Vietjet is building its own terminal. A A320 has same space as the A321. Just fewer seats. Freebird is a wet lease company that often provides services to Vietjet during the busy season
So much hypocrisy and racism - if you don’t like women, why do you fly these Asian airlines, heavily advertising on decent looking crews? Just fly the US airlines, which offer equal opportunity to very old and overweight crew members , which certainly will help you in case of an emergency (if they can pass through the door and not block it due to weight, size and health disabilities). Regarding delays, you must be joking right? US airlines have plenty of cancellations and delays, same as in Europe and Australia. I am so sick and tired of criticism of Asian airlines, when they are generally no worse than the Western ones, except their crews are way more helpful and more pleasant (adding to their way better looks). And remember, they are paid peanuts compared to our airlines, and work longer hours.

I agree. It is rare nowadays to find attractive flight attendants on U.S. airlines. Wish they still had the height and weight restrictions. I have never traveled to Asian but I was in a hotel once when a Korean airline crew came in. All were beautiful and slim. Wish Korean airlines flew domestically in the U.S. I would pay extra to fly them.
All airlines should come with eye candy as standard. It’s the least they can do for ripping you off, packing you in a sardine can that’s going to probably kill you anyway.
Nothing wrong here, in my opinion, if the crew are given options. Bring it back! Make flying fun again. We all know we've only clicked on your video for one reason.
Hillarious !! So funny. I've been on about 6 VietJet flights... every single one leaves an hour past departure time. I don't understand why they do that. But the flights were all safe and fast. No problems flying to Bangkok either. I usually bring my own food to eat on the flight and I've never been hastled. I've also been on Bamboo. How Vietnam Air is still going with their fares being so high I'm not sure. The photos of the all white crews made me LMAO. In fact... 30 years ago Vietnam Air had all French pilots. Truth. In the early 90's that was a little reassuring since Tan Son Nhut International Airport did not have flush toilets either. I saw John McCain flying around Vietnam 2 years earlier in a Soviet era chopper (with a 1950's design) on C-SPAN and I expected the same for Vietnam Airlines in '93. It was a great relief to see new commercial aircraft with French pilots. Now of course everything is state-of-the-art world class but they've come a long way. One more note, there were price boards at Tan Son Nhut for Vietnam Air flights in early through the mid 90's that had a regular price for citizens and literally the "American" price for all foreigners. It was probably only $30 to fly from Saigon to Hanoi back then but still it was probably double what Vietnamese had to pay. Sometimes there were retired Vietnamese military officers on flights carrying handguns tucked into the front of their street pants. Exciting times. lol
Let the markets dictate what type of advertising is most efficient. We should not restrict business so long as they are operating within legal bounds. The morality is decided by the majority and reflected in the overall sales.
They sure are, but they are still in frontline service. I initially had a joke in there about “China, if you’re listening…” that would atone for what I’ve said about Xi on the channel before, but I ended up scrapping it.
I've used vietjet domestically. Never had a problem. Those who have, mainly complain about flight delays and unhelpful staff. If you're willing to put up with the above just to save a few dongs, go for it.
Checked in 2 hours prior to departure only to find out that the plane left 3 hours before.....oh sorry, we didn't sent you a message because it's Sunday.......never again not even when the flight attendants are naked and offered extra service 😂
That must be a rare event. True, Vietjet are not known for punctuality but in Vietnam everything is geared to give optimum advanage to Vietnam Airlines and then the company that contributes most to certain pension funds
VietJet airline airplane. it was fine and good for/with me I took it a few times before and not having to be delay a very long time and might be it did only a short delay before during my Vietnam trips. Once I decided to try VietJet airline airplane from Singapore to Bangkok. I was surprised it was not many passengers and probably not popular yet from Singapore to Bangkok, compared to Scoot and Jetstar always full passengers, so the departure started about 15mins earlier than the actual time of departure since not many passengers the airplane crews decided to start the departure earlier and I was glad I was the only one sitting on 3 seats roll with 2 empty seats that I could change to window at any time I like it.
I fly Vietjet often and it’s good for short flights and if you have a flexible schedule ,the price is very reasonable. It is common for delays but if you book the first flight of the day it’s usually ok . I just came back from Jakarta and they were good but I also flew Air Asia Indonesia and their seats were definitely more comfortable and more leg room . SGN is so over crowded and Vietjet doesn’t get the priority that the state owned Vietnam airlines has so flights get backed up during the day especially in rainy season Vietjet is short of planes so they are wet leasing planes from Freebird . I have to say every time I fly Vietjet the girls are a major smoke show they could be the bikini girls . Every time they pull out the bikini girls they get in trouble and have to pay a small fine but it’s worth millions in marketing so it’s worth it in the end . I hope Bamboo Airlines survives it is great as well and good to have competition , strange that it still functions as the owner has been sentenced to 23 years in jail .
