I love this comparison review. This is the first time I've heard about this Astor and Banks brand. It looks amazing as well.
Glad you found something new through this video!
Great comparison, ASTOR + BANKS stands out as a fascinating timepiece with an alluring design. On the other hand, the Tissot's movement with an 80s power reserve is an undeniable winner. While I admire the direction ASTOR + BANKS is heading, it still has some way to go before reaching its full potential.
Totally agreed!
They are certainly doing the right things at the moment, hope they continue!
The 80 hour power reserve is a compromise. The PM80 movement has a lower beat rate than the Miyota 9039.
Great comparison, I'm looking to get the fortitude next.
Would definitely recommend it
I knew of Astor and Banks, but never really considered their watches until today. I'm heading over to their site now. Great video man!
Glad you liked it!
Buy a AB watch, I own one and its really feels like a premium watch.
I own the Astor + Banks Fortitude Lite Polar model - its simple and clean and would pick it over the PRX. AB is the perfect size for small wrists.
Agreed!
Great video. Would love to see comparison of AB to Christopher Ward 12
Thanks!
Maybe I'll do that in the future!
I love the prx and will probably get one soon but the fortitude lite is just so unbeatable in terms of overall value imo. 200m water resistance, screw down crown, anti-magnetic case, drilled lugs, screwed bracelet, sapphire crystal with ar coating (prx has as well), and solid lume has kept it on my wrist since I got it. Personally I’m not a fan of a date window so I’m a little biased there tho. Nothing against the prx, in terms of looks it definitely wins due to its unique design, but the lite is the perfect Watch for me to go anywhere and do anything without worrying about the watch at all. I would be super interested to see it compared to the traska summiteer which I would put in the same rugged category as the fortitude lite.
All in all both watches are great and will serve the wearer well. Great comparison video!
Thanks for such a detailed and accurate comment. Glad you liked the video!
Can you please review prx 35mm quartz variants?
🖤
With the prx 35mm vs Astor. It’d definitely be a tie
Swatch group owns eterna which owns the eta movements.
The Tissot outshines the A&B in My opinion, I just don't have any degree of the attraction that I have with the PRX.
I partly agree with you. At first glance, the Tissot is the better looking watch for sure.
Only when you use the A&B, it starts growing on you.
@@TheWatchOut I'm not too sure what it is about the Fortitude, but... well.. I can't even describe WHY.. it just.. doesn't appeal to Me, but I had a old Seiko that was gifted Me..(secretly was turned off instantly by the looks)... ended up being one of My favourite watches that made me start looking at 'retro' style stuff.. so.. I'd probably change My mind if I got to spend a bit of time wthh 'Her' ;)
