I honestly thought that this game was in 1943-45 and thought no way bitter could defeat the soviets, but then i realised that its just 1939 august...
Dude rushed so hard the actual WWII didnt even start yet lmao
When I watched the first minute of this video, it did not dawn on me that this was 1939 and not 1945. Everything went kaput so fast for him, but Bitter is just a genius at HOI4.
I mean anyone with micro skill could do whata he did. Endsieg mod in 1945 is harder than this but it's still easily beatable because the AI is trash.
Noticed it was 39 at the beginning, why I’m thinking the dude probably just let it get like that then sent it to bitter hoping it would get played
@@Kattalanonyt Microing is actually pretty difficult under certain circumstances. Microing in THIS playthrough seemed especially difficult since he played with a Germany that had less than 50 factories, was 19% away from capping, and only had 110 divisions.

@@ТимурИсмагилов-х5з I agree it is annoying, especially if you play as a major like the USSR because frontlines can suck and the AI goes crazy burning causalities.
Imagine being a German paratrooper in 1939. It looks like the war is going to be over before it even starts properly. And then some guy you haven’t seen before takes away your parachute and gives you more guns and says “Congratulations! You’re now an infantry unit!”

The devs should have added generalgovernment in Poland as a reichskommisariat
They planned for it to have a separate tag but never went through with it (as evidenced by the existence of GGV as a folder in the leaders folder)

I think that overall most disaster saves aren't too difficult, usually you can leave one side on the defensive and attack on the other and the AI doesn't have the intelligence to spearhead an attack on a weak point as opposed to just attacking the whole front then losing org, then it just becomes a victory lap going around nations and capping them which is entertaining sure but still pretty easy
Yeah it's a shame the AI isn't a little bit better tbh. Would make the game a lot more interesting after the first couple play throughs once you get the hang of it

Germany is just ridiculusly powerful. The other day I had lenghty war with them, in 1945 they had about 20 mil casualties and still were able to push me a bit out of France.
had a game as communist china where germany in 1946/1947 had around 30k fighters.. if it wasnt for the "Sun Tzu Reborn" achievement, I wouldn't have bothered with germany but.. you gotta do what you gotta do *shrug*
Just today i played Germany for a long time in months and got a collab on US and got 900 factories by 1940
CHALLENGE: As Trotskyist Russia defeat the axis, here's the twist. Your units will be 1 infantry and one support artillery. Your only grace is you have complete control of your air design, your shock troops of which you will have only 5, are 30 width motorized of your choosing. Say hello to 1000 infantry divisions!!

It's because Germany is super strong in 1939 this guy restricted himself too much without knowing how to do his restrictions effectively.
Because this really isn’t a terribly hard disaster save, the only reason why it got this bad is because of harsh restrictions that bittersteel decided not to follow and he really only had weak enemies in mainland Europe

I think it'd be interesting and fun if you tried uniting China in Kaiserreich but with a twist! You have do it as the Kumul Khanate (that little country in Xinjiang) and do the Ma Zhongying path
Hi Bitt3r! I know that making these videos cost you a lot of time to make and a lot of effort. I was wondering, have you considered using the medal feature to promote the members' troops? Or just showing off those member troops who earned the most medal during the campaigns? I think it would be pretty awesome, don't you think? Only if it's not too much of a hassle ofc.

Hey bitter, i have a challenge for you: as Switzerland, conquer Germany, Italy, and France without joining a faction.
I don't think anyone will see this but there is a better way to naval invade the British. Instead of using any German ports you use the Dutch one at the top of Netherlands (Leeuwarden) because for some reason the game will think the only sea you need to control is the North sea this will allow to focus your navy solely in the North Sea tiles. Hope this helps you or anyone who sees this.

Oh btw, since you complained releasing Ukraine messed up your frontlines, sometimes when frontlines are split like that (due to releasing puppets), if you drag the two frontline starting points back together, they should join back into one single frontline order.

But what if you could ask the Modder to rename the "Crack Unit" Unit Names, as far as I know every nation has the "Crack Unit" Name Template, and they could be overwritten with a "Language" Mod (Just an Idea, hope this helps)
I have no patience for this game. So this fascinates me. Every time USA joins before I can knock out the UK I just abandon this game for like half a year and go do something else.

I mean I just went with Germany. And accidentally went to war against allies. Yes. Accidentally. Having *everything* on my eastern border. And as I have started to do Auschluss etc at speed, I had a *lot* of under-equipped forces. France got over Reims before I even noticed. Yeah, I got them pretty fast. Now I'm in US, ruling over much of the world even before molotov-ribbentrop. Need to get USA and I try to do that before war with the soviets... currently I can handle 48 divisions from scratch fully equipped by the time the training goes through, so I dunno. Might be interesting eh :D

When he said count cristo sent this I was like, how tf can bittersteel salvage a game that count cristo couldn't. i'm not saying that bittersteel id a bad player, he's in fact an amazing player but, I dont think he could beat the guy who beated endieg and raganrok in a singleplayer game. Then it made sense.
@TruckerDave650 yes, that is true, but count cristo played on extreme dificulty(the equivelente dificulty) on both chalenges.

@Count Cristo I mean I don't watch your content that much, but I did partialy watch your endsieg and ragnarok and I have enough of an understanding of the hoi4 mechanics to know how absurd those chalanges are (one less than the other of course). Hey i got a question for you. I’ve been playing hoi4 recently and i don’t know how t get more divisions. I see this man have like 10 generals while i only have five. I go to the recruit and deploy and select troops and deploy them to selected areas but they’re not appearing or getting into my general’s divisions. Can someone tell me what am i doing wrong
