Who cares about their looks, do you have anything to say about their new music? Because, I saw them in Chicago while they were on tour and I love their new sound. Who cares about what they look like??????????
@@user-gi9og8fm5r: Chill dude, he's only complimenting her. There's nothing wrong with that, and besides he's right she does look great. Kathy is one of the best bass players ever.
You may recall, the Go-Go’s began as a punk rock band. They just got good and polished but never lost sight of their roots. The foundation of Rock has always been three chords. Those three chords can be the only ones used or added to for more complex riffs, but they are always there. The Go-Go’s have taken those three chords to the RnR HoF.
Robert Webb That's a bit over the top. Chrissy Amphlett from Divinyls was buddies with the go gos, but her own earlier rhythm section of Rick Grossman and Richard Harvey were total badass. They might be entertaining, but cut the hyperbole.
These ladies are some of the most criminaly under rated musicians ever. Gina Schock is right up there with Clem Burke of Blondie and is there anything Charlotte Caffey cant play well? Jane and Kathy are top notch also. heck, even Belinda is a talented drummer. Great band.
I still love the Go Go's. They cancelled their appearance twice when I had tickets to see them and never came back before they broke up. Great to see them perform again, especially covering the RAMONES!
El mejor grupo de rock femenino de todos los tiempos!!! Y tocando una canción del mejor grupo de todos los tiempos!!! Una luz en estos tiempos oscuros!
Sorry to say being voted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nowadays really doesn't mean shit anymore. Look at the bands. They're inducting the last few years lot of them aren't even really rock bands.
I love that they do this look how everyone is just really getting into it Charlotte is just grinning ear to ear and remember they started off as a punk band so it’s totes rad
I was looking for "Go Gos Live;" this was INDEED a very nice find! Being a musician myself, knowing that the Go Gos had originally started as a punk bank and especially having heard the Ramones' original version of this song, I was especially curious as to how the Go Gos would perform this. One thing that came to mind was the song's key--E major, then transposed to F# major; for all you musicians out there--that it was highly likely that they'd transpose the original key of the song; the reason being that even though Belinda's vocal skills would very likely allow it, the effect is not the same when a woman is singing those lower notes. My guess was correct: The band did transpose the song's original key--it sounded like A major then transposed to B major if I heard correctly---and I think it's safe to say that this met with awesome results. Besides this, the Go Gos showed amazing energy and engaged with their audience. I remember how back in the 1980s, they were referred to as a "girl band"---now they have a Broadway show "Head Over Heels" based on their compositions. When I think about it, the Go Gos broke music barriers...only back then, the music business was still a man's world...sadly in some ways it still applies today.
Glam if you have the talent and drive, the music biz is wide open--problem is record labels don't support and nurture artists like they once did, it's all about sales and chart action--lots of great folks don't broke through for lack of label and radio support--go to Austin, tX and you'll see great bands all over--SXSW is huge event every year
Congratulations ladies finally rnroll hall of fame, Kathy is one badass rocker chick,in this concert she looks so much better than in the 80s i,ve been saying for years they are underrated cheers from old rocker al downunder

Wow, nice rendition of the Ramones - this gets back to their start in the late 70s/early 80s when they were more of a punk band. All five look great here, and in this version you get Charlotte Caffey on the guitar with Jane Weidlen.
WOW! Is it just me, or did Kathy Valentine get hotter as she aged? AND She is VERY talented. Y'all should check out some of the stuff she was doing back in Austin.......Mindblowing. Keep rockin' Kathy! You rule!
The Go-Go's aren't the Go-Go's without Kathy Valentine. She's hot. The way she paid tribute to Dee Dee Ramone by barking out "ONE TWO THREE FOUR!" --- so cool. It's cool to see her asserting herself like that.
I wouldn’t have believed it but they did an excellent job of covering this greatest of all Ramones songs. And yes, Kathy Valentine looks smoking hot here. Check out The BlueBonnets today - she’s still smoking hot and she’s still making great rock and roll.
Pardon me for saying this but women just rock far better than any men. Debbie Harry, Tina Turner, Heart..... The wonderful Belinda! The list go’s on. I don’t know why but i’m obsessed with female Rock starts 😍
I think they started out as a punk band, so it's fitting. Ramones rule!
Good job Go Go's!

Kathy is the BOMB!
Absolutely Kathy is such a sexy lady ....stunning
I would still pay to see the gogos the best girl band ever

Kathy Valentine is more rocker and hotter than the eighties
metarkof , She is SMOKIN in that outfit

The hottest and seemingly the coolest also of the band.

Jane's smile still melts my heart.

Returning to their punk roots
Wow! They killed it. 👍
Best rhythm section of any 80s band. Great musicianship and total commitment to the music. Prove me wrong.
Agree totaly. Kathy Valentine is a killer bassplayer. One of the best if you ask me. And she is abosolutely stunning to.

Belinda's voice can sound different with different generas of music. Real talent 😍
What a great song for them to cover, highlighting what great musicians they really were, beyond the beauty & novelty of an all chick band...🙏🎼🎭♥️
Gina and Kathy are an awesome Rhythm Section and yes I agree Kathy still looks hot
That bass player, wow, sexy as hell and awesome stage presence. The drummer is solid and that snare sounds killer. Great cover, great performance.
Kathy V on bass and Regina Ann on drums!
The fucking sound of snare...mindblowing
Good to see them rock it in their original genre they rocked this gogo style
The GoGo's singing the Ramones-Fantastic-the Go Go's are the best all girl band ever!

Listen to Prozac for Lovers version. They are sedated.

they are even better than in the eighties. fantastic.
Wow! First time I ever see this. These women are legends. They need to be in the Hall of Fame.
