I guess it's quite off topic but do anyone know a good place to watch newly released series online?
@Marcellus Matteo try FlixZone. Just search on google for it =)
@Talon Kylan yup, I've been watching on FlixZone for since april myself =)
@Talon Kylan thanks, I went there and it seems like a nice service :D I appreciate it !!
I am quite impressed with how good those wheels look.
Thank you.
You’re so talented my love. So proud of you!
Thank you Wifey ❤
Yeeeesss! That color looks so good on the white!
Wish I had your patience when it comes to prep work!
Thanks Josh. It's hard not to want to rush prep, but worth it in the end.
Can’t believe how nice the finish was wouldn’t never have guessed it was a spray paint job
Thank you, I am very happy with it even 1 year later. I appreciate for commenting and watching it mean a lot to me. Thank you 😀
Looks great! I was on the fence about painting my wheels this color, but I’m certain I’ll go this route!
Thanks, I really like the bronze color. It's the perfect shade of bronze. Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support 👊🤟
Was so confused whether to go gold or bronze but after seeing this video definitely bronze. Turned out great. Good video 👍
Thank you. I love the color of this bronze it is perfect. I have some new wheel now that are lighter bronze. I prefer the Dupli-color bronze way better. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support 👊🤟
Thanks so much for this video man. Getting ready to paint my wheels today and needed to see all the prep work that goes into it!
Thank You 🙏 I appreciate the kind words. If you have any questions let me know and I will do my best to help. You can Message me on Instagram if you have that. Thanks for watching and commenting 🤟
Fantastic work! overall even spray and great look once on the car. Also - great prep work.
Thank you. Prep work is the hardest/longest process but it is worth it for a great look. Thank you I appreciate the comment. Thanks for watching. 😊
Love the bronze color on the white car. Planning on painting my wheels on my Golf once the weather breaks. Great job
Thank you 🙏 Yes I agree bronze and white is a great combo. What year golf? I have a 2011 vw golf United grey with green wheels
CZ_Mate I have a 2013 Golf R. Bought it so I wouldn’t have to drive my truck so much but I really like it more than I though I would. I haven’t decided on if I’m going to paint the wheels black or bronze yet but I’m definitely painting them this spring.
Nice a Golf R 👍 those are cool. Thanks for watching and i hope you enjoy my other video and subscribe. 🙏😀
That color is a great bronze. Nice job
It's my favorite bronze 🥉 🔥👊🤟
That bronze color looks great
It's a great shade of bronze. Thanks for the support recently
Alright you’ve convinced me I’m going bronze
Bronze FTW 😁 I am glad my video could help you decide on a color. I am super happy with the color of bronze it is. I have new wheel that are lighter bronze. The Dupli-color is bronze is a great shade. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support. 👊 🤟
Those turned hot 🔥🔥 the bronze looks great
I love that Duplicolor Bronze. It looks good.
Good job with the paint and vid!
🙏 Thank you for commenting and watching. I appreciate it a lot. Hope you enjoy my other videos. Thanks again 👊🤟
They turned out killer!
I appreciate it. I love the duplicator bronze it's a great shade of bronze. I loved the way these looked on the Integra while I had the wheels
Hey man, nice job! Do you have any more bottles of that Bronze wheel coat you'd sell me? I need some for a project but it's out of stock.
Thank you. No I don't sorry. Just bought enough for the project.
@@CZMate Thanks for the reply! How has the paint held up? Does it withstand powerwashing?
Held up amazing. Prep work is key. Yea I used a pressure washer for washing my car and it was good
@@CZMate good to know!! Hope it comes back in stock soon 👍 thanks again
Those turned out awesome. I'm going to be painting my stock G37s wheels this same color after I get the curb rash out.
Nice. I love the color. Its a great shade of bronze
Should i use prime or just 500 sand them then paint with your paint you got i like the color and gloss
I didn't use primer because I never took it down to bare metal. I sanded them down. Got them all scuffed up good and painted them. Never had any issue with paint flaking or anything. Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support 👊🤟
Sand blast first?
Look incredible..used to run these on the back when drag racing..super light!
No I didn't sandblast them. Just did everything in the video to get them prep for paint. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Bro that looks dope!! I’m about to scrape 3 layers of paint off my HX rims. Can only hope they’ll come out 1/8 as good as yours did. Incredible!!
