I heard twice in my life ( i'm 66 years ) God's voice. I didn't ask anything, I was just very sad and depressed. Suddenly I heard a Voice so loud and so profound but very gentle ( difficult to explain these opposites at once ). He called me by my name and said some very private things to comfort me. His voice seemed to fill all the space in the universe ,I heard it internally and externally, there was no doubt because it was so clear and each cell of my body resonated. So yes it's possible to hear God's Voice ,but it doesn't depend on our wish or prayer. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

After my husband died I wondered what was my purpose now since I was 81 and felt I had nothing to offer. I heard a voice that seemed to come from within say, “You’re purpose is to be a loving presence.”
When I enter true alignment, as I call it , it is like having an experience or event, or a conclusion I know that is source because I get the hugest, endorphin rush, and become absolutely blissful. Now I am an older woman, a senior, and it has taking me a while to understand how I converse with the divine. Another experience of the divine is when I’m in conversation with someone and something quite astounding comes out of my mouth and I recognize it’s not from my ego self. I have read a number of authors of books that say they didn’t exactly write the book, it was more an inspiration rather than thoughts from the self.🇨🇦🙏

Yes, my experience was 4 years ago. I sat down in meditation for 40 minutes and for the first time lost myself in silence. When my eyes opened I realized- it was the first time I sat in peace and did not battle a thinking mind. As I woke up the next morning at 6:00am before my eyes opened I heard a voice say- gently familiar, believe. I heard it as a voice that was speaking to me. It was a soft, lovely voice. ❤

Try this… Go for a long walk alone and think about the sort of spiritual question you want answered. As soon as you ask the question instantly answer it yourself. Allow no delay or the ego will slip in and answer it. Practice. If you get this right sometimes the Absolute will answer the question and you’ll be in no doubt about where the intuition came from. You’ll think ‘Wow, if you’d asked me that question five minutes ago I’d never have come up with that answer!’ It resonates will the core of your being. That’s why He said ‘The sheep know my voice.’

I was watching TV late in the evening and suddenly I remembered I had to wake up very early the next day. I then silently thought to myself “God please help me wake up early tomorrow”. At once the guy in the TV went “who do you think I am, your alarm clock”.
Many years ago a baby belonging to friends was choking to death in front of me. I tried to help but it wasn't working. Then in my right ear i heard a voice that told me exactly what to do. I did as instructed without question and was able to save the baby. I was pretty freaked out about the whole experience, choking baby and the mystery voice. Ive heard the voice a couple more times since but not in emergency situations.
Yes!! This happens.. I was saved from a knife attack at Glastonbury festival after hearing a voice saying look to your left. I looked.. saw this man I’d been confronted by 2 mins earlier being passed an 8 inch blade. I’d probably be dead now if it wasn’t for that instruction.. I bolted out the rave tent and as I did the crowds miraculously parted for me and created a gap for me to duck under and leave the area.. felt gods presence as I left the tent.

yes, God is communicating with us in various ways, also as a form of voice(Rupert described it quite well), communication also can be felt as an energy wave which flows through your body and skin(known as spiritual chills), or the lyrics of the song which deeply corresponds with You, or you keep on seeing heart shaped things when you're out in nature, or You keep on seeing matched numbers, that's some of the ways God is communicating with me. God is Love, TRUST
I would go deeper and endorse that yes, god does 'speak to us' (as a concession that there is a god separate from us) and this is heard and experienced differently depending on how separate the person themselves, feels. So if you are still at the stage of feeling separate then you will tend more towards hearing the insight/wisdom as a separate voice which is not your own. But if you already live this Understanding - and many of us do without ever having been taught it formally(!) - the you will just hear and experience it as 'another thought'. When I was 15 I was into slalom kayaking and once in winter I capsized as a novice at this and I was hurtling down rapids at a speed of knots underwater stuck in my kayak. I probably had less than a minute of air, and I had a clear message 'there is a boat coming up to your right, stick your arm up above the water, hook your arm over it and DO NOT LET GO, WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH HANG ON AND PULL UP'. I, of course, had no other option but to follow the thought/message and pulled off what is called 'an eskimo rescue which apparently normally takes a lot of tuition to teach! I also was in a car crash once spinning down the road and had the clear message 'LET GO OF THE STEERING WHEEL;YOU ARE NOT IN CONTROL'. I did so, without question (yet something which you WOULD normally question!) and I survived something which I really should not have survived, missing all oncoming cars and flying up an embankment in deep snow, missing all obstacles. At the time, I experienced these more like a sudden message from 'another voice' to save my life. As I've got older and more open to Oneness, I do not hear a voice, but merely I 'have thoughts...and I understand that ALL thoughts are Divine...because that's all there is. Literally all thoughts...this is exactly, why at a certain level of advancement in meditation, thoughts are absolutely not problematic (once you've moved beyond the negative chattering egoic ones) - but rather they are absolutely DIRECTING us where to go. I sat up straight and a voice filled the sky although it was not particularly loud, but it was an angry voice and there was no question that it was directed at me. ' Who are you to look upon me? Yes, this happened to me, I heard a voice that I could not identify as mine or anybody else’s, neither male nor female, and it spoke in an ancient rhyme. Today i’m comfortable as thinking of it as the voice of god.
Consciousness takes forms that are much closer to God (vibrationally speaking) than the human form. Just as another human form can speak to you, these higher vibrational forms can speak to you as well and you might perceive them as “God” because they can appear or sound in all sorts of exotic forms. Not all would be the same aspect of God however, so not all will represent the highest form of God i.e. the “god” in the Bible that asked for people to be killed and sacrificed. It wasn’t always the same “god” communicating in the bible as there are also high vibrational beings that are not so nice… But yes, imo, it stands to reason that there is indeed a highest finite form that God can embody and speak through, even if there’s still one level “above” that which is infinite

