There is nothing "poser" about paying tribute to bands that inspired you to become the band you are. Offspring clearly took inspiration from some of the greatest punkers ever.
If the other group has talent this its great. There are a few times i was like some ones running a classic like some one re did a bob Dylan song about Hurricane Carter . But i love Hendrix version of of dylan song

And...it's only 6 seconds shorter than the original, so who cares!

This sounds almost identical to the original by the Ramones. The only difference I hear is that Dexter sings much more clearly than Joey Ramone.
