With every band every fan has a favorite song, album, member, period etc, etc: it's all down to personal preference and choice, but we all love the band... I've been an Annihilator fan since 89 and loved every single song since. Jeff Waters is not just an amazing guitarist, but a great songwriter, supporter and advocate of our treasured metal music, and also a huge influence on my guitar playing style. Not many people, including me, can play the blues that quickly and genuinely and incorporate it seamlessly into metal music so naturally. I have this on DVD, and am happy to admit to it being my favourite piece of Annihilator magic, one of the significant reasons for that being Dave Paddens contribution. What an amazing singer and guitarist! For the record, my personal favourite Annihilator vocalist, with Jeff coming in a close second: A lot of the time, the best person to do the song vocal justice is the composer..... Prior to seeing this, it had been a while since I watched this video. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching this and all the other clips I've binged on tonight. RocK!
yeah sleep well! I always have a picture in mind from 1986: -a basement -a bunch of sheets -a ghettoblaster -and a mastermind with an acoustic guitar !
Pro Git players are like Pro Golfers - they make it look easy - when in fact it's some of the hardest shit to pull off - correctly. I give you Jeff Waters - dude acts like he sleeps with his guitar. Bad Ass.
@@BLAZEVENTURA904 yes every version, before and after Never Neverland album, has the tapping section. Even their first demo. It’s just that I love the one on NN so I always hope to see Jeff playing it live
Dave has such a powerful voice! Too bad he left Annihilator
Too bad Randy left and died
Dave was my fave annihilator vocalist
best intro of the thrash metal history !

Greatest Canadian metal band hands down

BEST SONG EVER !!!!!!!!!
Jeff has a killing picking...
ahah i do not usually like that much new frontmans in old bands but this guy sings a lot and has much energy on stage.
They've gone through a ton of singers. As a matter of fact, Dave (the guy here) left awhile back. I really liked him in the band!

You can hear a bit of what made it onto their latest album at the end! Nice!

St. Pauli!!!!!!
@Radar295 i approve of this
@3.58 take a good look lars
This is what Annihilator should be doing, the band sounds better live than on their robotic albums.
+K Gubbas agreed
+K Gubbas That's because they rerecorded sound in the studio.
It's just movie with studio record.
Listen some more carefully.
+K Gubbas Jeff's movements betrayed him.
They're playing the solos though.
Anybody knows why Jeff always plays that tapping part at 3:40 and not the one in the record? I love the parte he plays in the LP.
Some songs have special Live only sections. Welcome to your Death has an epic bridge mid section but it's Live only.'
I'm pretty sure that Jeff plays that tapping lick in the version with Randy Rampage