🙌 Thank You, I really like how this Bronze looks it's a great color. Good luck with your wheels. Just remember prep work is one of the most important things. Let me know if you have any questions. You can message me on Instagram if you have that. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate the support
@@CZMate thanks man. I actually do have questions lol. My prep work was terrible and I’m redoing it 3-4 times.
But wow, again these wheels look incredible. I’d want the same finish, just a different color, to match my grey civic.
What is your question, sorry if I don't understand. What would you like to know about the prep work
Love this color!!
Time to do the CRV wheels 😉
just sand and paint? no primer? they came out great brotha 🤝🏽 plan on doing the same thing for my stock 2nd gen 4runner wheels after watching your video!
Primer isn't needed if the wheels still have paint on them and you didn't take then to bare metal. The paint lasted the whole time I owned the wheels. Thanks for commenting and supporting.
Damn that looks good... good job!!
Thank you. I appreciate the support
Great job 👍👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support
Hey dude real nice video. Do you mind me asking how many cans on base and clear you used?
Thank you. I bought 4 cans of base, i ended up using 3. But my wheels are only 14". I only used 1 can of clear.
CZ_Mate cheers!
Gorgeous
👊🤟
Looks great...i used the same color on my white colorado but it came out more gold than a bronze..yours looks alot better..i guess it all depends on whose hand the can is in.....👍
Thank you I appreciate it 🤟 I love the color. I sold those wheel and got some Rota bronze wheels that are a lot lighter. The duplicolor bronze looks better imo. Thanks for commenting and watching. 🤟👊
Nice work they do look good. Think I'll use the same colour and technique to do mine. Next vid of my car should have nice bronze wheels.
Thank you, I love this color of bronze. It looks really good. Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support. 👊🤟
I know this is several years too late, but in all how much did it cost and how long did it take?
I used 3-4 cans I think they were around $10 each. The other supplies cost let's say another $10-20. Around $50-60 probably. You can probably get away with 3 cans on smaller wheel like this. I like to get good heavy coat of paint on. If you don't do all the filling of dents it would take a afternoon to do. Hope this helps. From what I heard they don't sell the Bronze color anymore. DM me on Instagram if you have anymore questions
That color looks great. Also wow you had short hair 😂 new subscriber looking at older videos
I really like the shade of bronze from this can. It looked great. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support 👊🤟
You did an amazing job
Thanks. I appreciate that. Thank you for watching and commenting
Those look good! I was wondering if you need to use primer when repainting wheels with this stuff
Thanks you. When I did my Civic wheels I took it to bare metal so I primed those. But these I just roughed up the original paint and sprayed them. They still look great and no issues. At least 20k miles on it. Thanks for watching and commenting
Looks fantastic! I'd like to do mine this colour. Did you use any primer?
Thank you, no primer was used. The metal cast would be sprayed over the bare metal. But I used their base coat silver to make sure it was all one solid color. Thank you for watching and commenting. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. 👊🤟
great job man they look awsome
Thank you 🙏 I appreciate it. I love how the color turned out and the paint still looks just as good. Hope you like my other video. 👊
@@CZMate I have those same rims on my 00 green civic in white not sure if to leave them white or paint them
I like white wheels but man a pain to keep clean. They have a few different colors of the wheel paint. I almost did them the gun metal grey. Thanks again for watching and commenting
Came out very good how many spray cans of base did you use??
I can't remember. I know I bought 4 cans and normally for bigger wheels I do 1 can a wheel. For these I might of used only 3 but I would say buy 4 to be safe. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@CZMate ok thanks for the info
👊🤟 of course thanks for watching and supporting
What color bronze did you use? I like the dark bronze . Not that bright gold looking version
It's Dupli-color High Performance Bronze paint. Thank you for your support and commenting. I appreciate it
Did it hold up okay on the other wheels, without the clear coat?
It held up amazing. No issues at all.
Great work!!! What kind of spot putty did you use? Thanks
Thank you. I just picked it up at o'reilly I think. Just a quick dry spot putty. You can get it pretty much anywhere they sell painting Stuff. I think walmart even has a section of bodywork stuff. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it. Let me know if you have any other questions. 👊 🤟
Wasn’t sure if the colour was right, but it definitely is!! Will be ordering this paint because of this video, they should pay you! Lmao
🙏 Thank you for the kind words. I love the color it turned out amazing. I have different wheels now and wish the bronze was more like the dupli-color bronze. I appreciate the support. Thanks for watching and commenting 👊 🤟
How many cans of the bronze did you use and also the clear
I think it was 1 can per a wheel. Maybe 3 they were only 14" wheel. I did a lot of coats because I always do. But normally it's good to have 1 can per a wheel for bigger sizes. I can't remember if I cleared them but probably only 1-2 cans of clear. Thanks for watching and commenting. Let me know if you have any other questions
How long did you wait in between the coats? About 10 mins or so?
