I am dumb or can someone explain why celts - malay is civ win for malay?
Because celts gets worse as the game goes longer, and usually the games goes late in arena. Celts strong point is the early all in push which is hard on arena.
@@andhikaputra4123 thats based on gold running out right? because celts seem to be very strong late game if gold is plenty
@@andhikaputra4123 Not the reason. Velts are pretty good with Halb + SO. And even Woads + rams vs good archer civs. Their weakness is bombard cannons. And Malay since they get up so fast can get to a fast Bombard cannon + arb push before celts gets to their ideal comp which is Halb + SO or elite woads.
The eles was a nice response but they were kited too hard. He didn’t expect viper to have a mangonel when he panic built the castle, and also Modri lost two himself. The greedy TC play worked against early longsword but now when it gets out of hand.

If he deletes his farm and builds castle touching his tc he wins. Such a small thing like 2 tiles changes the whole game… amazing

Did you know that spearmen trade better against elephants than longswords with supplies?
1v1, elephant can kill five longswords before dying to the sixth. 1v1 against spearman, elephant could kill up to three spearmen before dying to the fourth, or if the spearmen get three hits each, elephant can only kill two.
To put it another way, a spearman would kill an elephant in 21 seconds, while a long swordsman would take 62 seconds. Pikeman would take 12 seconds.
Anyway, to eat TCs as Celts, you really should bring some siege. Could have brought villagers inside the walls.
And you should have used the siege tower to tank TC fire, instead of executing it.

@@dirkauditore8413 Your sarcastic comment aside, I commented on this video because I really was unsure if Viper knew that spearmen get +30 total bonus damage against elephants (+34 against ballista elephants). Did you know this? If you knew it, then TheViper probably knew it too.
