    Thor coming back to strongman and getting 2nd overall with a lot of 1sts is awesome! And seeing Thor applaud Mitch Hooper is fantastic! TRULY THE THOR / HOOPER rivalry is going to take strongman to the next level. This is like Larry Bird and Magic Johnson they both respect each other and are happy for one another, I know Mitch looks up to Thor a lot, it's like Older Brother and younger brother competing as adults.

    Thor your progress is incredible you have nothing to be ashamed about 💪❤️. From 4th place to 2nd place in two competitions on your comeback, with this rate of progress your pressing is gonna get insanely strong and you will crush Hooper in the next contest if not some contest soon.
    Gene doping is the current best way if you aren't on it already. I think Mitchell Hooper got some crazy genetic modification when he got into strongman because his progress came out of basically nowhere. As before he did strongman he was a skinny marathoner and then a fat guy. So it doesn't make sense that he could so easily and rapidly dominate strongman with just standard PEDs and his science based training. You gotta get some recovery boosting genes, Follistatin and Growth hormone boosting genes to compete with this guy. No joke I think he is secretly on something highly experimental otherwise he would have been more naturally gifted and got into strongman much earlier. Plus as you get older gene doping and other therapies like stem cell therapy become more important and useful. Just my advice champ, good luck anyway I know you are gonna slowly take over strongman again 💪🔥. And you basically already almost did with this contest.

      That would be like saying a powerlifter with a 300 bench, 400 squat, and 400 deadlift is stronger than a powerlifter with a 295 bench, 395 squat, and 500 deadlift. Stoltman failing on the stones and the other guy attempting to beat you in the deadlift, gifted Hooper points. Your logs results was obviously not great, you got completely scammed on the 3rd dumbbell and Hooper was squatting insanely high (not his fault though, the machine was set like it was). Great post-surgery progress, look forward to seeing your next event!

    • @vaettra1589
      @vaettra1589 4 місяці тому +1

      Yeah the squat event was a disgrace, with Hooper winning by doing half reps. And kind of weird to think that if it was an event with just Thor and Hooper, Thor would've won. It is what it is.

      I don’t see it. Mitchell Hooper has done all of this in the space of 4 years. He is the most rapid strength gainer I have seen and winning. I can’t see Thor matching that rate of progress. Happy to be proven wrong though.

    • @derekbaker4763
      @derekbaker4763 4 місяці тому +15

      I like Thor, and think he is a very powerful competitor. But to dismiss what mitch has done, in the little amount of time he has done it in, is crazy. Thor has the advantage in being able to put mass on to help with these events, but mitch is doing it all with a much smaller frame which just makes it more impressive. Not saying Thor can't improve, but mitch will be improving aswell considering he has been doing this for like 4 or 5 years? Thor has been at it for 10 or more.
