I just fixed my mother's stove.
She had asked a technician for repairs, but he said it'd cost 750 reais (around 200 dollars) saying that the PCB should be replaced. It was kinda too expensive so I decided to just take it on my own hands.
After I opened and inspected it, turned out that it was just a simple mechanical problem on the button wheel. The issue was fixed by basically twisting the tip of a plastic rod at the end of the shaft connected to the button wheel. 750 reais saved! Plus, personal satisfaction

I have not had a chance to check on the electrical Channel the see if this channel is listed on there and I've not seen any mention of any other channels by you so or is it so new that you know that hasn't been done yet please respond in a comment thanks by the way yeah those doors are infuriating I've had what seems like billions of complaints with those of a d y r of course and I have fixed those numerous times and there was one time that they said a weird like him at all if there's a problem just water lies the thing and get out of there for us because we can't even get in there right now and they need to do laundry and so Fred open the door turns out well audit throwing the towel the door dent it went to pieces to the point it would not go together just by jiggly get and stuff until I can start to get open and it went to Pieces quite literally don't know how that happened but I was being gentles and well it said okay you win I'm not putting up a fight and the sauce didn't have to fix it because it couldn't be fixed but at least they got the laundry done after the door came down although the door just about took me out wasn't expecting it anyways the door was swelled up and falling apart because of moisture as well because this is the laundry room also it was a solid door and not vented so it didn't help it was more of a pain to use the have to have it there and the door itself would be in the way all the time because of where it was so problem solved by the door dismantling itself apart attempted repair by the way they were laughing out loud little E when it happened after they realize I was okay after the door came down and they said it that's one way to open a door when it won't open probably with the funniest fixes that wad up eliminate the problem by eliminating whether it was I was there but you won't have a problem opening a door if there's no longer a door in the doorway right but when did the war gives up and well not quite self-destructs but just about o by the way the door panels themselves wearing more than one piece when they came down so it was time I think yeah moisture from Big Time that's why I can impart for sure verifact parts of it were actually soggy surprisingly no mold whatsoever which is just weird.
Also I knew someone that they had lost their house keys they were the only one in the whole state that live there at that time other people were out of town and no way to get ahold of anyone that has spare key whatsoever and that person broke into their own home from inside the garage with a baseball bat and that person was nothing serious wrong person so that just goes to show what someone can do Under the right circumstances and a drone one more than likely. And also probably reason. Has Sporting Goods in the garage and not have letters outside of a house unsecured or anything that can be used for a tool that someone can use to break in except in this case that was a good thing not joking either.
Also I remember when I was a kid we lived in apartments all the apartments are the same and if you were on the first floor and you locked yourself out which happened frequently we had a way to get it step one go up to front large window step to get lifted up to the window level step 3 remove window screen by the way could be done without any damage whatsoever step 4 go through window get step down 2 the Steam Heat radiator that's in front of the window step five get them from there Step 6 open door from inside step 7 say there you go step 8 receive thanks step 9 say no problem.
Also this happened with my parents years and years ago we had those old storm and screen Windows that I had those metal clips that held them in place so you'd slide up to remove window the change amount or the cleaned up or whatever. also we had a shortage of those clips of course they've been boss before we got there and one time we saw a bunch of the old windows sitting somewhere we are asked if they were going to be reused or anything ever stopped them you were just clean windows but then we realized they were putting in new windows and so we asked if we could have the window clips so that we'd have enough or at least some more of them and I said sure of course go ahead no problem just take it as a gift it's an o you say you need to ask more of those clips and I said yeah they said well let me go get them I think I've got some extras.
and yes they did it did help so you know if there's somebody could Salvage to fix something else by all means do it done this a billion times as it seems.
But back to the windows this was with the screen we were locked out of that house we use the back door only we did not even have a key to the front door.
Of course all three of us did not have her keys at that time we did not have a spare key anywhere big mistake also we did not as of yet have a spare key with neighbors or anyone later on we had to do that for reasons.
      More than one neighbor even.
But in that situation we were wondering what to do couldn't figure out and then all of a sudden somebody suggested cutting out the window screen out of the kitchen and repairing it just so we can get in and I'm like we don't need to do that we can get in without doing any damage and any repairs but we did have to go up the ladder to get in since this was not at grade level of course.
I realized that there was only one side of the window was clipped in so went to the garage by the lawn mower Lawn-Boy by the way I got the rod that holds the bag up Honda mower for the bagger which has a little the disc out. I guess you could say on the end are you is that while we were holding the window, pop the one clip that was their out is us we got into the house Save the Day.
It just goes to show I have been called the real life MacGyver for real and it goes to show I don't know how many times our life there should be a new phrase what would MacGyver do everyone said that to me all the time from one day on everybody called me the real life MacGyver and yes love the show that's wrong and of course the A-Team.
And yes all that's been parodied of course.

