  • Has been a long time coming, literally dreamed that I would one day be able to do this many, many yrs ago and my first attempt a couple of yrs ago ended up as a failure. Well, I weigh less now and started wanting to get this again in the past 6 wks. We moved to memphis, Tn and there's no offshore fishing here, so I have a lot more time on my hands to focus on other hobbies. Been training hard and consistently and it paid off today, my second attempt at 405. I weighed close to 153 today. I'm 5'9" and included today's full bench routine as it was a common question last time I posted a bench video. Couldn't figure out how to add subtitles to the video, but here are the weights: 135x50, 135x25, 225x10, 315x3, 365x1, 390x1, 405x1, 315x8, 225x33.
I appreciate you for being here and I look forward to making another video for you. If you’re interested in supporting the channel in other ways, check out my merchandise store at: teespring.com/stores/UFpwrLifters-store
It would be really cool to be tagged on Instagram with you wearing one of my products!

225 lbs a quick glance is acceptable.
315 lbs moderate eyeballing and double takes are acceptable.
365 lbs a good look and discreetly recording you are acceptable.
405 lbs entire gym must grind to a halt and stare in disbelief.

  • @frederickschulze8014

For those saying he's not natty, I see where you're coming from. I think there's something you all are forgetting though. 405lb bench at 153lb body weight is normally not possible for natties, but it's only possible for him because he trains the bench exclusively.
    1. He only has to build muscle for the bench. He almost never does lifts for his lower body, so he has normal non-lifter legs. He also does some pullups to balance his upper body, but his upper but is still built to bench. This probably saves him up to 15+ pounds on his body weight. If he had the same level of bench muscle all over his body, he would easily be 170+ pounds. Doing the 405 bench at 153 lbs is impressive, but it's hard to find many people out there that have focused on the bench their entire life.
    2. He is able to focus all of his recovery as well as just his time on the bench. That means he can bench for over an hour 3 times a week performing sets of 10, 5, 3, 1, 1, 1, 3, 5, 8 (something like that off the top of my head) and still recover just fine.

I did 265 right out of HS, I weight barely over 140, my twin could do 270 at same weight, we weren't serious with lifting. I know thats 50% more he is doing , but we only played with weights. We were the kids who could do 60+ pushups and pull ups nearly 20 times in HS, never trained to do that too. So I see it's possible without some kind of PED. If someone was dedicated and trained in that one area and was given the right genetics for benching, it's on th upper edge. I said something like this before to someone on yputube and they said I was full of it, but I know what I could do. Now, saying that we don't know this guy he could or couldn't be doing something. Not going completely rule it out, but I can believe what he is doing is possible without some kind of PED.

it takes years. YEARS to get your tendons strong enough to support that kind of weight at 150 something pounds. PED doesn't get tendons stronger unless you inject PRP in your tendons regularly. This guy could be juiced but his decades of bench specialized training leads me to believe he is natty

+Michael Young It's strange that I never see them in any world strongest man's competitions. I saw a Chinese guy once when it was hosted in China but I don't think he was a legitimate contender. I think he was more or less there because it was his home country. Unfortunately he struggled a lot and I if I remember correctly i believe he had to give up when carrying weights up the stairs. I think asian culture is just more into working out to "feel the burn" and more endurance types of exsersices or martial arts rather than powerlifting. Martial arts don't necessarily help with brute strength when compared to a powerlifter. I think if more of the Asian culture chose powerlifting over endurance exercises wed start seeing more of them in the world strongest man competition being successful.

But with the Chinese government push almost every body competitions to people, i think there will be more and more Asians in these competitions.

When I was 105kg I was deadlifting 420 loaded onto the bar and the half the gym would watch. What a great feeling. Can’t imagine the feeling he would get by benching it esp at his weights. Around 30kgs lighter than me.
Big thumbs up. Doesn’t only take strength it also takes big balls to put yourself under that massive weight. Until you have been under a 300lb bar you won’t know what I mean. The bar bends and flexes like crazy. Well done mate.

honestly, this is perhaps the most unbelievable bench press ive seen. Sure there are other guys his weight who can bench more, but they are also 5'4" and look like they weigh 220. Looking at this guy, id put him at a 200 lb bench MAX at the most, but to see him throw up 405 is truly godlike. And whats even crazier, is i really believe this guy is natty, unlike 99.9% of the other lifters his weight putting up 405+. Imagine if he perfected his technique. You are an inspiration.

Because most guys you see that look like him are noobs or they lack motivation.
405 is not godlike, 1000+ would be godlike for his weight class.
