I've never heard someone talk so much without actually saying anything.
It would be helpful if I can see some visual training on not to pull. Thank you
I have a 4month old female malinois that pulls. Of course this is my mistake and not the dogs, after trying all these so called "tree" methods etc Im now convinced that trying the prone collar with a professional is the way to go.
The way you guys convey the importance of the message is absolutely amazing, clear and straightforward unlike other channels.
Thanks for the excellent job guys, greetings from Canada
Thanks so much George! Hope training improves with a prong! We've got a video looking at how to train a dog to stop pulling while using a prong over on our dedicated training channel: ua-cam.com/video/Qa7HbyNBq9Y/v-deo.html
I’m in Canada as well and my mal is almost 6 months and I’ve tried everything to get her to heel and walk properly on the leash and she just doesn’t seem to get it, sometimes she will be good if I’m feeding her treats but if she sees something like a blowing leaf she’s off again and I can’t get her back on track
The dog is smart and knows damn well it shouldnt be doing it. That's why you get a male intact dog.
When it act out clacker its knackers that's how granny taught me.
How can I teach my Malinois how to always focus on me?
Kick in the knackers always worked in the 90s. But can't do that anymore. They soon learn to heel walk when knackers get klackerd.
So it's shock collar on prong collar apparently.
So glad I found your channel and that of your guest trainer on this video regarding leash pulling. Bit of a misnomer though as it wonderfully discusses the philosophy has to why one wants to heal train their canine using appropriate balanced methods as early as possible, and other than mentioning some different colors does not discuss any how to train or tips and tricks. Still an important message especially for inexperienced dog owners that have obtained medium to larger dogs and find themselves suffering. Keep up the good work!
Omg!!! Y’all know my struggle 🥰
I love the vids but can you find any other clips of a malinios than the one in the winter woods
Hi, ive signed up for the perfect puppy course several months ago and the website contact page is down. My malonois recently has lost his focus on walks and is reactive to other dogs when walking (only barking). Unlike previously he doesnt maintain lazer focus on me or my wife and is now practically forgetting HEEL when we are outside. We take him for walks daily (if not more) and repeatedly backtrack and change directions to attempt to maintain focus. My username is the same on your training website. Please let me know if you have further advise.
You guys are great at talking enthusiastically... if only you actually did what you say on the video title and showed the method.
I don’t see the link for your rescue videos. I have an adult Malinois, that was dumped at my house as an adult. He has the reactive behavior of pulling on the leash and lunging at passing vehicles/other dogs etc when walking. His other major issue is super reactive in my vehicle when I take him anywhere. Twirling around, lunges in the vehicle at whatever he sees out the windows, snapping, barking and wining. I put him in a transport crate but he has the same behavior in it, just a smaller confined area to commit his offenses. He literally drives me crazy in the car. I had initially thought that perhaps he had experienced some kind of trauma in a car but I no longer think that’s the case. He is always excited to get in the car and go but as soon as I start the car, the reactive behavior starts. I need help, or this poor dog that someone dumped at my house will have to go. He is a great dog otherwise and I would like to provide a forever home for him. I would love to be able to take him hiking and camping with me but he makes it so miserable before I reach my destination.

My Belgian only pulls when I use the collar. But when she wears a harness she doesn’t pull and stays right next to me.
My mal is almost 6 months old no matter what I do she continues to pull and gets easily distracted, a leaf blowing will break her attention and then it’s done can’t get her back on track
Help me I just adopted a Collie x Malinois at 9 months that pulls. I've had him 4 days. He's very anxious when there are dogs, cars and people everywhere on the street. As soon as we start walking he is huffing/panting while pulling to where he thinks we are going. He also jumps up and nips to play and to greet people. I have laid down to nap, and he bumps his nose directly in my face because he is not done playing yet. He doesn't know how to drop/release toys. He wants to guard my ground floor flat and barks when he sees or hears people outside. There are a couple of shady guys upstairs who he barks and lunges at even as I greet them.
But what is the effective way to use the prong collar though?
this guy just waffled for the whole video without showing anything
First 4 minutes he didnt talk abput the actual question, so ı got bored and skipped
My 7 month malinois is super obidient but Horror on the leash from day one (8 weeks) Tried so many things
Hey Sven thanks for watching! You might find it helpful watching our video looking at how to teach your puppy to walk to heel: ua-cam.com/video/FjS7_wzF3VA/v-deo.html
Great video and I agree. But doesn’t really do what it says on the title
At what point is the lesson .
I have Malinois too, any tips on how to stop him from getting anxiety every time we leave the house? Every time we close the door he starts barking and then howls for about 10 minutes straight.
Hey Arthur, thanks for watching! We've got a few different videos looking at separation anxiety, our latest video is looking at post lockdown separation anxiety that might be helpful: ua-cam.com/video/W7T94AQjAkM/v-deo.html
My mal is out off control soon as he sees a person or car he goes Crazy i need help badly
Prong collar. It’s like flickin a switch.
So what was the advice on how to stop your dog pulling??…
What kind of monsters gets rid of a dog cause it can pull ? Lol
I love your knowledge, however it’s too much; more of a lecture. Keep it Simple for old folks like me.
Keep it simple for young folks too.
Great points! Thanks for your wisdom- anyone that doesnt appreciate this wisdom should just go buy a potted cactus and not a dog...
Sow me helps better.
Hey Louise, for any of our live demonstrations we have a dedicated training channel. Here's one of our videos looking at how to stop your dog pulling: ua-cam.com/video/-4QywHGSZz0/v-deo.html
I thought this is the video..😢 It's just 95% pointless talking and explaining only 5% knowledge about malinois
Thanks for watching! Check out our training channel, we've got a number of different videos looking at dogs pulling on walks with live demonstrations on how to tackle this behaviour: ua-cam.com/video/DU1Kz7NWrWc/v-deo.html
I thought exactly the same thing. If the video is not about how to stop pulling change the title to what to know before you train your dog or whatever.
@@MultiStamos 1st video is about how to stop Mali pulling on walks and then 2nd video they walk with lab..
This video could had been a lot better.
So sorry you think that Evan! If you're looking for live demonstrations we have a channel dedicated to them and we have a number of videos looking at how to stop your dog pulling on the lead. Here's one you might find helpful: ua-cam.com/video/DU1Kz7NWrWc/v-deo.html
Dude talks so much like on to the point already I’m like 8mins in and I’m gonna give up like on to the point already
Stop waffling and get on with it.
i don't think I heard any tips. It felt like he was explaining why dogs pull and where you go wrong when walking. and said nothing about a Malinois
Your no help
I'm awesome I'm awesome, buy a prong collar lmao. Says luring with a Mal never works lmfao. Trash
Too much talking
14 minutes video and literally zero practical information. Love clickbait titles...
Hmmm and where was the actual video showing all these people who listen to your boring voice which basically just repeated a load of crap which we ALREADY KNOW ABOUT!!!! Basically just click bait