Same problem with sliding closet doors, the whole door sometimes just falls on you when it gets off the track

    • @aaronbrandenburg2441
      @aaronbrandenburg2441 3 роки тому

Speaking of sliding doors ever heard of pocket doors? Well over once someone was working on an older home that had pocket doors also a lot of times you will see something. Looks customer range when you go through a wall between two rooms or whatever and like what is that fair but I'll pay it over at all it just looks strange between the two rooms chances are paid over pocket door.
But is that is not what this, it's really about. It's about something. I remember the first time this happened but I'd heard about others of course later on one of those things that someone may not be thinking about when they're doing a booty yai or sprucing up the place either hanging something on a wall or anything like that or say new baseboards I did say pocket doors right you know what you put baseboards up with right unless of course you go to do something crazy like an runs low or something right away don't try it it doesn't turn out well saw that once somewhere no it was actually some ways idea he has to say they run up redoing that part of the wall.
But that's another DYI disaster story. Not me but someone I once knew.
But as I was saying back to pocket doors well you know how sometimes someone might use a fairly long nail to install something and not really think about it oh by the way see later on this comment about something else that same person dead in a different room. Even worse than this.
Back to the subject of pocket doors and baseboard installation. And long nails you know what I'm about to say of course home stretches things last piece of baseboard in that room ding ding ding ding ding ding last couple males all right going home then they go 2 go out of the room barely even 8 gal in the door to get out and then goes to slide the pocket door and is like that's strange I cannot open this door by the way only door to the room to Russell house fortunately ground-floor you know pocket doors are not the only thing that slides open so opens a window goes outside lots of himself back in dude door and Meridian she realizes Houston I think I know this is probably had he had nailed into the pocket door when he installed the baseboards oopsie.
Now the worst part probably could have been more dangerous it also course we tried to open the window he broke the glass and then try to get out getting help and fell out the window instead of stepping safely.
Wells doing the baseboards and some other things yeah in the process of redoing it room something like this happened twice believe it or not. Two different circumstances but the same effect.
And also to different parts of the work. In two different type of installs.
      First one face boards again.
Again driving in nails. First thing you need to know before you decide to drive any nails anywhere is what is behind it in this case non grounded electrical wiring note this place had steam radiators unpainted ones raw metal well drove in a few nails for some reason happened to touch the radiator with one hand and that nail what's the other fortunately he's okay cuz that could have been lethal shock. Also no no ground fault protection in the house was built before it was even required.
Also nothing had been updated yet in the electrical.
Next this is later in the project the Shelf was being hung guess what it's time another nail to an electrical cable something similar except this time he was touching an old gas light skorts on the wall and then the nail one hand to the other again fortunately okay this time as well. The Marquis you could say.
Next one still in jail different type of utility system different room same house put this way the wall that he was doing something wrong was right in back of a bathroom.
Well well well what am I going to say about utility dance. Electric and that's a big problem that would know immediately and have a big mess no Not like the toilet tank or something like that but that happened to the same guy wants many years later. Yeah drop it down the wall from the toilet tank someway somehow he was not lucky at all. that DYI restoration / modernisation all out did not go according to plan whatsoever but yet it was great live together but a lot of stories to tell.
all them 100% true as well as course.
but as you can guess what he hit with that Dale he drove home waterline.
On top of that she couldn't shut it off every well that would have been able to shut off was either a so rusted it wouldn't move B heddle sheared off and lastly what are those wild up getting damaged and causing a even bigger lie leak more like waterfall and he had to call the utility company the shut the water off at the street by the way the valve that was turning into waterfall is that was the shirt off at the water service inside for the house oh no.
Something was not shining on this guy for sure.
One more thing freaker currents with this though I'd say there was a chimney for a wood stove which there were moving in the same place he pulls out the chimney pipe after the stove has been removed next thing you know you hear something the name Carla dust the best sound of falling and breaking brick the chimney collapsed into itself all the way down to the base of the chimney explain that one.
But yet all this in end it looked like it that are there sand all kinds of other things like that never even happened one of the nicest places of that age I've ever seen afterwards just goes to show Don't let setbacks become project failed.
Oh and by the way that guest wants and a few other gas fixtures some transitional ones gas / Electric and a gas handle fixture in one of the second small dining rooms they are working with the current natural gas set up.
There is a fireplace key in the wall about the height of light switch would be four days. And yes they were able to get this certified to do it so this is possible by the way house was over a hundred years old also where he nailed into the electrical lines at the baseboard level was due to an unseen Outlet junction box that have been walled over in a previous project wish they found out later when they were redoing that room that was one room that had originally had the electrical outlets in the baseboard but they weren't aware that that one was there and became a little bit let's just say they weren't aware that that one was there and became a little bit let's just say not they weren't aware that that one was there and became a little bit let's just say not thinking to check the sea if there was at present In that area of the house but was in other places. Oops in other words if you're doing any type of work are over flys or anywhere else you don't know everything check twice drive a day Awards very possible One Nail could be your last nail you ever drive.
oh and one more thing that could be very dangerous not only did they hit an electric line but gas line as well same now fortunately the fuse blew first talk about a fuse possibly saving someone's life. this parks and re quit before the gas line have been penetrated and yes that was a copper gas line.
It was for a Gaslight and yes still connected to the gas but of course they did not know that that pipe was there actually that one had been disconnected but was still connected to the gas source in the basement as in the fixture of a disconnected and also that's a wine served another fixture at dozen room so it had to be left connected Otherwise it probably would have been disconnected both ends.

