1. async telemedicine 2. ambient and emotions AI 3. skin patches for measurements of vitals 4. affordable vein scanners 5. synthetic medical records (e.g. GAN) 6. blood draw devices in clinical trials 7. smart TVs for remote care
Our hospital has vein scanners but don't find them helpful in finding a good vein to stick. Ultrasound so far is the best at sticking the patient just once.
I want to know when AI will be integrated into mechanical ventilation and be available in the US. This is not a question of if, but when. This needs to happen now because all of the experienced clinicians have left or are currently leaving. Thanks
There are much more inovations that are more interesting like this Apps and Gadgets. Like genetic modifications and innovations, for example like optogenetics or modified immunbodys. Those patch divices are not that good and usable as they look, they fall off very easy and the data is not suitable for medical decisions.
The saddest part, with us destroying the only habitable planet we have--that the top 7 medical innovations of recent years all have zero things to do with RISUG.
Imagine if we took the money from 5 billionaires and put it only into medical research and for 10 years split the military budget ( USA) and out those funds there. A man can wish.
The funds that went into the USA military research projects gave birth to most important technologies that human beings are using today eg internet, gps, etc
Hi Dr Bertalan, I always enjoyed your videos. Thank you for sharing what we can expect from a healthcare services in coming months. Data in HC sector is growing at a very fast rate. I have a question, with all type of structured and unstructured data collected by a HC company, what innovative useful things can be achieved which will positively impact patients or doctors or hospital staff.
