It all came together. Fabulous music, seamless sleek screenplay, terrific new actors, spot on camera work and dynamite editing. The overall energy of the film brought us back to our glory days which is not an easy thing to accomplish. I am not much of a Seth Rogan fan, but Seth deserves credit for this work of art. One of my top 10 favorite movies ever. The dude who plays the obnoxious old drunk guy should be given an award for making people piss themselves laughing.
Watched this for the first time with some friends at a sleepover when I was 11. We saw this and Stepbrothers in the same night, probably the funniest 4-5 hours of my life.
I love superbad, it's a movie so realistic and intimate while also being funny and memorable af. One of my dreams is to make a movie like this one someday
You must think think that there are only movies you see in hollywood and the oscars, you'd be surprised the amount of movies that are made every year around the world and the amount of people that work to make them. And it doesn't matter if a dream is hard to achieve, that should't stop you from having it

My memory of Vancouver is also subway, and dropping a meatball on the sidewalk at like 2 in the morning, eating the meatball then saying to a group of people, “don’t worry, I’m American.”
They did such a great job of painting a typical American high school experience. The struggle to get alcohol. Parties thrown at a student's house when his parents are out of town. Always trying to get laid. Talking in the manner they do. Counting every individual secks act you've done. It's so on point which makes it so good.
These two can drive like Paul Walker and Vincent Diesel in Fast N Furious. Channing Tatum can do parkour tricks like Spider-Man. Jonah Hill is insane dude
Back when I lived in Vancouver I worked with a guy who was friends with Rogan. He was also friends with the guy on which the McLovin character was based. They all went to high school together.
Don’t forget Clarke Duke from Sex Drive and Hot Tub Time Machine played an extra in this movie as a random friend. If you watch closely you can find him in a few scenes.
I remember thinking "urgh, another fucking American Pie-knockoff? Let's get ready to be dissappointed", only to be surprised with one of my most favourite films of that era. Loved the humour, it was relatable in a way. Awesome movie!