Also if you were to ever see an outlet that almost looks the bike a 20 amp 120 volt except both sides are mirror images Keith Watson other words don't assume that is a harmful levels AC.
Or any type of receptacle for that matter that you're not familiar with.
Because that type of receptacle it was meant to take two different types of plugs the old tandem blade poisonous as well as the more moderate these were the transition. Or just so that what was still available would work also there were some Outlets that had two different frog Arrangements in the same space as one what reciprocal either single or duplex that would have two different sets of sloths at right angles of course knowing grounded but the others exist in grounded and non grounded also be cautious if you have one of the old parts a non grounded 120 volt connector that type will fit a 220!
As I was saying be cautious in the first place because those are septic rules could be either wired although not come with me done for either 120 volts or 220 either one.
Also those were rated 15 amps 120 to 220 why well at one time larding was only allowed to be able to read 10 amps according to the National electrical code but with 220 you can get more light for the same amount of current obviously so the US 220 lighting Outlets to get by with only 10 amps on lighting oh by the way I have seen times where there are 10 amp lighting fuses still in use this is years ago but you might want to cross this.
Also if for some reason you wind up losing power somewhere either because of the circuit or whatever you're looking around you cannot find the panel anywhere or fuse box or anything few possibilities 1 panel and unexpected location behind something in the ceiling once I saw one behind the medicine cabinet door another was under a sink in a bathroom I'll see you at least three or four or so it is healing and there's always the possibility that when something was put in say a permanent of shelf yep someone wasn't thinking and put up the bookshelf over top of the fuse box that is recessed in the wall.
Also wants there was a detached garage that was old and there was a brick walkway that seemed out of place that blew a fuse they could not find the fuse panel anywhere in the house turns out all the electrical here meter and everything was inside the garage detached garage go figure that was when the weirdest thing I've ever seen personally
Also one more one torrent somebody called me and said that half the places out when over there could not flat no matter what in terms of fuse box and I said this voice have an addict and they said did you just say addict I said yes I said yes it does we went up there looking around didn't see anything at first what's a beam for my Lantern I saw the spray I think cast iron box on the far end of the attic it haram logo with what looks like lightning bolts in somewhere else I said I think I found the fuse box open it up 2:30 amp fuses one of which was blown only fuse is for the whole house. And guess what was next to it actually there was a junction box next to it that had some sort of weird Outlet but from there we're very heavy cables ran all the way to the other in the Attic and guess what old schools a base electric meter and safety switch however no fuses just to disconnect and the thing is trying to open the disconnect surprise the disconnect didn't disconnect it been wired past and there was no fuses in the fuse on furs so when outside I was looking around for about 20 minutes could not find a meter anywhere then look up old home home insulators and three wires straight to the pole.
And nothing on the house Ford wife back to where the North Pole was old school yard light with additional wire went down to the garage when Ender only a light switch in 1 fuse.
Which was just headlight socket as a fuse holder by the way the switch didn't work.
Also the wiring for that yard lights continued to another pole this was a rural area by the way.
Is that pole glad to know her polls which had modern Waring at least more modern wish then went True North Pole which had a transformer in a modern mercury vapor yard light but no meter or cut out or fusing or anything of any kind what the..
scary to say the least not the weirdest but not the scariest but still you know there are things like that out in the wild this was not done maliciously as in trying to steal power or anything like that it's just when it was doing things were not watch essay done right.

