I'm guessing you use the color-coded individual bags as a way to randomly select for the master bag. eg master each bag gets 2 mint sets, 1 green, 2 blue, 4 white, etc., etc, etc
@@robertduffy5805 Good thought but, no. I just grab the colored bags that fit the item that I need to put in a bag. I have a good system currently but am always improving it step by step. Thank you for your comment.

Back in September I ordered the $250.00 grab bag from the same seller. I did pretty well.
As usual Rob does his best to add genuine value. The coins except for the Indian nickels are good quality.

Rob, I am going to ammend my original remarks. The silver bar seems unique in the four bags. The Franklin was amazing but I felt you were favored. You definitely won the comparison.
I was a little concerned with the coin supplies at the beginning - I wondered if they were going to count those a little high. But, honestly, that was a great bag. Definitely great for a beginner. Not bad, at all. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, they include the starter kit for all new customers. I bought several bags from this eBay person and have been very happy with each purchase! And he also emails me with each order asking me if there’s anything I’m looking for. The pack you received, Rob, is an actual representation of what anyone would get.

Are the coins real?
I would say the only thing really stuffed was the poured mk bar. He knew you'd like that and included it specifically for you.
I somewhat agree if I am being honest... I felt it was "extra" in the respect that it was pirate-themed (my favorite) and maybe worth more than let's say a regular premium round.

OK, watched all 4 vids and will say that everyone got their value. I'd rank that as: RFT 1st just barely edging out Seeker in second. Coin Crew taking a respectable 3rd. And Raven just getting his value and taking 4th. Congrats to all four channels for not getting skunked.

Pretty good coins for a grab bag. Usually the give you a bunch of junk that I would consider "discards", for lack of a nicer term. Nice proof Franklin half!

Rob, I couldn't of agreed with your evaluation of the mystery box more! If you're a beginner coin "enthusiast", this is an excellent buy with a great overall spread of items/coins that gives you a variety of areas to explore. If your a veteran coin hound, there's a lot in there that you can take or leave. The Benji (E. loves Benji's!) was a complete surprise to me and is a beautiful coin! The Barber half was also a great pickup in the box! When it comes to overall value, whether you're a beginner or someone who's been at it for awhile, I think the box definitely had the value that matched the price tag! Now I need to go watch the other vids to see what they got. Thanks for the update.

In my opinion, that pour is made your mystery box the best of the four! That Benji is awesome too. Would be hard pressed to find another 67 with the same level of eye appeal without a designation. Great box!
I think so too. The coin is a much nicer coin because of the near-cameo it is. If it was an PF65 or PF66, I'd likely crack it to see if I could get it.

well i have watched all four videos i liked all four grab bags they all had similarities but that slabbed proof benji along with the handmade silver bar in Robs bag i liked the most so Robs grab bag was my favorite

I watched all four videos. Each was valued at $200 or a little more. I am highly suspicious that the seller knew what was going on and stuffed your four boxes with extra stuff. I'd give him another shot and make sure he doesn't recognize the name and address. Maybe send it to a friend.

LOVE that Benji!!!!! The Barber is nice too. I have a full set of those Innovators Reverse Proof dollars and I like them a lot! A good starter kit for a new collector with some solid coins Not bad as a gift for a kid just starting out.

Interesting to see that the eBay seller no longer is selling $150 grab bags and now their least expensive grab bag is $250. Hmmmmm.

He got a little over $200 in value there. Think a 250 bag would be around 350 in value then? Guessing probably more like 300. But at least this selling is doing the coin community a service selling honest grab bags with more actual value than the selling price. Too many sellers ripping off unsuspecting people and getting positive reviews in the process. Saw a man once get $55 book value in a $50 grab bag in a video and was happy. I'm thinking $55 in book value no way would sell for $50 in actual value.

Rob... that was a great box for the price. It seems most of the items are very similar in all the boxes. The Franklin half and the 1oz poured silver put you neck and neck with Seeker in my opinion, but the innovations coin was a nice cake topper.
I've bought mystery lots before and they almost always had a 25% more value than what you paid. The most I spent on one was $25, and it had about $40 worth of stuff

Wow, all of the boxes are very similar in variety and value. I would like to receive any of them. I did like Keith's box the most because of the 50% Canadian coin and the Krugerrand, but you all got a good deal.

Just an FYI, I purchased one of these sets too, and the seller also contacted me (a random, nobody ebay purchaser) to see if there were any specific coins I was looking for or anything I didn't want included. I have not gotten the set yet, so I can not verify if my grab bag will be as nice as this one (and he obviously might have made Rob's much better since he recognized him)... but the seller does seem to send this email to all his buyers and wants to fine tune the packages to what the buyer likes. Can't wait to get my package, it has shipped and should be here in a couple days!

Good box for the money for sure. But as I have said before, I would not order ANY mystery box, as I would rather have a Morgan or Peace dollar that I need for my album. That being said, I understand that you guys are ordering for the benefit of all of us and that you can make use of the "chaff" as giveaways for your channels. I would rate your particular box as #1 of the 4. The slabbed Franklin and the poured silver bar puts it over all the rest.
