I saw Seeker's and I think you both made out, but I have to wonder if Joe Schmoe would get a similar deal. The seller has to know who you guys are, and he's going to hook you up a bit. With my luck I'd get a bunch of war nickels I don't see a clear-cut winner, as there were nice coins - even some interesting stuff. Congrats on closing in on 100K - that would make a nice Christmas present. As always - you're always pleasant to listen to, and I always learn something.
I just got mine, I'd say the value is definately close to what both seeker and rob got, mine was pretty close to seekers with all the proof quarters I got
You should be ordering these grab bags anonymously to give an accurate representation of what the seller provides. Even if he didn’t recognize your UA-cam channel name immediately, a simple Google search would have clued him in. The month-long delay could have been for legitimate reasons and/or he didn’t figure out your UA-cam channel until he was prepping your order. Also, if he received your order and Silver Seeker’s order at the same time, he could have figured out you were doing a grab bag shootout with another UA-cam channel.
Why did you order using your UA-cam handle? Of coarse if he searches your 'name' they will provide with better products for you as promotion. You might as well message the buyer and tell them you are going to make an opening video and tell them to put in the good stuff. Really poor review here.
I ordered under my real name. I didn’t realize they would ship from my PayPal. When I saw the package had my YT handle on it I wanted to make sure I mentioned that upfront. It wasn’t necessarily a product review but more of a challenge vs Silver Seeker.
It was my ebay account. Not every one who sells on ebay watches my channel. I didn't try to get a seeded pack. I even specifically asked for it to be a regular pack. FYI: This is an older video. Since then, I have created an alternate account in the event I want to order stuff.
Can't get mad at that grab bag. Although he should have known that was machine doubling & that fbl liberty bell should have had a question mark (❓️) on it... Still, I say 👍.
Well I guess you did ok.but I would have been disappointed if I got that. They were kinda boring coins, nothing that most people have. I like more interesting coins even they might be less valuable foreign coins, at least they could be something I don't have and would likely never come across. But thats just me I guess.

I would say you had the better bag . Worst was silver seeker . way over priced shipping ,if it did not have a signature required. I ship anything over $50.00 with a signature required, have to with porch pirates .

You may need to have these grab bag contests sent either to a 3rd party friend or to your home address and not your PO box because I think it may have tainted the results.
I want to give this round to Seeker, based on that "FBL" Benny that Rob received, but to be honest, it was close. The funny part is that the Missouri coin went to Rob.
Personally, I liked Rob's better only because I don't have much of a use for slabbed quarters. And as I have said before, the mystery bag videos are fun to watch, but for $150 I would rather buy a Morgan I need for my album.

Hey @RobFindsTreasure I saw both videos and in my opinion you had the better bag for the reason that yours had the 1992 Silver Proof Set. Even though Silver Seeker had a 1986 ASE. Nevertheless both bags and videos are awesome.

Pretty even, maybe seekers. Especially if his bonus coin actually grades MS66. He got the slightly more desirable ASE first year. And a bunch of slabbed quarters instead of the silver proof set. For value about even for resale easability slight edge to seeker. But both great videos, thanks for being them to us!
Looks like you both got comparable packages. Silver Seeker got an error quarter as well, of about the same value. Agree that the error coin bumped up both your values and we can’t be sure everyone would get the same bonus for late shipping or that the seller didn’t figure out who you guys really were and gave you better packages as a result. But on the whole you both got excellent packages, worth somewhat more than what you paid, so the seller did right by you both-a rarity on eBay. Usually, grab bags are the junk collectors/dealers want to get rid of and know they could never sell well individually. They’ll cover up the junk by throwing you a bone of one decent/rare coin, but the rest is still junk that doesn’t realistically add up to what you paid.
I thought it was a draw . Now if you throw in your free error coin that you got. I think silver Seeker received a slightly better looking coin for the DDO Washington quarter. Otherwise I think you both did very well.
I do not think there is a statistical difference between them. SS had an anecdotal advantage with so many slabbed quarters and the 1986 dollar vs the 1987 dollar. Both bonus coins were sweet! Also the fact that everything was silver keeps satisfaction high.
I thought I posted last night, but maybe not. I thought all of you received great boxes, any of which I would be very happy with. I gave the edge to Coin Crew, based solely on my personal preference. i just got mine in and one of my pre 1965 coins was a 1921 alabama centennial half dollar looked to be about ms 58-60 to me how crazy is that!