I think that voice is usually elusive and goes unnoticed; not distinct.....it's the "voice of reason" / intuition ; small voice in our mind........almost like a HINT as opposed to tangible evidence or command
This is how u test the God phenomena. Build a room in the form of a dungeon. Make sure that it only has 1 entrance which is also its exit. Then, put the most sophisticated lock that money can possibly buy on its door. The only way this lock can open, of course, will b either a key or a digital code. After all this is created. Find a trustworthy friend and give him either the key that opens that door or the digital code. Then, lock urself in room without any food or water & tell ur friend not to open the door till u literally call him. Now, once u r in room, stay in there as long as u can survive without food & water & now test ur God theory by praying to him instead of calling ur friend to open the door. I did so, without question (yet something which you WOULD normally question!) and I survived something which I really should not have survived, missing all oncoming cars and flying up an embankment in deep snow, missing all obstacles. At the time, I experienced these more like a sudden message from 'another voice' to save my life. As I've got older and more open to Oneness, I do not hear a voice, but merely I 'have thoughts...and I understand that ALL thoughts are Divine...because that's all there is. Literally all thoughts...this is exactly, why at a certain level of advancement in meditation, thoughts are absolutely not problematic (once you've moved beyond the negative chattering egoic ones) - but rather they are absolutely DIRECTING us where to go. In the case of some of the main religions, theses voices were something very real. Not simbols or archetypes, but there were human extra terrestials speaking directly to ancient people.

Yes, this happened to me, I heard a voice that I could not identify as mine or anybody else’s, neither male nor female, and it spoke in an ancient rhyme. Today i’m comfortable as thinking of it as the voice of god.

Consciousness takes forms that are much closer to God (vibrationally speaking) than the human form. Just as another human form can speak to you, these higher vibrational forms can speak to you as well and you might perceive them as “God” because they can appear or sound in all sorts of exotic forms.
Not all would be the same aspect of God however,
so not all will represent the highest form of God i.e. the “god” in the Bible that asked for people to be killed and sacrificed. It wasn’t always the same “god” communicating in the bible as there are also high vibrational beings that are not so nice…
But yes, imo, it stands to reason that there is indeed a highest finite form that God can embody and speak through, even if there’s still one level “above” that which is infinite
God open Himself and speak with us if we believe and love Him, but at the same time the faith and love are a gift that God bestow to us. I think that voice is usually elusive and goes unnoticed; not distinct.....it's the "voice of reason" / intuition ; small voice in our mind........almost like a HINT as opposed to tangible evidence or command
This is how u test the God phenomena. Build a room in the form of a dungeon. Make sure that it only has 1 entrance which is also its exit. Then, put the most sophisticated lock that money can possibly buy on its door. The only way this lock can open, of course, will b either a key or a digital code. After all this is created. Find a trustworthy friend and give him either the key that opens that door or the digital code. Then, lock urself in room without any food or water & tell ur friend not to open the door till u literally call him. Now, once u r in room, stay in there as long as u can survive without food & water & now test ur God theory by praying to him instead of calling ur friend to open the door. What do u think is going to happen 100% of the time? R u going to pray to God to free u from the room or r u going to literally pray to ur friend? Now, b sincere & not delusional! There!
