than he like yk what fuk it😭
and then they go right back to dancing
I can’t be the only person who really likes this for some reason
Hell of a intro to start off
Same here
Still one of my favorites. One hell of an amazing throwback intro that transitions beautifully into the film.
I was like "Omg it takes place in the 70s!" and was psyched, then disappointed, then happy again cuz the movie was legit good.
This is one of the best movie intros ever
This is so cool to see the late 1970s Columbia Pictures logo during 2007 & how the opening shows silhouettes of men dancing to some Funk music.
thank you for describing the video
They did the 1970s Columbia Pictures logo for The Interview too.
@@alexthehooligan you talking about the sunburst one where it shows the torch lady in a blue background & it zooms up to a sunburst & that it has a semicircle with the sunburst inside it & the words "Columbia Pictures" below it?
The 70s one has a more artistic feel even tho I love the 2000s one I grew up with
Damn man i was ready to watch the whole thing again.
And to think that this absolute banger of an opening credits sequence is coming form a Seth Rogen movie is amazing.
1:06 the best sequence of movie history
I feel like this movie was what killed the teen comedies of its time and brought with it more substance to the genre. Brilliant movie all around!
Best Anime Opening
I really wish we got a second season
Superbad as a slice of life anime series...
Top 10 anime intros
@@Dannohasho Great cast, amazing actors, fantastic writing, incredible animation, and humor that'll make you laugh so hard it'll make you fall to the floor.
what if I told y'all Becca's actress played Haruko in Slam Dunk's short-lived dub a couple years before this movie dropped?
u know a good movie is starting
Now thats an awesome opening scene to a movie on epic proportions! Righteous!😁
They don't make comedies like this anymore.
Ok imagine this but it’s the opening of Scott pilgrim vs the world with Evan as Scott and Seth as Wallace
I remember my first time ever watching this, I thought it was gonna be set during the 70s
If this isn't played at my funeral then I'm not dying.
The opening credits for this film kinda remind me of the opening credits for the earlier James Bond films, specifically Dr. No
Check out the opening credits for the movie “Foxy Brown” - the song playing even says “Superbad” a bunch of times!
cowboy bebop for me
I'll never skip this when I'm watching this movie
Such good vibes
This song is so iconic
“Bye Jane...” 😍
*you're a shining star...no matter who you aaarrreee*
Wrong song. This is too hot to stop
@@AfricanMilkTree 🥸
Great production
Bro I stg the Mandela effect is so real I could’ve sworn shining star was the intro song to this movie
Both songs are very similar, Especially the instrumentals.
Had the same thoughts
Nah, def always been this jam...
Best movie made ❤
Fun fact Michael cera danced for an hour in the dvd menu
Iconic
the best intro of all movies
The Bar Kays "Too hot to stop"
So, this is the return of the 70s Columbia Pictures in 2007.
That Columbia Pictures logo debuted in the late 1970s, 1976 to be exact. It was first shown in a 1976 film entitled "Murder By Death". They stopped using the logo sometime in 1981 or 1982.
Along with "a SONY PICTURES ENTERTAINMENT company" byline
I dance along with this scene
The song is "Too Hot To Stop" by the Bar Kays.
Which version is this cos the one on Spotify isn't as funky
McLovin
Can't say I expected to see a throwback to 70's exploitation films when I first saw this. Lol.
There is a melody that appears after Becca left the class screaming when by accident Set shows her what she drew, the melody is not roda Sergio mendes The melody appears when the director sees what I drew on his ghost house loncera and now I can't get that melody out of my head. I need it. Please, I beg you, someone tell me what his name is and answer me when you can. Chiao thank you so much for help me

@@yobelkcip Thanks for the Fact.
@@nadieenespecial.813 Hell Yeah.
Scotty "Too Hotty" Pilgrim Himself.
Let’s not forget Micheal Cera was also Brother Bear in the 2002 Berenstain Bears TV show!
Can somebody please tell me what's the name of this song?

@@alexk1682 being rude to complete strangers gets you nowhere. Stop being so contrarian.
@@austinhowell672classic song right
Giving a movie about two white suburbanite teens 70's blaxploitation undertones was a brilliant stylistic choice.
Uh oh, you woke
@@KevinLC23 LOL did this sound woke? I didn't mean it as such. I meant the juxtaposition was a good choice.
