You of all people should know this is recorded in the studio. :D You can even hear that all (string) instruments were played by Jeff, the bends, the vibrato, it's identical on both guitars. :D
Jeff Waters is the most underrated metal guitarist of all time. It's plain criminal how Annihilator isn't as big as other bands. Love these guys so much.
Literally learned about these guys TODAY. And I’m pissed off. Cause that’s 17 albums of amazing material that I never known and listened to this type of music my entire life. Absolutely criminal.
I don't understand why don't nobody give a shit about this awesome guy. He writes metal songs which gives a different taste. Yet only 60,000 times watched...
@@melissasrage yeah I kind of agree same with Testament. I like them but I can’t listen to them everyday like I can with Gojira, Pantera, Municipal Waste, etc.
That was fucking amazing. I first heard Never Never Land not long after it came out but only recently returned to listen again. Curiosity led me here. Jeff Waters is a machine - no human can play so studio perfect while pulling faces for a crowd
i dont know how the hell these guys replicated their exact studio sound LIVE ONSTAGE... MINDBLOWING. FLAWLESS VICTORY! without the crowd cheering at the end, and the video itself, nobody could ever tell the difference just by listening..
WOW Amaaaazing I Love Annihilator And Jeff Waters Are A Talent Great Master.. Have Seen Them Playing Live Here In Sweden..And That Was One Of The Best Live Club Playing I've Seen. .WOW Jeff Really Was In A Damn Action Full Force Trough All The Consert Playing..He Gave All..Kickass. .What A Genius MASTER BEST EVER \m/♥♥\m/
Dave Padden has really grown on me. Before I used to complain that he had a very auto tuned sounding voice, but now I've come to realize that's just his voice. He's one of my favorite Annihilator vocalists now, second only to Coburn.
god_of_thunder96 preach! i was about to write the same comment. dave is a great vocalist and also a beast in rhythm guitars. his live performances are extremely close to studio quality
Yeah wow, he sounds AMAZING!! I was not a huge fan of his voice at first for the same reason, but it really works. It's great. The band is perfect in this video.
Trust me when I type this, Bands fuckin killin it at every level. Megadeth... Metallica... Priest... Mercyfulfate... , I'll list 10 more.... in honesty Armored Saint, Anthrax. SCORPIONS, TED Nugent, Wild Dogs. Exodus. SOD, Exciter, Icon, Slayer, Sabbath that's 11
This band is like a random collection of musicians. I was a fan for many years and don't even know who plays in this video. I can recognize Jeff Waters and Dave Padden, but have no idea who the other guys are...
My favourite Annihilator lineup is the Alice in Hell lineup from 1989 Randy Rampage Jeff Waters Anthony Greenham/Dave Scott Davis Wayne Darley Ray Hartmann
Jeff is one of the greatest Metal Guitarists of all time.
Hands down man🤘🇺🇲🍻
He barely looks at the fret board, he throws shapes and never misses a note! He really is amazing!!
🤘🏻🇧🇷🍺
The most underrated and over looked guitarist of all time .
👍
NO ONE from The Big 4 performs that perfect. Annihilator does.
You of all people should know this is recorded in the studio. :D You can even hear that all (string) instruments were played by Jeff, the bends, the vibrato, it's identical on both guitars. :D
Andriy Vasylenko 2 It sounds a bit too good for live actually. Maybe the guy above is right, I do have a bit of doubt however.
I take it those 2 idiots never saw Annihilator live x)
It's one of the best live bands ever...
EXACTLY!
Annihilator is like the God of music and performance....
Jeff Waters is the most underrated metal guitarist of all time. It's plain criminal how Annihilator isn't as big as other bands. Love these guys so much.
100 times better than Megadeath
@@thorstenriedel3152 and Metallica
Literally learned about these guys TODAY. And I’m pissed off. Cause that’s 17 albums of amazing material that I never known and listened to this type of music my entire life. Absolutely criminal.
@@thorstenriedel3152 nah megadeth is a different kind of good and so is jeff they are different
@demon_3x they have about 4-5 good albums aa far as i can tell, which is pretty standard for any great band.
Dave padden was great the fact he could play the rhythm and sing all previous singers songs spot on was amazing shame he left.
I never liked his voice, it doesn't have any power IMHO
@@aaronmaiden3606He’s the one of few mortals that can keep up with Jeff. Annihilator died when he left….
@@tenkarlos i agree
This sounds so damn good for a live show...
at least the guitars were re-recorded in studio for this DVD
@@EloirTroyack the guitars are re recorded but blended with the actual vocals and drums and bass from this show
@@Septicshitesso your saying Jeff isn’t playing guitar at all?
