Whoever made up the name McLovin is a Legend.
@The Amber Heard Playlist!! are you an actual amber turd supporter?
It was between that and Muhammad, the most common name. Read a book.
McLegend.
@theamberheardplaylist6768 no wonder she 💩 in the bed...😂😂😂
Mcmuffin!
Still one of the funniest movie experiences I saw in theaters as a teen
I worked at a movie theater when it came out, saw it at least 6 times. I loved seeing it with people who hadn't seen it yet, their reactions were gold. So fucking good
Facts
@@davidmagee5671bro you must have a good life
The only I’ve seen in theaters more than once.
Eight years of pitching, that’s crazy. This movie instantly became one of the best comedy movies ever
shows how stupid hollywood can be.
Right. how can "professionals" go 8 years rejecting a masterpiece?
That was like 8 years ago
@@bobdole8727 8? The movie is 14 years old. And they had to pitch it for 8 years until it got picked up. So it was 22 years ago that they started pitching it. But regardless, the hollywood stupidity hasn't changed, in fact, it's gotten stupider.
@@zzz7zzz9 lol its a quote from the movie dummy
“Acting’s not a hard job” says the guy who plays himself in every movie he’s in 😂
Maybe that's why he said it
@@Donalobit’s ok sarcasm flies over peoples head sometimes
@@MrAceAwesome1maybe it’s because that’s not sarcasm. It’s just a regular old joke.
Haha totally
@@RoflCannon6 Not even a joke. Most people acknowledge that acting is pretty easy and that most actors they work with are dumber than a box of rocks.
Obviously the top 5% of actors are exceptions and likely put a lot of effort into it
Why does 2007 look like the 90s lol
He said it… he wrote the script while in highschool
Cause 2000's were shit!
Watched this for the first time with some friends at a sleepover when I was 11. We saw this and Stepbrothers in the same night, probably the funniest 4-5 hours of my life.
How does michael cera literally look exactly the same in 2023
Has it really been 15 years?
God, do I feel old.
You got till 40.. 40's the cut off
Lol michael cera "we were weird and obsessed with each other" 😂
I just watched again last night. McLovin is about 43 years old now. Legend, never ever will get old.!!
hes 34 lol
@@VeronicaV-dl7ye is it? I saw it somewhere, my bad.
@@VeronicaV-dl7ye
The character is in his 40s, judging by his ID. The actor is in his 30s (he was 17 when filming).
Still such a classic movie and character 😂💜
That scene had me dying. The one liners are all gold
It all came together. Fabulous music, seamless sleek screenplay, terrific new actors, spot on camera work and dynamite editing. The overall energy of the film brought us back to our glory days which is not an easy thing to accomplish. I am not much of a Seth Rogan fan, but Seth deserves credit for this work of art. One of my top 10 favorite movies ever. The dude who plays the obnoxious old drunk guy should be given an award for making people piss themselves laughing.
I love superbad, it's a movie so realistic and intimate while also being funny and memorable af. One of my dreams is to make a movie like this one someday
Cool how not everyone has a cellphone in this movie
Love Cera’s rugged manly look at the end lol
manly...he's wearing my grandma's glasses 🤦♂️
The Bum "McMuffin!!!" 🤣💕👍
Mclovin’s laugh 😂
I remember how hard an entire theatre was laughing while watching this…it was like 200 people just losing it
That movie had so many super stars! Damn
mclovin's awkard laugh can still be heard in the interview
I can watch this today and it is 💯 better then modern comedy movies.
This movie is legendary. I was 17 when it came out. Maybe it‘s the most funniest movie ever. My friends and I have so money insider jokes based on this movie. It feels like a portrait of our own lifes back then. The highschool, the housepartys, the drinking and doing stupid funny things every weekend.
If a Ron Jeremy biopic is ever made Jonah Hill could play the part.
I think it'was a great movie 🎥🍿 with lots of wonderful actors and actresses
no shit
They all look and sound baked 😂😂😂😂
Spoilers: they were lol lucky Bastards wish I was baked right now
American Pie started the genre, Super Bad completed it. Big up McLovin!
Never seen animal house?
Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Dazed & Confused
One of the most hilarious movies I’ve ever seen 🤣
Still to this day one of my favorite movies all time
LOVE THAT FILM SOOO MUCH!
Now THIS is f*cking nostalgic! Someone please slow down time ASAP! 😭
I have seen this movie so many times, I can do everybody´s lines effortlessly. I have laughed my ass off in each of those times....this movie is ageless...
Someone made it up. Great story and well told.
Love the idea 💡 from Uganda 🇺🇬
Been 15 years since Superbad.....feeling old yet? Lol....today marks 200 days since my niece was shot on 2.2.22. By God's grace she is still here💖
What an odd thing to say.
@@TheDJOblivion not odd...true....take care.