    • @aaronbrandenburg2441
      @aaronbrandenburg2441 3 роки тому

One more big. Switch on a wall the lad Ron's for main fuses still protection for half the place yep just scary stuff look more like something out Frankenstein's house.
Oh speaking which no Jacob's Ladder or anything but just about there was a logical fault or time and place and in the basement of it here just buzzing and my car key and see if blue light until his kind of front first once it stopped after the fuse blue we investigated look around that area happened cast iron water pipe joint the belle of the pipe had cracked and I land had heated up melted and went through the crack and puddled in the floor what happened is there's a bad connection there and it had taken that pipe to ground for a false somewhere can't remember what had happened but yeah that's nothing evidently..
Awesome once solid unused chimney used for bathroom and kitchen exhaust and laundry exhaust not good and guess what else that chimney was dark and totally unused or at least was until a few years prior a water heater had been vented into that but was. Connected at that time water lines have been disconnected for quite a while and gas as well but that is just scary also someone said that they had a strange smell from the basement like human feces and also that is a hand some water dripping from inside chimney through cracks in the morning I'm like and it I got over there and I noticed the smell wet behind the chimney low and behold there's a pipe coming out of the chimney all cemented in and seal them which then went to what used to be a floor drain that must have been half pipe run into it and then sealed up of something I'm like what's going on and then on the opposite side by the way very close to the wall why would they do this chimney clean-out door have been sealed shut deliberately tapped on it it did not sound right I think what's probably in that chimney yep raw sewage turns out they had used the chimney as a central drain pipe for the Opera stories if that don't beat everything.
I think that someone thought hey there's events there's a shaft that goes to the basement so why not.
By the way once we got someone there that was prepared for the worst you could say the floodgates opened.
Yep the pipe going through floor drain and a floor drain which by the way they don't know where it went it did not go to city sewer full of you know what sewage yuck to say the least.
Also once saw the bathroom vent fan that didn't work however there was a air flow and you know how there's an outlet usually in those for the motor.
Well extension cord plugged into that that went up the vent hose into the Attic which went up to a Louver in the end of the attic extension cord comes out about a foot or so from the end of the from the venting hose is sealed off of duct tape that is in duct tape to sheet metal which is then in turn duct tape to a box fan which was in duct taped to the vent and said box fan with plugged into the extension cord.
Also saw something similar with orange Hood once except that the box fan was in the cabinet above and was vented out the other side and into a chimney that had once served a wood burning kitchen stove.
Also once saw a heating vent that had been connected to the milkhouse heater in the basement in cold area because of lack of slow on the HV AC system of a house.
Also that system had a Zone system that zones thermostat what's connected to an Old Furnace relay which was connected to the cut into extension cord installed without electrical box even obviously that would turn on and off the heater by the way that room was just a bathroom.
What's saw a jury-rigged water heater it was not being used but we just found it when we opened up a shed my house it's pretty obvious that's what I've been used for a big old gas open heater that had the top removed and a garbage can with a coil of copper in it and a water tank on top also this is a propane burner there was a story behind that the neighbor said one time the electric water heater failed and they built this to keep a hot water going until it could be repaired!
Hey if all else fails go redneck. And MacGyver at the same time.
By the way they had been using that we're heater installed outside of course and the only thing I'm referring to is going redneck MacGyver and this one was the water heater that was the only sane thing to do out of all this so even then goes to show do not attempt anything that seems remotely a bad idea and if someone were to do something like that chances are they should not be doing any DYI projects ever don't do it man don't do it sooner or later it'll get you and maybe your last project you ever do or it may not just Harbor you but your Dar family or others there are things like that out there sometimes unknown to other people especially when they first move in.
Once hard about this not sure if it's true but very well could be is there Worth fire extinguisher cabinets everywhere at it all Department complex however they claim there's a fire extinguisher in each one which in a way with a true but not a functional fire extinguisher per se theoretically it could be uses it but it doesn't qualify bottles of water in the fire extinguisher cabinets.
Also when I was a kid we lived in an apartment complex yeah smoke detectors all out in there always had to be at least one fire extinguisher in the central hallway for all the apartments note this was a stairway but where was the fire extinguisher well the stairway the front wall go straight up from the interest or there look up above the door about what and feet up + baby at least that if not more there you go fire extinguisher cabinet in extinguisher is there but okay kind of like an electrical panel needs to be readily accessible right.
but hey at least you're not going to have any Vandals?
also one time I remember they have a have an inspection from the fire department which frankly I don't know how that would work.
because I do there have to be fire extinguisher but I never have to look that up there I asked it says yeah they're up there Imports up that way.
      This was the inspector himself!!!!!😳😲😵💩😮😳👎👎👎😱😬😣👎👎👎😕😒💩💩💩👍

