Also I just got myself a pure alloy ride (metal drummer) and my god you are right. Killer bell, super clean sustain and an agressive ting, what more can you ask for?

I think you should take every cymbal you have my meinl and every gig should be a different set up of cymbals , from the ride , hihats , crashes, stacks , splashes and chinas , should all be different each each gig and sizes and sounds , also you can do content from it explaining , why you choose that set up and what was your thoughts after the gig , then next gig choose another set up and do the same thing ....
