said in several interviews at the time that writing hard rock comes easiest to him and took the band away from thrash in a much more commercial direction (eventually returning at the fans requests to more like their earlier style). I suggest you do your research and quit the metal tourist lifestyle.
@@mikerauter1859 you don’t even know anything at all everyone in the metal community would think your an absolute txrd there’s no way you can say that about one of the best bands , I bet you like Motley Crue
Damn, I wish I knew what kind of gear Jeff is using. I can always differentiate annihilator's sound from any other metal band. Their tone is just so unique
i was lucky to see them Live in 1993..and it was a hell of a concert! Front of me to see Jeffs Guitar! Woooooooooooooooooooooww...Annihilators first two albums were Ass-kicking Speed-Thrash Stuff! Metal on!
I absolutely love this song. Also, Stonewall and Alison hell 👌 what a great Canadian band this is / I look at Jeff Waters as the Warren demartini of Metal looks like him, especially here and is just as 😎 cool!
This is a great video and not to mention an amazing practice! This has to be my favorite line-up for Annihilator! That is probably Aaron Randall is my favorite lead singer for Annihilator! xD
This is how studio records should be record: in one take! These guys are amazingly playful, btw. Great to see the joy they're having while making music
I just found this video on "All for you" when I put the CD in my computer's ROM-drive for the first time. I thought I knew everything about the CD yet. Finding this video on the album felt like putting on a pair of jeans you haven't been in for like weeks and finding 10 Euros in it :D
how do trivium think their better? they practically worship them, Annihilator may be supporting trivium with Sanctity atm but its only because Trivium are currently more popular then Annihilator.
What a blast it would beto be in that band. Canada represent boys!! Love this vid :) Yer the King Jeff!! Everyone check out Jeff's lessons on youtube too. Awesome stuff.
i hated this when it came out but after a few years it is one of their best songs with aaron singing vocs i wish they would bring him back he blows away dave paddens voice

Metal. Metal will never die
that bass line so moving yet simple
Poor Wayne has no idea he won't be making that Japanese tour.
Who is Wayne and why did he not make it to Japan.

Hello! The name of the bassplayer on this video is Wayne Darley and he is playing bass on the Annihilator cd "Set the world on fire".
Jeff was a dork in the good old days :) But he's still the king!
I love annihilator!!!!

when the guitar came in my first thought was "hey remember when you could headbang to metal?"
Jeff has always been a weird quirky dude lol
+Mark Jaramillo Average Canadian
I think he's just more real than most people. Everyone is weird but most people are in denial about it, trying to pretend to be normal xD

amazing job..annihilator are great live!!yeah greetings from prague :)
Headbanging song 🎸🤘
nice rhythm David -made it fun for Jeff eh
That's Jeff Waters, the founder of the band.
I like some of their tunes but i find most a bit cheezy but then i did find myself driffting to bands like napalmdeath and now theres no turning back.
Great line up.
Amazing live sound!

Best part is 1:05. Jeff is awesome there, then the singer says "LETS GO" and the thrash starts!
Piece of history
i dont understand why it's annhilator supporting trivium and not trivium supporting annihilator...
My iPod says 549, my computer says 276.
Man I love this song! (times I listened to this)
I guess it's just a matter of taste. No need to insult others.
Epic!!!
Why did Aaron get kicked or left? Anyone know? 😢
@juvezr It seems to be a Hamer Vector (Flying V), probably a custom one.
