  • Turning on and off the headlights, including high beam and parking lights, as well as utilizing the auto feature in your Mazda CX-30, is essential for safe driving in various conditions. Here's how to control these features effectively:
    Activating Headlights:
Locate the headlight control switch, usually positioned on the left side of the steering wheel column.
Rotate the switch to the appropriate position to turn on the headlights. Typically, there are three positions: Off, Parking Lights, and Headlights.
Rotate the switch to the "Headlights" position to activate both the low beam and high beam headlights for nighttime driving.
    Engaging High Beam Lights:
To engage the high beam headlights for increased visibility on dark roads, push the headlight control switch forward or pull it toward you, depending on the model.
A blue indicator light on the instrument panel will illuminate when the high beams are active.
Be considerate of other drivers and use high beams only when necessary, dimming them when approaching oncoming traffic.
    Activating Parking Lights:
Rotate the headlight control switch to the "Parking Lights" position to illuminate the parking lights without turning on the headlights.
Parking lights are useful when parked on the side of the road or in low-light situations where full headlights are not required but increased visibility is necessary.
    Utilizing Auto Headlights Feature:
Many Mazda CX-30 models are equipped with an auto headlights feature for added convenience and safety.
To activate this feature, ensure the headlight control switch is set to the "Auto" position.
The auto headlights function uses sensors to detect ambient light levels and automatically turns the headlights on or off as needed.
When driving in conditions with varying light levels, such as dawn, dusk, or tunnels, the auto headlights feature ensures that your headlights are always on when necessary without requiring manual intervention.
    Turning Off Headlights:
To turn off the headlights, simply rotate the headlight control switch to the "Off" position when parking or when driving in well-lit areas during the day.
Remember to switch off the high beams when approaching other vehicles to avoid blinding oncoming drivers.
By mastering the controls for headlights, high beams, parking lights, and utilizing the auto feature in your Mazda CX-30, you can ensure optimal visibility and safety while driving in various lighting conditions. Familiarize yourself with these controls to enhance your driving experience and promote safe travels.

You never explained if the CX 30 has daylight running lights or if the lights only turn on when it is dark?
Also, you did not explain if the red tail lights turn on in auto mode or if they only come on when you switch to manual?
I see so many cars running with headlights but no tail lights illuminated so it would be useful if you explained that.
And maybe check if the auto high beam button is actually working before you make the video so that you don’t look foolish by saying ‘it should be working so please disregard that’.
      Otherwise, informative video. 👍