I wait around 15 min between coats.
And what grit was that scotch, any links? Job looks amazing btw
You can use light gray or maroon scotch brite pads. The gray is equivalent to about 600-800 and the maroon is like 300-400.
Here is the maroon pads on Amazon. I just did a fast search and pick it because people like using Amazon. www.amazon.com/Scotch-Brite-07447-General-Purpose-3468-T34562FD222085/dp/B01M97NU9S/ref=asc_df_B01M97NU9S/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198063854780&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4751345730052242745&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1027744&hvtargid=pla-388447330719&psc=1
How has the paint held up man?
Great, both my Integra & Civic were painted with this paint and zero issues. Thank for watching and commenting. I appreciate it
How many cans of primer, paint & clearcoat do I need? I want to paint my wheels like you bro
I used 3 cans of paint in these (14" wheels) and 1 can if clear. I just scuffed up the original paint so I didn't need to use primer. I always buy 4 cans of paint 1 for each wheel to be safe. And 1-2 cans of clear, it matters how many layers you want. Hope this helps, thanks for watching and commenting
Very nice
Thanks. 😁 Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support 👊 🤟
Yo that looks very good!
Thank you. I really like the shade of bronze this paint is. I also painted the wheels on my Project Ej1 with it. Thanks for commenting and watching. I appreciate the support 👊🤟
@@CZMate subbed! I just got some DA gsr rims for my ej8 thinking about either polishing it or going with bronze. Decisions, decisions! Lol
That's a hard decision. Polished looks good and this Bronze look good too. I think you would be happy with this bronze if you decide to go that way. Thanks for the support and for subscribing. I will be doing a 1k giveaway once I get there. So share my page with friends 😁 Most likely be for some Function Form LCA
Looks nice
Thanks, I was really happy with the look. I kind of miss it but couldn't pass up the deal for the wheels I have now. Thanks again for watching and commenting.
Looks great man. Did you spray the backs or no?
Thanks. No I didn't, it my daily and don't pull the wheel off and clean the inner wheel often. If it was a more open wheel I probably would of done it. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it 🤟
Did you wet sand the whole lot? Spot putty and then the paint without primer?
Yes. Wet sand, putty over a few spots and painted them. They have been holding up great. Thank you for commenting and watching. Let me know if you have any more questions
I thought there would be bonding issues without primer, how many cans did you end up using for four wheels?
Do you need primer first or does the paint stick well
The paint was fine without primer because I scuffed the original paint that was on the wheels. On the wheels I did for the Civic I took it down to bare metal so I use primer on those. But to answer your question yes the paint stocked well and never had I problem with them for the 2 years I had them on the car. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support 👊
Turned out great. Like the color you picked
The shade of the bronze is perfect
This is so tight dude
Thank you. I appreciate the kind words. Thank you for watching and commenting. Thank you for the support 👊🤟
Did you use primer
No primer was used, never took it down to bare metal. Thanks for the support
Did you have any rubbing issues with these wheels on the brake calipers?
I am using a 5mm spacer for the front. I was getting mix info online. Some say 3mm will work, some say 5mm. So I played it safe.
CZ_Mate nice ! I just picked up a set of Hx wheels, will be painting them using your instructions
Did you need to run extending lug nuts ? Where the spacers plug in play ?
Indeed there is a lot of mixed info online 😅
No extended lugs, My tire guy said any more the 5mm I would need to. I bought hub centric spacers, i would only recommend hub centric because it is sized for your hub and there is no play. If you have any more questions you can message me on Instagram @CZ_Mate that way i ca send pics to you too if needed. Hope this helps
kind of random question, but does this paint work well on 'plastic'. I have a new set of aerocap covers for my Model 3 and would like to paint them a different color :) any info is much appreciated!
It should work for plastic too. If anything you could get some plastic spray adhesion promoter to spray down first. Thanks for watching and commenting. Let me know if you need anything else. 👊🤟
@@CZMate oh awesome! thanks for replying back, I will definitely look into that 😎
Of course. I try to get back as fast as I can. You can always message me on Instagram too. I don't get notifications for comments inside comments like this one. But whenever I answer always look back after times.