I only have experienced of Thai VietJet but that was totally fine. They gravitate towards Boeing aircraft there though. Plane was new crew friendly and price was low. No problems and totally comparable with AirAsia
You failed to mentioned that President & CEO Nguyễn Thị Phương Thảo of VietJet is a female, which I feel raises an interesting discussion point, when looking at the young sexy image of its Cabin crew VietJet uses for marketing itself.
I have often flown with Vietjet. Punctuality is really not their thing. But with the prices, I'm not upset about it. The flight attendants are friendly. But there is one thing that always makes me cringe. When adults put their small children on their lap and buckle them in with them, i.e. not with an extra seat belt, they are not reprimanded by the flight attendants. Paying attention to this is part of their job. After all, if the adult is thrown forward, at best they will only break a few ribs of the child on their lap. But there can also be fatal injuries! Dear Flight attendants, please change that instantly!
In Canada you won’t get past check in or security if your name on your ticket and passport don’t match. It’s a big deal here and most places we’ve flown.

Fun to fly with! Friendly and efficient staff! Definitely, I’ll book with them again. Btw, the only creepy thing on this video isn’t the airline but that horrible and fact-bending commentator!
American airline companies would probably do better if they went back to having more attractive stewardesses. If they began enforcing weight requirements it would actually be better for the staff because that would lead to a healthy lifestyle for the staff and the customers would enjoy their flights more. The result would be that the airline would see more business. After all, Hooters and Twin Peaks do that for their restaurants and that brings in plenty of business. Airlines should do the same.
I flew Vietjet earlier this year from Bangkok to Saigon and will never fly with them again. It was the worst flying experience I have ever had in my life from the awful check in to the worst painful descent and landing it was truly a horrible experience and no they do not wear bikinis. Do yourself a favour and just fly with Vietnam Airlines if traveling to Vietnam.
So what's your problem. This airlines is providing good service with punctuality. Which is most important for passengers. It seems that your gimmicks are for increasing your channel 's viewership.
Ok interesting video but if you avoid filming the cabin crew you can not give an accurate comparison to the commercials, which we know have always been exaggerated. Also using a 1970s American commercial as a comparison is like comparing the modern world to Middle Ages Europe. In the history of Air Lines they are comparably that far apart. 50 years is not recent for Air travel.
News Flash: if you fly in the united states, the name on your ticket, must match the name on your government issued travel document ... exactly! ... letter for letter! That is an FAA requirement since 9/11
Well the U23 football incident was in 2018, and they still make a bikini calendar each year. The pool add was from last year. No, you won’t see bikins on any given flight, that’s kind of the whole point of the video…if you watch it.
So were they in bikinis or not? If not, where did those video clips come from? This was not addressed at all in the video, but I guess the headline gets views. B.s.
Hardly. The question of the video is exactly that, do they or not. The answer is right there, with a timestamp. Only for special occasions, events, marketing materials, and the annual calendar.
@@Travelog the footage of them in bikinis appeared to be taken by a passenger with a phone. The timestamps mean nothing on their own. Personally I expect a video to give me information not ask me questions. The content bore no resemblance to the title whatsoever, it was just b.s. to get views.
The question is posed at the end of the introduction. “Are there really women in bikinis dancing down the aisle of the airplane?” The answer is at the timestamp, direct quoting from the script here: “They have an annual bikini calendar. Often to celebrate inaugural flights or special occasions the bikinis come out. This repeatedly happens, including a rather aqkward incident with the U’23 football team, requiring another apology.” So yes, they occasionally do. All that footage is real. So are all the clips from their official marketing videos. You’re right, there’s a gap where I actually cover what the flight is like to take. Is it clickbait? The unofficial nickname of the airline is “bikini airlines.” I covered what it’s like to actually fly them. In my eyes that’s still delivering, but appreciate your concern. There’s plenty of other videos on Vietjet from other creators with similar thumbnails.
@@Travelog the answer is not there, its just woffle. Talking around the subject but not directly addressing it. Totally clickbait. You should be in politics.
It's a BIG DISLIKE from me for NOT showing what the girls on your flight actually looked like. BIG missed chance. Will NEVER watch another one of your videos.
I do look at some women. I am transparent about it. I do use sunglasses nor automatic darkening on my prescription glasses. Now they can see me. US staff and Ausi staff almost seem bitter. But I’m working on it.
My cousin how at 21 looked like young Jane fonda in 65 got a stewardess job at Braniff wore mini skirts she was on the NY to Miami run and in the back men could touch her thigh at skirt level when she came by If they wanted a drink etc.
Ummm ....I think you sort of changed the narrative. I watched this for 8 minutes and I still don't know if they have female flight attendants in bikinis or not. You talked about and showed old ads, but that's about it. You never really answered how things are currently here in 2024. At least Hooters Airlines, like them or not, delivered what the advertised. I have no idea if this airline does or did or whatever.
That’s why there are chapters to skip to! They only bring out the bikinis for special occasions. The whole point is that even though they market themselves as such (and have strict standards for crew) that’s not the daily experience.
