Idk if other people define it differently, but I consider flipping/merching to be buying low and selling high using GE only. I've been playing since like 2005 and never considered general store methods to be flipping. Maybe I'm wrong though lol.
@@TykeroniaMerching and Flipping as far as I'm aware aren't the same. Flipping is just buying it low and selling it high elsewhere, such as buying the daily allowance of cheap battlestaves from Zaff and selling those on the GE. Flipping doesn't USUALLY affect the market for that item too much.
I'd love to see a video where you try to do this as fast as possible (maybe when prices rise even more), rather than doing as many methods that you can think of. P.S. In reality, many noob/new players are not hopping for Gems via General Store. They'll spend MANY more hours getting a bond via normal methods. I see it a lot, since I only play F2P. I see dozens of people trying to get a bond via fairly slow methods (Ogress is a common one, but still somewhat slow unless you play all the time).
@@gustavofinkler1229 the only thing I can think is that it was a f2p iron man that grinded hundreds of hours at ogresses or something and got a bunch of gems in their bank. Then they realized that making sapphire jewelry was too slow for their taste possibly because it was a waste of gold, and did the easy part of chiseling to get the easy experience. And if they grinded enough to get those sapphires and were f2p, they probably don't care too much about gp, so selling the whole stack to the general store is acceptable. Idk, that's my guess.
sometimes i wish i knew of these things in 2018. even though bonds were ~3m back then, it took SO long to get one. the only method i knew of were ogresses or wines of zamorak. not fun
12 mil for a bond? Bruh. Been away from the game for a while, didn't realize bond prices doubled since I left. Considering I used to multibox 8 accounts all bond supported I doubt I'll be returning. I refuse to pay for membership because I wouldn't play for long enough in any 1 month period to justify the cost, price of a 2 week bond was low enough it only took me a day or two of the bond period to recoup the cost, but I'm not down with doubling that time investment just to break even. OSRS went the way of Warframe for me, the p2p market became so strong that its now the only viable method of making progress.

How are you left clicking to sell 10 in the shops for bows? I've looked everywhere and can't find how to. I always have to right click to sell 10...
Nvm I found entry swapper on runelite.
I still don't understand the horseys, why do people want them? Why would they want to collect them if they're buyable from Draynor?
Some people like to show off a substantial number of silly items. Like owning 10million horseys.
I think it's similar to people buying burned food, just weird collectable items
Oh I'm aware, I just wanted to try something a bit more unique for my first bit of gp haha
Sequel, maintain the bond? What p2p money making methods will Avoid F2p use?
I have the perfect video for you :) ua-cam.com/video/ADU4vbQLryw/v-deo.html&t
I would've stayed on those sapphires for 10 hours
Why do people sell stuff at the general store? Was there any advantage in selling 1,4k sapphires?
@@gustavofinkler1229 the only thing I can think is that it was a f2p iron man that grinded hundreds of hours at ogresses or something and got a bunch of gems in their bank.
Then they realized that making sapphire jewelry was too slow for their taste possibly because it was a waste of gold, and did the easy part of chiseling to get the easy experience.
And if they grinded enough to get those sapphires and were f2p, they probably don't care too much about gp, so selling the whole stack to the general store is acceptable.
Idk, that's my guess.
Didn’t bonds used to cost 8 mil? Man inflations hitting this game hard too
sometimes i wish i knew of these things in 2018. even though bonds were ~3m back then, it took SO long to get one. the only method i knew of were ogresses or wines of zamorak. not fun
would love to see you flip to bond ngl
Now how many bonds can you achieve is the same time on a fresh members account?
I've kind of done it before but I could do it again if enough people want to see it. See this video ua-cam.com/video/ADU4vbQLryw/v-deo.html
Can you continue this as a series of keeping the account P2P with bonds while progressing it?
I made a follow up video last time: ua-cam.com/video/ADU4vbQLryw/v-deo.html&t
Spending 35 highly click intensive hours to save $9 is so insane
Thank you for your sacrifice
I may be a complete and total noob so forgive me asking but, aren't bonds currently sitting at 130mil, not 12mil?
I think that's the price in rs3, this is old school
@@VerfRS Oh! That makes sense!
I haven't played osrs since a bond was like 3 mill
Getting 55 magic and then high alching stuff for cash will net anyone a bond in a week.
that ruby ring method is genius. soon bots will do that
bonds are over 15m right now its crazy
it’s insane, i just started completely new to the game 2 days ago and i’m determined to get a bond and have my membership pay for itself after
“Now we can finally play the game”
yes please do the flipping only version
12 mil for a bond? Bruh. Been away from the game for a while, didn't realize bond prices doubled since I left. Considering I used to multibox 8 accounts all bond supported I doubt I'll be returning. I refuse to pay for membership because I wouldn't play for long enough in any 1 month period to justify the cost, price of a 2 week bond was low enough it only took me a day or two of the bond period to recoup the cost, but I'm not down with doubling that time investment just to break even. OSRS went the way of Warframe for me, the p2p market became so strong that its now the only viable method of making progress.
Lol just say your poor or stingy. No need to justify it.
You will see bots grabbing the rings soon
@@ebvethron that's not how botting works my guy lol
Where ever there is profit, they make bots
Some of these guys have hundreds of accounts, they multitask
yeah, this guy got 1000 rings, and I don't know how long he went out it, but I tried for 2 hours and got 50 so unless he can stay up for 40 hours straight this money maker isn't as good anymore
verf you're fantastic buddy
but bond is 15m not 6
Ive played the game now and then but i never deep dived in it. I just do the grind skills and a few quests. i have NO Idea what stuff buy and not buy in this game. Even tho u showing what to buy and so im still giga confused :D
Who their right mind sells 13k+ sapphires to the general store? Gunna have to call you out on that. No way.
people bulk sell all kinds of items in general stores, esp on ironman. It wasn't that good but it was more fun to use that method, you dont have to believe me
It's just not economic to buy bond in f2p😭 especially without flipping
Should have sold the burnt food to collectors!
All you gotta do is sit in the party room
love it!
Last time I played oldschool it was 2.6m for a bond... This is worse than the freddo inflation 🐸😅
give this guy a statue in Varrock square
I wouldn't mind seeing a follow up video, "how to maintain a bond in members with basically no skills", lol
I made a follow up video last time: ua-cam.com/video/ADU4vbQLryw/v-deo.html&t
I am shocked that RSN wasnt taken.
Is a bond 6m??
someones got a massive toy horsey collection
im completely new and i just have 30k. going to start some gold grinding soon so i eventually can buy me a bond at some time xD
completely new too but grinded my magic to 55 so gonna try high alch later today, 15 mil is a lot for a bond but i’m gonna do it, my in game name is Joywulf if you ever wanna meet up and escape the f2p grind together
I want to see you try this as a f2p IM and/or UIM. I just like watching youtubers suffer for content
hahaha
You can get 150k an hour from iron ore easy.
The sapphire thing is it unlimited lol you could have just kept doing that
It wasn't that good
look a those cool hats they wearing 0:35