@@CZMate totally understandable! do you have Twitter or something? I rarely use my insta for anything other than business :)
No I don't. If you have any other questions just comment and I will get back to you. (If you make it a new comment I will get notifications)
How much did you pay for those wheels? Or how much should I pay for a used one?
I got a great deal on them. I think $80, I have seen them for sell for around $200 sometimes more. I would just look on Facebook marketplace and keep a eye out on a deals. $200 seems like a good deal. That is what i sold them for when I did sell them.
@@CZMate ok thank you Bro, there's is a set right now I'm looking at the price $150 so I guess I better get my but off the bed and go after them LOL
@@IshMotorparts that is a good deal. Glad I could help. If you have any other questions you can always message me on Instagram @CZ_Mate Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support. 👊
@@CZMate hey Bro, guess what? I just come back from buying mine they are in very good shape and played $100 them I'll try to make a video of them if I get time, thank you for your support and encouragement
That is great. The HX wheels look great I kind of miss the look of them. 👊
Any clear coat or no? I bought the same color but still deciding if I should get the clear coat
Yea I used clear coat. It was duplicolor clear. I think it was their wheels series, it is in the video. You can check out my IG @CZ_Mate and compare my Civic (same color no clear) and these on Integra that are cleared. Thanks for commenting hope you enjoy and subscribe
@@CZMate how many cans did you end up using aswell? , I followed you on IG!
3 cans I think. I know I bought 4. And 1 can of clear. My wheels are small they are only 14" but most of the time 1 can let a wheel and 1-2 cans of clear. I went light on the clear.
@@CZMate how's the paint holding up almost a year later? They look great by the way. I was going to plastidip my stock 4runner trail wheels but this inspired me to actually do paint.
They held up great, just like when I first painted them. I drive at least 25k on them and they are still great. (Well just sold them 2 weeks ago got new wheels) but I am super happy with the duplicolor wheel paint. Sorry just notice this comment. I don't alerts for comments inside of comments.
U the man
👊 thank you. Glad you enjoyed the video. 👍😀
How many cans u use to do the job?
I bought 4 cans I think I ended up using 3. They are smaller wheels 14". I always say buy 4 cans one for a wheel. I like to do heavy coats too so it is more durable. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate the support. 👊 🤟

How many can dupli color on 4 rims?
I think I used 3 cans but I always say grab 4. These were only 14" wheels. I like to do a lot of coats. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching and commenting 🤟👊
Sccchhhhhtteeeeeeven
👊🏼
Subbed 🤙
Thanks 👍 Hope you enjoy my older videos and the new ones to come.
They hit the front calipers huh
You need spacers to fit. I put the 5mm spacers on but I heard and read 3mm will work. I just wanted to play it safe. I also read you can grind down part of the caliper but that isn't worth it to me. The hub centric spacers were like $15. Thanks for watching and commenting. Let me know if you have any other questions. 👊 🤟
@@CZMate I had some washers that worked.lol
I would recommend getting some hub centric spacers for it. To keep the wheel from moving. I have heard about people doing that tho.
Did you just use 1 bottle
I bought 4 cans and used 3 I think. My wheels are small only 14" and I did a lot of good coats. I say 4 cans should be enough for most wheel sizes.
Are these 16”?
They are 14" 😁 They are the Honda Civic HX wheels. They are the lightest wheel Honda made. How that helps, let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching 👊 🤟
@@CZMate I have 16” Alessio wheels. And I am wondering about antique brass color on them. I just didnt know if 16” isnt too small for this color :D Sound weird but hopefully makes sens. Another bad thing is that i cannot find this type of color in Czechia 😨
This color would look on any size wheel. Is there no way you can order it online? Amazon? thanks again for the support 👊 🤟
Is this peelable like plastidip?
No it is not. It is normal paint. Thanks for watching and commenting. Let me know if you have any more questions 🤟
For anyone else installing hx wheels on their integra. 3mm spacers in the front is all you need

I settled for gold and now i regret it.
Gold is a good color too. What color car was it on? I love the bronze, that why both my Civic wheels and Integra are both bronze 🙂
Dark grey, the gold is just too bright, i like the more subtle look of the bronze, so im just gonna order it online and be patient.
Nice, glad this video helped you out by seeing the color. Check out my other videos and let me know what you think.
Bronze is is what i wanted originally, buT got impatient when i couldn't find it in stores.
O'Reilly is where I ordered mine from. I think I got it the next day.
Step one of painting wheels - always remove the tires.
You don't have to. Its your choice if you want to
