thank you Francis for this clearness on the topic of the 'ping-pong" game and getting clearness on the level of thought. When one is suffering a severe f.i. chronical illness that wares out it means taking rest (the one hour time out Francis described earlier), breathing deeply and try to get clearness in the mind (feel but not reduce oneself to the illness, the panic, the pain, the limitations of the bodily feelings) that brings rest in the body and makes you feel clearer. The baby will cry less when the ping-pong is weakened. Thanks!!
It's more like: There is no proof that your reality does not also experience everything else. So I would put a distinction between "you" (the totality of your phenomenal perceptions) and between the reality of this perceiving. I can't link a really nice video in which Francis uses that fancy higher reasoning on this topic, because of the spam filter of UA-cam, but you can find it under the title: "one Consciousness, different minds".
If you reduce the body to sensations (beating, tingling…) and the tree to perceptions (seeing and maybe touching), you’ll notice that there is no separation between perceiving and sensing. Both activities appear in consciousness, and are “made” of consciousness.
Its universal but the reality perceived through the sense organs give a kind of limited experience. All the gadgets (microscope to telescope) kind of expand this experience but it will never tell what is consciousness is. Turn inwards (turn to source that is with in you)
Can someone please elaborate on how to be clear on the sense of separation from thoughts, body sensations and sense perceptions? So far it seems that thoughts/body sensations/sense perceptions all arise and disappear in consciousness. I can't know anything about consciousness because anything I can know would be an appearance. Yet there is fear of not having enough, fear of things not going the way I want them to. I am often afraid of pain and painful experiences both physically and emotionally. I am looking for a sense of safety and comfort so I can be resilient in the face of change. Is this identification on the level of thoughts, sensations, or perceptions?
Consciousness is the source that powers or gives energy to all the senses organs. I would say, not just the sense organs but also the physical and subtle bodies (mind).
I think what you're describing is the human experience. I don't think we're supposed to have a flatline experience devoid of pain, fear, pleasure, joy, etc.
You existed even before this body and you will exist even after this body. There is a confusion here, between mind and the reality it perceive through sense organs.
Consciouness is real and yet it is not physical and it is everywhere. It manifests into matter, anything from a fundamental partical to galaxies. One such manifestation is human being... If the mind turn outwards through sense organs you will see this wordly reality and If the mind turn inwards you will experience the consciouness in the form of bliss body. It is as simple as this...

One question Francis, why reality (Being) can not be unaware ? Isn't it that we are limiting reality(Being) by saying that it is awareness always.
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you.

If I am universal consciousness, then why can I only feel the sensations of my body and not the sensations of the tree outside?

¿ Y quién o qué, me dice que la sensación agradable de ver un árbol me pertenece ? (Ya estoy sintiéndome separado.)

@robertogallicchio -oh wow, this just clarified something about visual perception that I’ve been hung up on. Thank you!
Thank you! I've a doubt.. is this sense of seperation actually a resistance? a resistance to the reality of consciousness?
It is a game, played by consciousness and he loves it.

I think this video is on the topic: "Let the Baby Cry - facing uncomfortable feelings in the body".

No, it’s not. There has been turning inwards thousands of times with no finding of bliss.
