This is too cool. For first learning this knot it actually makes it really really easy to follow where everything is supposed to go. Thank you!

Thanks for the alternative version, I don’t have control of all of my fingers so I struggled with the diamond knot, as it needed to be started off between two of my fingers that ‘don’t work’. I guess you never know how an alternative version might help someone. I might be able to tie one now.

I didn't think of it that way and now that you said that, I'm even more glad I made this video. Hope it works out for you!

This is so ingenious! I tried the other method for hours, but it did'nt work for me, so I do have to make it with this method. Thank you. It should fix my button and noose problem, too.

Do you have a similar and quick technique to make this knot to a bracelet only from these knots? I mean a prayer rope but the simple and quick knitting technique?

I like it. At least for some stuff. If it near the beginning of the piece you are working on, it is good. I'm not certain it will be good for a diamond knot near the end of a project, though. I have yet to test that myself, but from what I learned, it just seems like it would be difficult to manage.

I just tried this way of tying the knot and it looked nothing like you made. But that's mostly my fault kinda.. I have a type of learning disability and I don't learn as fast as others.. It took me a while to finally figure out how to make the fish tail bracelet

There is an even easier way to tie the same knot, if you are interested in it look up videos on tying Orthodox prayer ropes.

You need to show the hole process You keep cutting out how You move the cord 1st it is on your thumb and palm next it is in your fingers

I make a lot of this pattern, but not in this way, it's a little more complicated and with 1 spear. not only one thread is made, 52 beads are made in a bracelet and I am paid for 1 bracelet which can cost 4 cents . you have to be patient because 1 bracelet takes 30 minutes at maximum speed. for a beginner It can go 1 hour and 30 minutes

and it leaves such a large loop because you go all the qay around your palm. what if you used your thumb and fore finger?

Great Idea! This way, it is actually better than the other version. I used my index and middle finger and it was a little bit more difficult but overall better!

Pretty cool, but not as easy as the 2 minute tutorial by 10 year old “Professor Paracord”! Good try tho sir. I still enjoy your channel.
