#TitleSequence - Фільми й анімація
This has to be the coolest movie openings ever. The music and graphics, just awesome.
Spielberg, dicaprio, hanks and williams. What a combo
Can’t forget about Walken!!!
One of The Best Opening Credits for a Film ever made. John Williams' soundtrack for this is one of his most Underrated compositions.
Underrated? You`re kidding righ? The score was nominated for an Oscar.
@@jackprescott9652I think he means compared to his other scores like Star Wars or Jurassic Park
Best Spielberg title sequence. Period.
Well leonardo and Tom Hanks were amazing.
the design of this sequence is a very good homage to the movie openings of the 50s/60s era (John Barry, Elmer bernstein, henri Mancini, james bernard, Harry Lubin, etc.)
I was absolutely delighted when I saw this in theatre with my old man...those were the days !
Also reminds me of the openings of late 80's, early 90's movies.
I mean... 2:00 is pretty much everything. I've been obsessed with this passage ever since the first time I saw the movie. One of the coolest chord progressions of all time.
Me the same
Same here! Just that particular part from 2:00 through 2:19, that part just captivates me musically. I mean, maybe not all the films John Williams has performed in, but that part of the music probably could have been used in at least a few of the films he has scored for just for a particular scene. Like for example….. I could hear it being used in the movie RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, when Indiana Jones is trying to put on the uniform that couldn’t fit him and the Nazi soldier comes up to him right before Jones knocks him out…..that score could be used for that scene.
A Mancini moment, I'd be inclined to call it. Big nod to Herman, but Hank's in their too. A reminder that John Williams was pianist on the great Peter Gunn sessions.
It’s gorgeous. Nostalgic. Perfection.
Love this one. Graphics. Music. Story reveal.
Di Caprio
Tom Hanks
John Williams
Steven Spielberg
Janusz Kamiński
I NEED to see this movie !
don't forget Christopher Walken
Just saw it for the first time tonight... you will not be disappointed!
It's always wonderful to see animation with so much creativity in an otherwise very grounded live-action film
The iconic opening sequence is one of the best parts of the film
As someone who thinks this is one of Spielberg's best, I agree.
The passage at 1:43 is insane!
Fun fact: the reason behind this choice of animation in the opening titles is because this film is set in the late 1960's, which is when a popular geometrical art style was common in.
I feel like if Saul Bass was around during our modern era, he could do his sequences like this. I feel like this captures a style well represented for the time period and the sequence Saul Bass would’ve made. I mean the sequence also sets the tone for the film, introducing what we’re about to watch, involving an FBI Agent and this “master of disguise” the Agent is chasing.
Definitely Bass influenced.
One of the most memorable openings I've ever seen. And the movie is awesome as well!
I love when movies have long intros like this, like they're a TV show. Only other one I can think of is _Yours, Mine and Ours_ (the original one).
I love that we're allowed to hear the room. We can hear that this is the orchestra recorded, probably in a single take, and with a minimum of post production processing.
I just realized how similar this was to the opening credits of The Adventures of Tintin which John Williams also composed. 😄
Yeah
One of Spielberg’s best
Saul Bass-esque opening sequence which is arguably better, or at least as good as Saul Bass. And John Williams soundtrack is just incredible. Great film.
Fact: The Simpsons did a parody with similar animation style with Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa as "Catch Em If You Can."
also fact: Spielberg himself would go on to direct "The Adventures Of Tintin" a movie who's title sequence is a direct homage to this one.
Yeah, I've seen that episode
I love that episode
For animated movie title credits, this is up with North by Northwest (Bernard Herrmann/Saul Bass) and The Pink Panther (Henry Mancini/Friz Freleng).
Dazzling!!
This reminds me of James Bond. Animated backgrounds and effects, names of all the actors, with the lead role appearing first, a song that fits the theme of the film etc.
Music:John Williams and Marc Shaiman(2002)
Lyrics:Scott Wittman
You can run...
But you can't hide...
That hurts when you watched tokio ghoul
I’ve read the book. Great reading and great film adaption. ❤️❤️
Playing this for band, didn't realize how under tempo we still were 😅
One of those movies I just have to leave on when I see it on cable. It just sucks you in. In large part because of the music, I think. And this is one of my favorite intros to any movie ever. Spielberg scores again.
The best Saul Bass titles he never did.
The opening reminds me of the style of The Incredibles and Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi.
Its a homage to Saul Bass you retard
Very Saul Bass esque!
Weird but the British TV drama 'Stonehouse' seems to ape this opening with no reference? It is completely a copy of this opening. Nobody else notice this?
Did this inspire the incredibles end credits?
Love how there's a theme to Frank being a genius and criminal mastermind is in full effect, then there's this theme. the FBI is closing in....
So it means
“The Finder Wrestler v.s. The Unidentified Man”
Introduction very reminiscent of Hitchcock.
So cool it's hot.
1:43 1:45 1:48 1:51 1:55 1:59 2:02 2:07 2:10 2:16 2:20 2:31
This was such a sad film
Anybody knows how or what's the best way to make an intro titles like this plz
I use autodesk Flame, adobe after effects, davinci resolve and others
Need an easy and fast way to do it
Movie so-so. Music excellent. 6-20-2022
Interestingly Martin Sheen was Uncle Ben in The Amazing Spider-Man.
Alexandre Astier?
I think if Steven Spielberg had directed Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man movies the movies would have opening credits similar to this one
Yeah. I actually heard that James Cameron was supposed to direct SpiderMan movies starring DiCaprio
@@Motivation4U1123 I'm pretty sure he would've casted Kate Winslet as Mary Jane if he had
@@matiaspereira9382 would’ve been interesting but it would’ve ruined their careers
@@Motivation4U1123 I guess so. By the way those are just my thoughts. I'm not completely sure if James Cameron would've used Kate Winslet but since James Cameron usually uses the same actors I find it very likely he would have
Looks like it's gonna be very difficult to remake like this on After Effects!
The Simpsons Brought me here
good soup
This walked so Tin Tin can run
Leonardo dicaprio is like nick Wilde and tom hanks is like judy
You are right. Man
Wtf
Is like to see judy chasing nick
Good Zootopia reference
@@nickwilde8329 Ok
Pretty good reference
