What is so amazing is how long Tim held that last note. The lower the note the more breath it takes, so to hold that note that long takes great breath control.
Yes, Tim Foust has blown out monitor speakers on stage when hitting them really low notes, and it's quite funny to watch it happen live as the rest of the guys bust a gut when it happens.

Okay Just Jen, have you ever heard of Thomas Gabriel? If not and you love Johnny Cash, you definitely will love Thomas Gabriel because he is Johnny Cash's grandson and sounds exactly like his grandfather. You will be blown away from his voice, I only found out who he was from playing a show in my hometown and playing his grandfather's classics.

The videos are really good but.....the live show is even more awesome. I was probably 60 or 61 when I saw them. The little bit of tear shed you have on your vids is nothing compared to what you would do at a live show. take it from me , 6'3" big guy, after the start of the second song in their 1st set I could not control the tears because o Tims bass. I used to sing bass years ago but no where near as low as Tim, or Avi, or Geoff Castellucci. It is soul soothing, right now especially for me . My oldest boy is in ICU on a ventilator with covid both his lungs collapsed but they wer able to fix that part. So all these awesome bass singers and others are a great help right now. LOVE your reactions!!!!

Home Free is an awesome Acapela group. They do have a cover of ("Boyz to Men End of the Road") & (When a man loves a woman.) if you have not checked those out you need to luv you will not be disappointed.

the story I heard was that June Carter Cash actually wrote this song having met Johnny Cash while still married to someone else. The rest is history.
You were looking away from the screen both times you listened to the end and you missed the important moment when Avi took off his trademark beanie and replaced it with Chris Rupp's cowboy hat. I've always thought of that as the first red flag that Avi's days in Pentatonix may be numbered, because THIS is the type of music that Avi always preferred over the pop that Pentatonix was doing. There are video examples on UA-cam of both Tim AND Avi breaking speakers!

Hi Jen. That last note Tim hit is a G1. Let's just say it's bleeping low!! Also Johnny did not write this. It was written by June along with Merle Kilgore. There are several vids on YT called Adam Rupp drum solo. When the guys are doing live shows they usually leave their beatboxer (Adam Rupp) on stage alone and he does 8 or 9 mins of his various sounds. I swear it sounds sometimes like he is doing 3 different sounds at the same time. Several of the guys in the group can also beatbox, and sometimes Adam and Austin (high tenor guy) do duets of the invisible harmonica. You should try their video of the Vince Gill song "go rest high on that mountain". I swear Rob (big guy dark beard) sounds so much like Vince in that one. Love your approach to reacts. Stay well.