@@friedjubes5991yes that guitar you see is optical illusion. Hologram 😊
@@friedjubes5991 he play, but they use to much slides at the beginning
Jeff Waters live performance is AMAZING how can he play his solos better in a stage than in a studio?
He can't. The guitars are dubbed with studio recordings
BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE CAMERA MAN DURING THE SOLO... perfectly focused on him and his playing alone. Thank god, it's beautiful
This song is a metal masterpiece, never will stop loving it
Totally!
I don't understand why don't nobody give a shit about this awesome guy. He writes metal songs which gives a different taste. Yet only 60,000 times watched...
5xyellowflash Most things that are great on UA-cam have the least amount of views. I prefer it that way, less trolls.
Cause people are lame. All the metal guys from late 80s on worship these guys. Thanks gor fn up my necks.
Because that different taste isn't the greatest. I like Annihilator, but their sound and lyrical content aren't my #1 favorite.
melissasrage very true lol i love annihilator but a little too weird
@@melissasrage yeah I kind of agree same with Testament. I like them but I can’t listen to them everyday like I can with Gojira, Pantera, Municipal Waste, etc.
Dave is always impressive. I have no idea how he manages to sing like a boss and cover rhythm
His voice is SO GOOD
one of the coolest solos in history of metal
one of the best thrash bands ever very underrated
Jeff has to be one of the most consistent metal guitarists ever.
Насколько охренительно этот дядька играет на гитаре!!!
jeff waters = Metal god
Yes, definitely :)
I miss Jeff Watters long hair
Yeah, not sure why he went for the mohawk
such an under rated band, its a crime that they are not more popular.
top band and top song
jeff plays so clean and effortless haha! what a monster
That was fucking amazing. I first heard Never Never Land not long after it came out but only recently returned to listen again. Curiosity led me here. Jeff Waters is a machine - no human can play so studio perfect while pulling faces for a crowd
He's an actual god, I swear. Absolutely effortless and so so clean
The intro to this song is used in the Russian radio broadcast about metal music "Хранитель Снов" (The Keeper of Dreams)
Masterpiece!
Nice!
Better than the studio version!
i dont know how the hell these guys replicated their exact studio sound LIVE ONSTAGE...
MINDBLOWING. FLAWLESS VICTORY!
without the crowd cheering at the end, and the video itself, nobody could ever tell the difference just by listening..
i saw them at the Marquee in london in 1991 and wow! always loved the band but this live version is outstanding!!
padden is amazing vocalist.
Amazing... Amazing... Amazing... Dave... come back!!
Guitar solo on repeat! 🤘🏻
Tight is the thing that comes to mind.
3:40 Casually performs near perfect guitar instrument solo performance...no big deal really..i have goatee and long hair.
+misterdinkly If you want to know what is to play that solo for him, play it at 0.5 speed xD
LOL!
It's really mind boggling how the hell he can do that shit. He peeked at the guitar maybe once or twice. Then just toyed with it :)
He's an absolute beast.
The best metal solo, EVER!!! Always was, always will be!!!
From the BEAST known as Jeff Waters 👊🎸🤘
*I fucking love this part **3:24**, what an amazing & incredibly beautiful solo. Really good vocalist too.*
Love Jeff waters' playing live, spotless performance! Big big guitar idol for me back in my youth :)
The performance is so tight!

That's because he really improved over the years, he got so damn good and then he left :/
Yeah wow, he sounds AMAZING!! I was not a huge fan of his voice at first for the same reason, but it really works. It's great. The band is perfect in this video.
Shit I thought the same thing about his dude but he kick ass
Let's be honest, Padden is a good vocalist and he was a decent band member.
Everything about his playing is crystal clear but what I love is 4:03-4:05. CRISP PICKING
This sounds so freaking clean… amazing
Jeff Waters is a thrash Metal god and well known for his killer playing here in germany
Insanely good
Wow im just discovering this bandand that was an exellent performance. Very clean
I can imagine Jeff sleepwalking and still playing his guitar flawlessly like that, lol!
Моя любимая песня
Jeff is a beast for sure but how good was Dave in this band, incredible vocals and rhythm guitar!
Dave got alot better since he picked up a guitar and stopped being only vocalist ...
He's amazing as a singer and rythem guitar
Man I want him back
Awesome performance! Love the riffs
Jeff is the best! He a man who was born with a guitar in his hands!
They play as tight as Doro´s spandex. Great performance. Once covered the song with my band.
I love it song.
Perfect🤘😉👍
Super underrated!
Take it as a compliment (or not), but this sounds WAY too perfect for a 100% live recording.
Riffs and leads are amazing in this song
God bless Jeff
Love the guitar break!