I have allways used same name as passport! So don't understand people not use full name of passport?.?.? I think vary stupid not use full name as passport? The fact it's something to talk about is crazy because anyone who doesn't use proper passport names is crazy!
China Eastern pulled the same middle name crap with me and ended up canceling my booking and told me to rebook with my full name. Said I would have to contact the corporate office for a refund. Corporate has never responded to any of my messages. Avoid flying China Eastern.
Oh, dude, you have never traveled in China, clearly. No possible way you board any aircraft unless your name, in both Chinese and Roman alphabet EXACTLY matches on every document you have on your person. They are a HUGE HUGE pain in the arse about stuff like this.
Indeed you’re right, and I have been to China and Hong Kong. In those cases I had award tickets booked through American and ANA, and my middle name must have auto populated. But when I’m paying cash on airlines I don’t have accounts for I don’t bother. Or in Europe where there isn’t even a field to put one!

I am actually Vietnamese and half American
Its a massage parlor with wings😜😜😜😜
Why can't there be the NWA airline? I would consider flying them but not with my girl or wife. 😂😂😂
Japan should do this idol airlines 🇯🇵✌️🥰🤗🥵
Capitol idea!
I've flown Vietjet a lot. Not different from any other SE Asian domestic airline IMO. Basically a nightmare.
Noel Philips needs to investigate this.
He already did? Or Josh Cahil. Same thing.
Looks like a lot of tourists going there.
NonStop Dan is everywhere............. 😅
News Flash: if you fly in the united states, the name on your ticket, must match the name on your government issued travel document ... exactly! ... letter for letter!
That is an FAA requirement since 9/11

Virgin airlines, the sequel: Simp airlines
The best airline in the world😂
no bikinis.. i fly it a lot. never seen any..this was ad long time ago
Well the U23 football incident was in 2018, and they still make a bikini calendar each year. The pool add was from last year. No, you won’t see bikins on any given flight, that’s kind of the whole point of the video…if you watch it.
Vietjet is budget but compare to north Americans airline so much better.
“Are there really women in bikinis dancing down the aisle of the airplane?” The answer is at the timestamp, direct quoting from the script here:
“They have an annual bikini calendar. Often to celebrate inaugural flights or special occasions the bikinis come out. This repeatedly happens, including a rather aqkward incident with the U’23 football team, requiring another apology.”
So yes, they occasionally do.
0:01 On second thought fuck nah. I’m flying Ryanair
So, did the flight attendants wear bikinis in plane?
Who cares about sexy outfits if it doesn't come with a happy ending? 🤪
It's a BIG DISLIKE from me for NOT showing what the girls on your flight actually looked like. BIG missed chance. Will NEVER watch another one of your videos.
Elon Musk should buy an airline and do what needs to be done, for the people.
I will try it
I do look at some women. I am transparent about it. I do use sunglasses nor automatic darkening on my prescription glasses. Now they can see me. US staff and Ausi staff almost seem bitter. But I’m working on it.
WTF Pattaya air! They have real large bathrooms
Coach. 1st class or no class ?
My cousin how at 21 looked like young Jane fonda in 65 got a stewardess job at Braniff wore mini skirts she was on the NY to Miami run and in the back men could touch her thigh at skirt level when she came by If they wanted a drink etc.
Let’s fly it
So is this false advertising then?
This dude zesty af
Ha, especially for this one. Vietjet has been on the list for years, and I wanted to do it justice.
@@Travelog Well darn! What's the point of flying with them then? :)
I've flown vietjet many times and i didn't see any flight attendants scantly clad...this is bullshit
That’s kind of the point of the video, that they only do this on special occasions…
I would love to fly hooters airlines
I have allways used same name as passport! So don't understand people not use full name of passport?.?.? I think vary stupid not use full name as passport? The fact it's something to talk about is crazy because anyone who doesn't use proper passport names is crazy!
i like spreading misinformation 💀💀
이런거 하지말고 정시출발율이나 좀 높여봐
😮
I hardly find an all male crew refreshing. I would hate that flight. Sorry, but I am all for attractive women. Nothing wrong with that.
Silly. Don't make your staff do this.
China Eastern pulled the same middle name crap with me and ended up canceling my booking and told me to rebook with my full name. Said I would have to contact the corporate office for a refund. Corporate has never responded to any of my messages. Avoid flying China Eastern.
💀Real💀
This is kinda sus (Very Very Sus)
Oh, dude, you have never traveled in China, clearly. No possible way you board any aircraft unless your name, in both Chinese and Roman alphabet EXACTLY matches on every document you have on your person. They are a HUGE HUGE pain in the arse about stuff like this.
Indeed you’re right, and I have been to China and Hong Kong. In those cases I had award tickets booked through American and ANA, and my middle name must have auto populated. But when I’m paying cash on airlines I don’t have accounts for I don’t bother. Or in Europe where there isn’t even a field to put one!
Eat your heart out Ryan Air...