But the problem is once you go you can't come back you can only go forward in time but can never go the other way.
And who knows what that would lead to because the problem is if it was successful we would know because we would never no until whenever we meet up if that person in the future which may not happen we don't know what would happens in the process do we now.

To put in perspective is that about power 1.21 gigawatts you'd be surprised. That's actually untenable number at least restaurant equipment enough petroleum products specifically jet fuel.
Is that amount of power is roughly equivalent 2 about 15 or 16 commercial jet engines at full thrust from what I've heard.
Not sure what that would be in kill wasps or megawatts Need to look it up.

Did he work on himself? If so, is his house his emotions?

Either or he's so pissed is adrenaline kicking in although easier to Wade do it Ramset.
Which would work even if it wasn't would but it was concrete.
Word to the wise if you're installing conduit or whatever and you will be using all Ram set repeatedly numerous times call the police non-emergency number and let him know that the Ramset will be used not me personally but knew someone that wish he would have thought about that first.
It turns out that when the authorities arrived they realize that there was DYI construction work going on endermite they he was told what they came up of course they're taking cost precautions and they realized safety gear tool belt and all that and they said sir are you using a Ramset by any chance and he wouldn't you saw the cops faces she was bright red from what I understand and the other East and without yes ever or just burst out laughing he said that that was with the weirdest things to happen in the strangest and most embarrassing things ever in his DYI times.
Other than a time he drained an old swimming pool that was going to be ripped apart anyways but this is much later runaway piece of equipment.
By the way there was mosquitoes in that pool needless to say yeah I've been standing there for years it look like it was going to drain itself it was so bad.
He said he couldn't imagine how it was still holding water because the corrosion and everything else it was even bulging.

Great channel name. I found this highly therapeutic. I bet over the years thousands will stumble upon this looking for videos on how to fix these fucking things, and this will be both the video they were looking for and the video they didn't know they were looking for.