I had a feeling that Jonah Hill was going to keep doing work after this movie. I love him in everything he does.
Check out War Dogs
Here I am reading the comments and seeing ppl describe this movie as a classic and that it was their first R movie as a teen.
I’m like WTH!
I’m saying to myself classic? Dude? Didn’t I watch this movie like 5 years ago? So I googled it, it’s a 2007 movie!! You mean to tell me it’s been 15 years already?! Oh no, where has time gone?
I guess I now need to Google the movie Office Space cuz wasn’t that 10 yrs ago? lol
They found the most perfect human to play mclovin
My memory of Vancouver is also subway, and dropping a meatball on the sidewalk at like 2 in the morning, eating the meatball then saying to a group of people, “don’t worry, I’m American.”
This movie is hilarious!!! ❤ so glad I saw it in the theater!
Don’t forget Clarke Duke from Sex Drive and Hot Tub Time Machine played an extra in this movie as a random friend. If you watch closely you can find him in a few scenes.
I was the perfect age when this came out. Most I’ve ever laughed. It’s so crazy but so real at the same time.
Crazy someone could be that lucky in their first-ever audition. Unreal.
These two can drive like Paul Walker and Vincent Diesel in Fast N Furious. Channing Tatum can do parkour tricks like Spider-Man. Jonah Hill is insane dude
Seth’s laugh is beyond iconic at this point! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
such a great movie
August 2007 my Final Year as a 12th Grade Senior Year in High School before the Olympics and College.

I remember thinking "urgh, another fucking American Pie-knockoff? Let's get ready to be dissappointed", only to be surprised with one of my most favourite films of that era. Loved the humour, it was relatable in a way. Awesome movie!
jona then and jona now... one of them hate the either... he looks good these days good for u
Yay I get to be first nice love this movie I’d love a sequel years later.
Hey its You, Mcmuffin.
"and somehow we landed on McLovin." Wow, what an interesting origin story!
I love this movie 🎥 so funny 😂
Crazy thos took more than 6 years to make
Best movie ever
0:50 This is one of the best comedies of all time. Can't believe Hollywood didn't want to make for so long🤔🤔🤔
They never wanted to make it, but Rogan got too powerful to ignore anymore.
Johnah hill as cartman, michael cera as stan or kyle
“MCLOVIN. Whyyy?!”
I wanna see more comedy films like this to be made in the future. I mean we got Barbie but does that count?
Guysss i need that kind of films lmaoo Would you like share some
An all time classic. Very underrated
Underrated? By who? What are you even talking about?

Wrote it in high school…explains why it’s so real and authentic. Just doing dumb shit, yet entertained
McLovin is Red Mist
Classic.
I remember in high school , i found a gym card for gym but the name was Mayer spears I remember using it, I am Mexicano American. People look at me, it can happen. That was 1980
I use to be a drug dealer n sold crack an coke n all my customers would call me mclovin Fogle and glasses
Holy smokes Emma looked exactly like Lindsey Lohan

Bruh seth rogan is'nt even an actual cop but does fantastically a cop laugh 😂
Seriously they wrote that in Highschool some things are just meant to be. What an absolutely unbelievable movie. Instantly a cult classic.
What an amazing origin story! We wanted something funny. Brilliant
Seth Rogan is the Dane Cook of my generation
What’s insane to me is Jonah Hill played a high schooler and Seth Rogen played a cop, when they’re only one year apart from each other.
I wonder how people can take seth rogen seriously by saying something and then laughing like that. Probably what happens is that people found it so funny that they they cant push him away.
I had a friend that when they asked his birth date for the fake id he gave them his real birthdate so it said he was 16 still.
Their laugh 💀
Man, legit up there with the greatest comedy movie ever made
I watched a friend of mine use that ID to get into a bar😂
Back when I lived in Vancouver I worked with a guy who was friends with Rogan. He was also friends with the guy on which the McLovin character was based. They all went to high school together.
MCLOVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN
I want to see Jonah Hill’s body double.
Fun fact: McLovin’s birthday is my birthday!
Emma Stone was way hotter in this movie, you know, before she got all super skinny
I remember during the myspace years my cousin made his username mclovin and I said to my self, That is the stupidest name I have ever heard. Until years later I saw this movie and said to myself.... Oh now I see where he got the name from. I get it now! 😂
My homies r people i never met in real life. I want to make movies.
